Mirandas Cafe Austin Reviews
Miranda’s Café is a great little downtown lunch spot when you want something quick but still fresh and homemade. It’s tucked inside the 301 Congress building, so it feels like a local “hidden” find. My order was made fast, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were surprisingly filling for a simple café menu. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the space is calm—easy to grab coffee, reset, and get back to your day.
Great place to enjoy a great breakfast with reasonable prices and good portions of food. The staff was very welcoming and the place has a nice, quiet atmosphere, the kind I like to start my day with. I had my usual, Roma Avocado Toast, with greek yogurt parfait and a hot mocha. It was delicious! The bacon on top was so savory and just the right amount pf crisp.
I had a really delicious burrito for breakfast. Welcoming personnel and nice service. Nice atmosphere to enjoy your meal. All this combined with reasonable prices, they really deserve my five star review.
Monica was incredibly helpful this week, I slammed her with orders of 10+ sandwiches for my colleagues every day this week and she always had the food ready on-time and she was so friendly! Brightened my mornings. All the food was fresh and tasty!
Visited Austin for a conference and had breakfast here all three days I was here. I had the French sandwich and the South by bowls. The food was really good. They also have smoothies. Jessica attended to me. She was kind and friendly.
During SXSW finding a place to grab a quick warm sandwich in between things is gold. And this place did not disappoint. I loved that they were open to customize your sandwich to your liking. Also everything is prepared fresh on the spot. They also had a great salad bar.
Go into the building to find this little cafe! The breakfast taco was so fresh and warm, the salsa was the best I’ve tasted, and Jessica was so kind and welcoming. The price is also perfect. Loved!
While looking around our hotel JW Marriott for breakfast, we were glad we found this cozy place for breakfast during our time at the SXSW event. The location is very close to our hotel. The toasted sandwich is really good, warm and freshly toasted, especially in the morning where the temperature is on the low side. For the sandwich you can choose up to three ingredients to your liking and they have a great variety of selection. The Texas toast is really good with the ham and egg. The service is good and staff members Jose, Monica and Jessica are really welcoming. we truly enjoyed our time there and went there for breakfast for most of our morning during our stay.
You can get lost searching around! So don't be afraid when you see things under construction, go right in. The prices are very reasonable, considering that prices go up for city living. I will definitely be back to try more! They sell coffee, smoothies, salad bowls, and breakfast sandwiches. You name it. Miranda's Café will settle your appetite.
Can't say enough about this cute cafe. I had the iced chai tea and roma avocado toast, both were absolutely delicious! Kiddo had the tropical smoothie which was also amazing, and prices were good for the amount we got. Definitely stop by!
Miranda’s Cafe is the definition of a hidden GEM! I made my first (of many future) visits while attending SXSW spring of 2022. This quant little cafe is tucked away inside your average looking office building and is 100% worth the morning stop! I ordered the Roma Avocado Toast and the Bacon & Berry Jam biscuit! Oh my goodness! Both items were AMAZINGLY delicious! I’m a huge fan of breakfast and it’s the meal I am most particular about since it starts my day off. I also ordered the largest caramel macchiato they had and sat down to enjoy my breakfast. Miranda’s Cafe has ample room to sit and enjoy some quiet time before a busy day, or a peaceful lunch during a crazy one. Now for MY most important factor when eating out, COST! Miranda’s Cafe is right up my alley with being very cost efficient. I live a “5 star rating, 1 dollar sign cost” lifestyle, and Miranda’s is precisely that. On my visit I was lucky enough to have Miranda, Jose, and Greg serve me. I also learned Miranda’s Cafe opened in 2020, yes THE 2020. So like all of your local restaurants, they are trying their best to make it through to the other side and become a lifelong success. Next time you need a quick delicious bite in downtown Austin, make the stop at Miranda’s Cafe. Great service, great environment, and great FOOD!

Very tasty breakfasts, I liked the XXL Burrito and their coffee is very good. Thanks Jessy Monica & Jose
Good convenient food however the online menu/ordering process lacks detail and has caused multiple incorrect orders. Unfortunately, they make it difficult to contact anyone online about this so it now has to be a review. Update on this review; the following week the staff kindly asked how they could improve the website ordering and took my notes. I hope to see the changes soon to ensure a smoother process! :D
Jessica is always a joy to see and is very welcoming to everyone who comes in. She always makes every customer have a unique experience! Anything off of the menu is delicious, you can’t go wrong
The service that Monica, Jose and Jessica provide is top class! Their food is good and the ambience is great. By the way, they have the best chai ever!
Miranda’s Cafe is the best! I stumbled upon this local spot while in Austin for a business trip, and i’m happy I chose it over others in the area. Jessica was kind from the moment I walked in. She was all smiles and it was a great way to start the day! The tropical smoothie was fresh and delicious, and the CDMX breakfast burrito was savory and filling, yet the perfect size. I definitely recommend!
I work in the building where Miranda’s Cafe is located. Jessica always has the BEST attitude and makes you feel so welcomed. She will remember you if you are a frequent customer. The food is phenomenal and has gotten me through the hardest times as vulnerable as that is. I love the cookie sandwich, the biscuit is too die for. Give it a try, you’ll be satisfied.
Miranda’s cafe is a hidden gem! Always great service and hospitality, Jessica and Jose are the best! Very well priced and quality food - highly recommend!
Jessica and Jose are wonderful chefs and even better people. This is a cafe with a neighborly vibe and they will make a custom sandwich for you just out of love.
This small hidden gem is top shelf! Jessica was a fantastic server. Such a friendly spot. The food is tremendous. My two breakfast tacos 🌮 were delicious. They even have their own special green hot sauce. It’s so good! Will definitely be back when we visit again.

My sister and I are visiting Austin for a conference and we found this cafe from a Google search. The food, atmosphere and customer service are absolutely outstanding!!! I do want to specifically recognize Jessica, who remembered our names each time we came! That is very rare in today’s restaurant business, and it was extremely thoughtful of her. She was extremely welcoming and made our food with precision and a smile on her face the entire time. 10/10!
Ordered a parmasan chicken sandwich for lunch (via lunchdrop) I don't know what it was that they sent but it tough and not chicken!! Where was the lettuce & tomato? DISGUSTING! Never again
