Pizzeria Sportiva Austin Reviews
Chef, and all the staff are amazing. Their food is spectacular. They just opened breakfast which is super nice. They have so many food options and their pizza is phenomenal. I definitely recommend this place 10/10..
Take out - Large vegetali. Good portion, tastes great, comes with 8 slices. The place offers a lot of veggie options. Second visit - Tried tre pepe pizza that comes with 3 hot peppers. Too spicy, worth the hype.
My husband and I enjoyed our lunch there today. Service was so friendly! My drink (Barrel Aged Boulevardier) was yummy! I plan to come back with my girl friends!
Amazing vegan pizza! The vegan cheese melts so well and tastes amazing. The chef did a great job selecting a vegan mozzarella and cooking the pizza at a high enough temp for it to fully melt. The service is great. I went on a tuesday afternoons for happy hour and the bartender was so kind and social. I’ve done take out several times as well but the pizza tasted much better in person. The only critical feedback would be to not give parmesan cheese with pizzas that have vegan cheese.
We dined at It’s Italian about a year ago and had a great experience, so we were very excited to see they were opening up a sister pizza spot next door! Just stopped by on a Friday night and sat at the bar. They have 4 different wines on tap, and a decent selection of other glasses/bottle options as well. The food was good - we tried the Cesar salad, small Sciara pizza. small Parma pizza, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was clearly made with quality ingredients and tasted super fresh. Atmosphere was casual but still felt like a nice spot for date night at the same time. The bartenders and owner were all super helpful and friendly. Great addition to the neighborhood; we will be back!
Just fantastic pizza. It was PERFECTLY cooked and the toppings were super high quality. The place is brand new and just opened, so excited to make this place a tradition.
We’ve been eating at their restaurants for over 25 years… this new Pizzaria is another stellar true Italian experience! The food, the atmosphere, the service was “PERFETTO”!
Authentic. Lively. Kind. Love this restaurant. 2$ Mimosas. Can’t go wrong. Ps if you leave a review that the food was “cold” because you ordered Uber eats, you’re a jerk. This place is amazing. Love the food and service.

So excited they are open for lunch again on the weekends! I tried one of their new Italian Burgers and it was delicious!!! Great place to watch the game as well!!!
We came to the Thursday night for a little happy hour meet and enjoyed the 6-8 free wine tasting offer. - the staff and service and wines were great. Our food tasted great but we only got the meatballs and garlic bread. Do Wish they had more veggie sides. Will be back!
We ordered a pizza and it was fantastic. Service is also great, everyone is very friendly and proactive. Will be coming back
Our weekday, with friends, hangout! Great gf crust is a bonus! Owner and staff make every visit a treat!
Delicious and excellent service. The owner came over and spoke to us about different meals and made us feel right at home. We will be revisiting.
What an amazong experience! This is beyond delicious. Best pizza my wife and I have ever had. This is a must visit destination!
Service, food and atmosphere were fantastic. We had garlic bread appetizers with added mozzarella as suggested by our server. It was very tasty with the artisanal olive oil on the table. The Roman style pizza suprema was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend this dining experience, even for date nights.
Pizzeria Sportiva is one of my favorite sports to go to. The service is always amazing and the food never disappoints. Morgan, Alex, and Daisy make great drinks and they are really cool! One of the only pizzas I enjoy in Austin!
8 of us dropped in last night for a quick meal. The manager and another guy(maybe the owner?) were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food was excellent. We were on the run but we will return when we have more time to check out more of the menu.

I loved the food here. It’s pizza and focaccia made with style. My two favorites were Pizza Fungi with mushroom and Pizza Toscano with pear and ham. Had some cool beer options and an amazing coffee to close perfectly my lunch, paired with some chocolate cake. Will be back to try their brunch while they play soccer matches over the weekend.
We had a great experience to no surprise. We love their sister restaurant next door. The owner and staff are all fantastic as well their supreme and veggie pizzas. We had the gluten free crust which stacks up at the top for me in austin.
Did takeout and probably would have returned two of the 4 items if it was dine in. Bean soup was more salt flavor than anything else. The Ceaser Salad was made with I believe iceburg, and while fresh was the wrong style of lettuce, did someone say romaine.
Good ambiance - European feel. We only ordered calamari. Too greasy and was served lukewarm. It came out pretty fast, so I doubt it got cold while waiting to be served. Will give their pizza and tiramisu a try. Next time, will definitely skip the calamari. And they serve Lavazza coffee :)

Just ordered from here. Maybe the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The boneless wings were heavily breaded with sauce on the side. I got 2 pepperoni pizzas for the price of one via DoorDash and would rather have had 0. Truly awful.
