Impeccable food and drinks for a reasonable price. Compared to a lot of other ramen places in CTX we really loved Sazan for the rich, flavorful seasoning and fresh ingredients. And Tyler was an amazing server! Thanks y’all!

I had their signature ramen with chicken. The broth was great. The egg was great. The toppings were minimal but the price wasn't too high. The noodles were thick and chewy. The chicken was served how it would be in Japan which is thinly sliced. No complaints here. I would definitely come back to try the other ones.

This is hands down the best ramen place I’ve ever been to. The staff is always super friendly, the food is prepared quickly, and the ramen is always INCREDIBLY delicious. I highly recommend ordering the spicy paitan with chicken!

Sazan Ramen was an absolute knockout. The dumplings were incredible, and the spicy ramen was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the broth was rich, bold, and packed with so much flavor in every sip. Even the oolong tea stood out—smooth, fragrant, and the perfect pairing. The ambience was gorgeous—calm, refreshing, and thoughtfully designed—and the service made the experience even better. Everything came out quickly, and the staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Truly stunning food, a beautiful space, and an unforgettable meal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been here a few times. The food is outstanding. We ideally end up getting different ramen dishes because they are so good. Service is great with nice friendly staff.

I love this place! I’ve been here a few times and every time the service is spectacular, they’re so friendly and funny :) I usually get kids size ramen cause I’m on a budget for like $12? (I think) but its portion is perfect size and the fries are really yummy, everything overall is so yummy and they have tasty drinks. I love bringing friends here cause the interior is so aesthetically pleasing

We went prepared to settle on limited non pork options, then discovered that they will substitute the vegan broth on any Raman). Winner! We enjoyed three of the Roman's and a nice appetizer. Service was excellent. Food was incredible. Ps you can get the spicy oil on the side to tune your own heat level. Ill bel back!

Very modern take, but they did have a Bar were we got to try a white peach sake! So good and Husband tried his first Takoyaki!!! Successes! He freaking loved it it was hit as the devils toe nails (in temperature not spice) but he is now willing to try out more foods! And we got some pot stickers. Staff was so friendly and super awesome our bartender made us feel so welcome. And most sakes you buy by the bottle not glass here. And behind their bar is a really cool shelf for dried herbs once used back in time

I recently moved to Portland and they have some of the best food in the world, but I literally can not stop thinking about Sazan. I crave their mayu black constantly (add a spicy bomb!) and the Sunday school cocktail is incredible. The servers are always so nice (and stylish!) and there’s no better date than grabbing a bowl of ramen here and then strolling over to browse Kinokuniya afterwards! Best ramen ever, favorite restaurant in all of Austin..hell, all of Texas.

The vegan ramen is so good and so spicy! My first time trying ramen and it was great. The fries are great and the waiter was so smart and kind.

Tasty, well balanced vegetarian ramen! Also got: tempura veggies & the waffle fries & not pictured: the vegan dumpling (that alone was not great). I got the GF noodle. Was perfect. Don’t forget the minced garlic on the side. Go for the very spicy with the oil, and it still will be a very tolerable spice level haha.

Amanda with Offline - The restaurant served excellent dry rub spicy chicken wings, which were very flavorful. I also had the extra super spicy bomb ramen, and a Japanese whiskey flight. The combination of the spicy food and the whiskey was a fantastic experience. Will definitely return and recommend

*Their date night deal is the best* This is the best Ramen in Austin for sure. Every time I try something else I am extremely disappointed. Flavor is something they take seriously. They are the only Ramen place that knows how to do bamboo shoots right (menma)... game changing. I recommend starting with they edamame or the wings with Texas sake, a coke, or their yuzu marg. Then you want to order the Ma-Yu (Black) Ramen if you are a garlic girl like me, with the pork both. Side note do not expect pork chashu, this is paitan ramen...but do not worry you do not need it. The best part is their prices so you can go ahead and get some extra toppings. No matter which ramen you pick get, add the Menma (bamboo shoots)! I also like to add arugula and the classic spicy bomb. I have been 20+ times and it is always top quality. If you are gonna go at night you might want to book a reservation. Parking can be hard to find during busy hours...but so worth it. The first 4 time we went we had to sit at the bar because they were packed. The bar was still a great experience so if you go and thats whats available jump at the chance. They are also open for lunch, so if its your first time and you don't like crowds it might be the option for you. Warning: You will trash talk all other Ramen house's after Sazan...yeah even Austin's favorite. You will also crave it and drive your friends crazy because it's the only thing you want. But fear not their point/loyalty system will keep your pocket book healthy. I also hear they might have a sister restaurant...I need to check it out. I know this has been a long review... but I'm tired of "food influencers" recommending crappy food at high prices.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the menus we ordered. Loved the special salt mixture that complimented the ATX Tempura. The Paitan Ramen and Spicy Paitan Ramen actually had a very different flavor, would recommend trying both. Will be back!

The ramen here is absolutely delicious. The vegan gyozas are okayish. They have Sapporo and Kirin on draft. It was good overall, the taste of the broth was there, will definitely come back to try more.

Have been wanting to have some Ramen for a good while now. We actually were going to a different restaurant but they ended up being closed for spring break. A person in front of the store recommended this place and I am very happy they did started with chicken wings and waffle fries both of which were incredibly flavorful. Then went for the main course and was not disappointed in any way. The flavors were well blended and came nice and hot. Had a good spice but next time I would add an extra Spice Bomb to it. I definitely will come back and try again.

Amazing broth. Rich and not too salty. Not meant to be an authentic ramen restaurant and their spin on ramen is refreshing and feels health conscious. The purple cabbage in my ramen was too hard. Should have cooked it more. The chicken wings were too dry and needed sauce. The spice coating was nice. I think overall the flavors are mild, could use more salt, but I think that's the intention to not have too much salt. Clean place, reasonable prices. Great service.

Impressive. Although it’s not the traditional Ramen, the soup base was rich and does not skimp on quality ingredients. Atmosphere is trendy and inviting. Service crew is very professional and friendly. Overall, a very positive dining experience.

The Spicy Paitan ramen and katsu curry were really good - right on taste and balance of flavors. The service was great, they kept checking on us constantly about the food and if we needed anything else. Friendly staff and decent ambience for a casual dine-in.

Overall, 3.5 to 4 stars. Ramen soup base is tasty and creamy but a bit salty. Teriyaki chicken has too much sauce on it but the flavor is good. The lighting is too dark in the restaurant and the next table turned on their phone flashlight to look at the menus. The table surfaces were sticky ( we changed the table once and both tables were the same), suggest to resurface and paint primer over the tables.

We spent $50 and still were hungry. Had to go eat somewhere else. The staff was super friendly and helpful; however, if I was to be honest, it’s some of the worst ramen I’ve ever had. The meat seemed very low quality(thin deli meat like slices), broth bland and didn’t feel like cohesive flavors mixing together. I wanted to like it more, but thank you for serving us with kindness.
