I randomly chose this restaurant close the the walking trail to grab a snack and quick drink! The vibe is phenomenal! Feels like I am in a beachfront Mexican bodega! Great food, amazing service and the rose wine Moncontour Vouvray was really good! Visit if you can! A must stop!

Amazing food and ambiance. We had deviled eggs, crema de elote (vegan and tasted like creamed corn soup), fish and chips and the poke bowl

Ok time for my review after visiting for the third time. Every time - amazing! My top choices: the pork belly fried rice, the poke bowl, the Chinichurri humus! They have the best chai late I have had and the coquito is to die for!!!!!

We had a fantastic happy hour experience! The staff gave us a warm welcome and everyone was super friendly. Brandon explained the menu really well and helped us pick food and drinks we’d enjoy. Since we came after the pool, we were looking for something refreshing. Ceviche and Pratsch were perfect choices. The truffle fries and the Mexican dish with Oaxaca cheese were also delicious. I’m glad we found a spot I’ll definitely be visiting more often!

For my first review in Austin, I have to say this place wasn't chosen based on trends or reviews but purely on a spur-of-the-moment decision. And I’m glad I went with my instincts! This place was fantastic. The flautas were a great starter that kicked off our night perfectly. Brandon, our bartender, was amazing and really set the tone for a great evening. This spot truly started our night off with a kick, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My sister and I came during happy hour and took advantage of the 50% off lite bites (appetizers) and cocktails. Her boyfriend joined us just after happy hour (too bad for him, but the kind fella grabbed our check anyway!). Got the truffle deviled eggs (you had me at "truffle"...YUM), flautas (the sauce underneath them was so yummy to dip the flautas in) and the ceviche (again, the sauce, this time a lime sauce, was so delish that my sis and I nearly drank it like a soup!). Oh, and the watermelon radishes as garnish were beautiful; I also happen to love those! Got the mimosa-ish cocktail and it was a plentiful serving. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Austin! Server felt a bit awkward in a way I can't adequately describe, but did a very good job. And he was excellent about refilling our water on the regular; very important both on a hot July Texas day and when I had to drive after (I'm a lightweight so I definitely felt that one drink!).

The experience was fantastic. Beautiful environment. Absolutely empty late on a Saturday night. Food was presented so nicely. A bit on the lighter side as I’m still hungry but still really enjoyed! Jackson is an incredible server. Genuine, knowledgeable and compassionate. Definitely elevated the experience that much more.

Nice spot with interesting food options and great wine selection. Mixed drinks and local beer options as well. Wife had the pork belly fried rice, I had the house burger. Both were excellent. Burger was cooked perfectly, and a great balance of flavors. Serrano aioli was flavorful but not overly spicy. Fries were crispy. We each had a slice of tres leches for dessert since it was my wife's bday. Fantastic. If this restaurant were in my area we would go back often.

Came in for lunch as it was close to my stay while in Austin. Sat at the bar and ordered from the seasonal menu. The street tacos were yummy and the Summer Sandia (?..sorry, forgot what it may actually be called) was surprisingly delicious. Everyone was kind and very attentive. My water glass was never empty, which was a small but pleasant part of the service. Would definitely recommend it.

I’m very glad I found this spot down the street from where I just moved into. They have a nice bodega, with good drinks selection. The staff was very nice and friendly, and provided a great customer experience. The food was also pretty good, they were serving a brunch menu during a week day in the afternoon, which was surprising to me and my friend that went there for lunch but also glad to pick some items from their brunch menu. The friend Rice with the pork was good, and my favorite were the duck and carnitas tacos. They have a nice atmosphere set up inside and their outdoor sitting also looked very nice and relax.

Went here for a birthday lunch and it was absolutely lovely. It’s a Latin Indian fusion with innovative dishes and a gorgeous interior and outdoor patio. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and knew the menu well. They were running a lunch special of a free grilled watermelon salad for the table with the order of an entree, it was fresh and delicious and is definitely something I would order again. We ordered two mains, the Chilaquiles and Coconut curry pasta both had a bit of heat, were good sized portions, and were very happy with both of them. To finish off they brought over a birthday slice of cheesecake. Overall, a delicious restaurant with great staff and atmosphere. Definitely a do not miss in Austin!

The food and vibes here are so great! I came here with a group of girlfriends on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their menu, while it's smaller than most, had great options and when we got our food, everything was so fresh and easily shareable! They have a great selection of wine and beers only.

Firstly, great vibe in here. There’s a little shop on one end with trendy drinks and snacks. Then the restaurant has a modern yet cozy atmosphere. Service was quick and helpful. The truffle fries were crisp and spicy, unique and mouthwatering. The duck on grits with mole was rich but not too filling. Great spot!

This place was a surprise! I expected a dainty little place but it resembled a modern market with a very modern bar and design to the whole place. I had gotten the Frose the -drink with the mint leaf- and it blew me away leaving me craving for seconds. The sangria honestly left much to be desired. The duck taco was fantastic and resembled a high end locations style but for only $6 and with how filling it was it could not be beaten. I’ve always been used to the home style heuvos ranchero’s but these blew me away with how much more eggs and salsa could be the entire meal was incredible and the place is definitely somewhere I would go try for a date night or even a nice causal business setting.

