To all the haters out there: what is the deal?? This store is amazing! I was visiting the capitol and was in desperate need of a pizza pick me up. The guy on the phone was very polite and helpful. Arriving, I saw that the store was in a repurposed gas station. That was pretty neat. The pizza was just right. Super tasty. Medium pan pepperoni with extra cheese. Mmmmm. They did not have tea or lemonade on deck, but they were not afraid to point me across the street to Canes for a delicious Arnold Palmer. Great experience. Five stars to rub in the face of all those 1 and 2 star haters.

I have to share an experience that truly deserves a 5-star rating, not just for the product, but for the outstanding character and customer support of the store manager. I placed an order around 2:30 AM (about 30 minutes before close). I accidentally fell asleep, and when I arrived at the store around 4:00 AM, the staff were cleaning up and the store was closed to new customers. I learned my order hadn't been made and I would get a refund. I explained to the manager that I was utterly disappointed, as those last $10 were all I had left to spend, and having the order fall through was a disaster for me that night. The manager could have easily focused on closing and just processed the refund, but they patiently listened to my argument, genuinely assessed my tough situation, and offered what he had to help me out. His incredible act of kindness made me truly happy at the end of a disappointing night. People like this manager are the backbone of great businesses. He didn't just stand for the customer; he went above and beyond while cleaning up after hours. I am truly appreciative of this store manager for his kind heart. Thank you for making a difference!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The pizza was delicious and freshly made! The crust was crispy, the cheese melted perfectly, and the service was fast and friendly. One of the best Domino’s I’ve ever been to! 🍕

The #1 boba shop near UT hands down. Tapioca House also has the kindest owners and staff ever, and I love coming here after class

Every time Tina makes my drink it’s PERFECT. She does not miss. Sometimes the drinks are inconsistent here but NOT when Tina makes it. I just got my usual drink and felt the need to recognize her because it was amazing.Thank you Tina.

This is my favorite boba shop in Austin!!! All the drinks I’ve tried have been great. The owners and employees are also very kind. There are a wide variety of teas, snacks, and food. The shop even has cards and board games which I love. Highly recommend this place! My favorite milk tea to order is the Thai green tea!

I LOVE this place. Definitely the best spot on campus for snacks and drinks. The owners and staff are always so friendly and offer amazing service. The atmosphere is always nice and cozy too which is a huge bonus. By far my favorite place on campus to go hang out and grab a drink/snack. Can’t recommend enough!!!

The food is really good! I got the combination noodle soup and my friend got the mushroom chicken and rice. The soup was slightly tangy and there was beef, shrimp, and squid. The meat was good and the noodles were also good. They were kinda like pho noodles. My friend’s chicken and rice was also really good. I think they forgot to add the spice on hers though and the service for my food was kinda long.

EDIT: omg I had their tofu lo mein today and WOWWW it’s hands down one of the most flavorful noodles I’ve had in my life. The tofu was marinated and charred to perfection, it was SO flavorful I was so surprised when I bit into it. Their fried mushrooms also stay crisp even after a couple hours, I got spicy level 2 and it was so umami. I also tried their Thai green milk tea today with oat milk and it’s now my current favorite milk tea. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, hiiighly recommend this spot! We always hit up Tapioca house for our catering needs and our friends LOVE their boba! We’ve ordered from them for our wedding and birthday parties and every time people are super surprised by the quality of boba. In particular our guests love their wintermelon oolong tea, pineapple green tea (the owner sources it straight from Taiwan!!), and their oolong milk tea. People have commented on loving the chewy QQ texture of their boba pearls.

Came here after church to grab some boba with a sister in Christ. Their food is so good and their boba very tasty! Not only that, they have board games that you can play inside with your friends while you enjoy their food and drinks. I highly recommend this place! Parking was easy to come by since it was at night, but I could see parking be a problem during the day as it is very cramped being downtown and all. Other than that, I will be back again!

This boba shop is a hidden gem! Their boba is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the food is equally amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit a delight. Plus, its location right next to campus is so convenient. I can't recommend this place enough—definitely a must-visit for anyone in the area!

Super friendly place! Thuc and his wife always have a great smile and a warm welcoming. I love their boba drinks and tried multiple favors. Can't choose between thai tea, taro, winter melon, and more. Also, the tapioca balls here are perfectly soft and chewy. For sweetness, I preferred 50% sugar if you don't like too bland or too sweet. You can always adjust them to your own liking. Thuc wife's cook such a delicious shrimp lo mein, which is one of my favorite dishes now. Highly recommended!