This spot has made it one of my top places for brunch. Was impressed with the taste of the food. The duck carnitas taco was amazing. The seasonal queso fundido was one of the best I've had. The egg sandwich was freshly made and the bun was fluffy. Make sure you order a mimosa, they are tasty and huge! Can't wait to come back to try the dinner menu. Instagram: food_and_travel0

As much is I claim I don’t like coming into town there is just so much Austin has to offer and Mour Café is one of those things! It’s a little slice of heaven!! It has a wine, beverage, snacks store at the entrance of the property then you move into a beautiful seating area within the restaurant, they also have a small but really nice patio surrounded completely by their very own herb garden with what looks like might be a honeysuckle vine or some other kind of vine covering the entire surrounding of the patio. All in bloom with little white flowers, could even be jasmine but didn’t have a heavy scent, Just a lovely atmosphere. And I also want to mention there is seating out front each little area devised for two people. They are very attentive to following Covid standards and require face coverings if you are not eating or drinking. Once we were seated it couldn’t of been more than a half a minute when our awesome waiter appeared. His name is Jackson and he was so attentive, it felt like we were very special customers! My daughter frequents the establishment and says that’s just how he is, all the time, to all his customers. Amazing! Oh, something really important is the patio is dog friendly and several people took advantage of that so there was some incredibly cute dogs hanging around while we were noshing and talking, drinking wine and just having a good time in general! We were there just a few minutes before happy hour started so we ordered a Beet and Goat Cheese Salad to share. If you wanted to make it more of a meal you could add a protein but we wanted to try several appetizers since this was my first time there so we decided to keep it light. I have to tell you it was the best Beet and Goat Cheese Salad I’ve ever had. It had a large quantity of blanched red beets, full of flavor, which is always what seems to be missing in other salads labeled with the same description. There was also a nice circle of goat cheese, some beautiful lettuces and gold beets that were raw, sliced into shoestrings. It was just beautiful! Truly a work of art! It tasted as good as it looked! It was a large portion for $10 so a very good value and the dressing was quite light so felt like we were eating something on the healthy side! It is one of my daughters go to’s and she usually doesn’t share it! They offer a happy hour from 5 to 6 PM and their appetizers are five dollars at that time. After a small bit of discussion we chose the shaved brussels sprouts and the guacamole and chips, all freshly made to order. When Jackson delivered the appetizers, I had to remark that it was such a nice thing that everything came out of the kitchen and looked so beautiful and appetizing. My daughter who was my dining companion was drinking a full-bodied red wine that she bought in the little store in the front of the restaurant. With Covid they have had to decrease their bar stock so you can buy a bottle of wine and they only charge a five dollar corkage fee. You really can’t beat that. I am not a red wine drinker so I opted for a watermelon wine spritzer that had a lot of watermelon puree to it and I really enjoyed it. It was very refreshing. Take a look at the pictures below and make way to your next happy hour at Mour Café..... you won’t regret it!!! Please be aware this was just a tiny tasting of their menu, they have a little bit of everything and a tip would be that according to those that have eaten it their Pork Belly Fried Rice is to die for, And they make a mean Chicken Tiki Masala! I love to eat at places like this and work my way through the menu. I think I’d have to come to Mour every week for a few years to get everything tasted but I bet it would be a fantastic journey. Thanks again!! Jackson, for the great customer service!

What a great find for the neighborhood. We just moved into this area and have been looking for somewhere that can be out regular stomping ground. This might be it. Everything we ordered was delicious, well-prepared, and healthy. The manager was incredibly attentive and they accommodated our special request when we needed to customize the menu for a family member. I'm looking forward to see how their seasonal changes. I can't wait to try it all. Yum! Highly recommend the pork belly fried rice! 👌🏽

Great ambiance, food and service. We had various dishes and the flavor was great, this place is a more contemporary version of a Mexican restaurant with a sophisticated touch on a casual environment setting which is a good break from your Austin mainstream Mexican restaurant. They also serve "Oaxacan Tlayudas" which are not commonly found in Austin and they were great.

My wife and I arrived around 9:15pm they close at 10pm. This was on a Thursday night. You can find a parking garage around the corner and directly behind Mour Cafe. Service was a little slow to start it took 5-8 minutes to get our first drink. After that slow start things were great. I had the smoked house burger it was $14. Their online menu shows $12 apparently it hasn’t been updated. Also, the meal my wife chose is not on the online menu it was an extremely tasty poblano dish. So just be aware that the menu online isn’t necessarily what you’ll find once you get there. Back to the burger, it’s quite possibly the best burger I’ve had in Austin. Wonderful flavors and textures. Also, the fries are superb. I highly recommend you check this place out if you’re in the East Riverside area.

I recently visited MOUR Cocina in Austin during happy hour, eager to experience what the restaurant had to offer. Unfortunately, my visit fell short of expectations due to a series of service-related issues. Upon arrival, I was disappointed by the staff’s apparent frustration when I took a moment to review the menu and ask questions. As a first-time guest, I would have appreciated a bit more patience and understanding, especially when engaging with unfamiliar diners. The real issue arose when I ordered a simple dish—deviled eggs—during happy hour. Despite the relatively low number of customers in the restaurant, my order took an excessive 35 minutes to arrive. Additionally, it took three attempts by the server to recognize that the dish had never been delivered to my table. Given that I had only ordered two items, this level of oversight was both confusing and frustrating. Further compounding the issue, I was left to flag down another server to receive my check, as my original server was nowhere to be found. When I had the opportunity to speak with the manager about my concerns, I was met with a dismissive response, and it seemed as though my feedback was not taken seriously. On a positive note, the coquito was a standout and truly enjoyable. I would recommend it to others looking to try something unique from the menu. However, considering the lack of attentive service and overall miscommunication during my visit, I would recommend exploring other dining options in Austin for a more enjoyable and seamless experience, particularly during happy hour. It appears that there may be better alternatives in the area that place a higher value on customer service and satisfaction.