I ordered the mango slush with boba, no sugar. It was delicious! Mango had the right amount of sweetness already and boba was great! Fast and very friendly service. Thank you.

The servers here are super nice! They know my order + have even made modifications to the smoothie drinks to make them vegan friendly for me :) the meal combos are a great deal... I especially recommend the crispy tofu or the tofu lo mein for vegans out there! In terms of boba, the fruit teas are all great... guava is not on the menu but when they have it, it's delicious!

New ownership + tasty snacks! The chicken bites were okay, but the tofu, dumplings, and carrots (surprising right) were solid. The combos are okay, but I’ll be back for more fried snacks!

First time eating here and ended up getting 2 meals and 2 milk teas- I will say some of the best noodle dishes I've ever had and the food was very fresh- husband and wife making all orders fresh to order with passion. Good prices on the food and a good attitude and restaurant very clean and inviting

I tried the taro and piña colada smoothies — both were really good! The piña colada had a refreshing tropical flavor. However, the winter melon wasn’t for me — it tasted a bit off and lacked the taste I expected. Would definitely go back for the taro or piña colada, but I’d skip the winter melon next time.

April '25: pleasant service and still lovely food and tapioca drinks. My wishes below haven't been granted. 🙃 Sept. '22: Cute decor/ plants & paintings. <The chili flake oil stuff was present- it's a bit lackluster but I appreciate its presence among the hot sauces.> I'd *love* to see brown rice on offer; that's probably a fantasy, but I do think the Styrofoam cups & containers should go! All that said- glad to see the place operational & busy. The staff seemed to be on top of things. 👌 April '22 UPDATE: Glad food is on offer after some period of time with no cook! I don't mind the tweaks to the side dishes & style of items (I got a #6 crispy chicken steak combo) and the price increase is most understandable (portions may be even larger). The place has also continued to be cleaner than in the past; BUT a] they've gone back to Styrofoam containers and that's both environmentally unfriendly and inconvenient (breaks/ spills easily during transport)--I disapprove; and b] while there are several sauces & whatnot available, I missed having white vinegar and most importantly, the yummy aka magical chili flake/ garlic?/ peanut/ oil paste from the past! ^^If some of this could be resolved, I'd gladly tack a 5th star back on. :} ____________________ Spring '21 UPDATE: THANK YOU for having sealable/sturdier, recyclable containers now instead of Styrofoam!! Truly appreciated. Glad the business is surviving. ______________________________________ Old review- way pre covid: It's campus adjacent and sort of a hole in the wall but the variety of bubble tea (drink) options and freshness/ perfectly cooked quality of the tapioca itself are appreciated. Best in town. I keep coming even though I'm no longer studying or walking across the street. Plus, my mom is hooked. Also, the food is v good; I usually get a meal combo that comes with a jasmine green tea. 150 is my fave. And the green onion pancakes and red pepper peanut magic sauce are each great -- not -always- available but there are back-up options. :)

Cute, cozy little spot! Milk tea hits the spot, love the wide variety of options available, and the rice + crispy pork was delicious! I do wish the pork was seasoned more, though. I think the seasoning is basically the spice level I asked for, so I wish I asked for more. The spices they used in the spice level is delicious, so next time I'm going for spice level 5 (nope, not that spicy. Go for it). Overall, great place, most definitely returning

So compared to the other Asian restaurants around here, the prices are noticeably lower here. What you get for what you pay is reasonable. I ordered a $6.95 pork chop combo. You get rice, sprouts, string beans, and an egg on the side. You also get free black tea with boba. You also get a stamp card that gets you a free drink after the 10th order with beverage. I think the free drink and stamp card are the selling points of this place. However, here's my complaints. The quantity is a little lacking. It's reasonable for the price but you should consider ordering more if you're really hungry. Also, this one is major. The quality of the food isn't great. Couldn't even finish the rice. Rice is mushy and not cooked well (maybe it's old?). Pork chop is not as crispy as you'd expect it to be. I can see why many people would come to this place though. It's actually more reasonably priced then nanny of the places around here. I just wish they would focus a bit more on the small details. My suggestions: make sure the place is clean and upgrade your rice quality. I will still come back to try other dishes. --3.75 stars

The crispy tofu is a tasty and affordable snack, but you pay for kitchen items with your time..Had to wait over 30 minutes to get it. This wait time is consistent with other times I have ordered from their kitchen, which date as far back as the past 1 to 2 years (which indicates the business does not intend to change their methodology). The food is good if you aren't pressed for time, but you do need to be ready to wait for it. Edit: The owner's response is an argument from false equivalence. Everyone waited for their order, but they waited LESS for their order. I was order 60, and the order being served already reached 77 by the time I received my food. I understand that staff is low, but pointing that out is unnecessary. Explaining the cause for the observation in my review doesn't change anything about the objective reality stated in my review. I am informing readers to expect a wait if they order food. Explaining why the wait is long doesn't change my message. The owner's response is redundant.

Last 3 deliveries have been terrible service, very VERY late deliveries because they got lost. Every time, the drivers didn't speak English, so I couldn't even help them find me. My place is not difficult to find. They are the only people EVER to tell me Google can't find my address. (Clearly a lie to shift blame off of personal ignorance) Everytime I called to complain, the assistant manager handled the call perfectly. Also the food was always correct if not a little cold.

Too expensive for bad, inconsistent boba. I have gone to Tapioca House about 5 times in the past two months. Everytime I go, it's either mediocrely good boba or a disappointment. There's been twice that I have gotten an order (the strawberry classic tea and the honeydew milk tea), quite enjoyed it, so I got it again, and it tasted completely differently and kinda gross. Today I got a drink with 75% sweetness bc I got 100 last time and it was slightly too sweet for me, but it wasn't sweet at all. I had to come home and pump it full of sugar to even get it to be enjoyable. Also the prices just went up 50¢ for drinks and 25¢ for toppings, yet no change in quality.

I parked in front of this Domino’s to get bread sticks. I saw a vintage store next door and thought that’s cool, I’ll check it out. I was in there for a few minutes and then went into the Domino’s. I didn’t see the breadsticks on the menu so I asked the lady behind the counter. She said I think you’re thinking of Mr. Gatti’s with the long breadsticks, but we have the little bites that are similar. I really wanted the long sticks of so I left only to find a boot on my car. The parking attendant came out and said I can help you with that. I said why did I get a boot on my car when I’m literally going into Domino’s to order food. He said you can only go in the Domino’s and not next-door when you park here. I said so I should park here, get my food and then park 20 feet to the right on the curb to go to the store right next-door he said yes and I had to pay $100 to get the boot off. Domino’s is dead to me. We order delivered pizza from there all the time in Lago Vista. Not anymore.

Ordered 5 pizzas, desserts, and sodas to the School of Nursing for a farewell event for one of our staff. Scheduled it for 11:15 am delivery. No food at 11:45 am. No food at 12:15 pm. No food every arrived. I was assured on the phone three times that it would be here, that they were just running behind. People's lunch break is over now and everyone has left. I tried calling to get the refund for the order never getting delivered and was asked to call back later to speak to the manager. I only went with Domino's because the Leander locations are so reliable. This is my worst pizza delivery experience every. I gave the food 1 star without knowing what it tastes like since it never arrived.

S
Sarah Shultz

I work nearby and order from this Domino’s pretty often. Today I stopped in to quickly ask if they had a restroom I could use before my Uber arrived, and the employee responded very bluntly that the bathroom is for customers only. The tone really caught me off guard, especially since I’ve been a customer here many times. I actually would’ve bought something, but the attitude was so off-putting and he couldn’t even be bothered to come to the counter, that I walked a few feet down the street and went somewhere else. Honestly, there are plenty of places within feet of this location where you’ll get better food and staff who don’t look like they hate their lives. I’d recommend choosing one of those instead!

J
Jacqueline Munguia

I recently found myself at this Domino's location and, as someone who is new to the Austin area, I was completely unaware of the issues surrounding parking and customer service here. Unfortunately, my experience mirrored some of the negativity mentioned in earlier reviews. While I had high hopes for a quick pizza fix, I was met with an atmosphere that felt unwelcoming. The staff seemed disengaged, and I could sense some tension in the air. It’s disheartening to hear that others have had similar experiences, especially when they mention feeling disrespected. The parking situation was particularly alarming. I parked my car, only to discover later that the area had been partnered with a private booting company. I didn’t see any signs indicating that parking was restricted, and I returned to find a ticket on my windshield. It seems like they have a system in place where ticketing happens almost instantaneously, leaving little room for error. I can understand the frustration of locals who have been caught off guard by this. Given my experience and the stories I've heard, I can’t recommend this Domino's. It's a shame, as I was hoping to find a reliable place for pizza in my new neighborhood. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my pizza cravings, and I suggest others do the same to avoid unnecessary stress and frustration. If you’re new to the area like me, be sure to check the parking regulations thoroughly and perhaps consider dining at a different location.

T
Tiag C

Be extremely careful parking here. I left my car for less than a minute and it was immediately booted by Central Parking Enforcement. No warning, no grace period, just a $100 fee on the spot. This feels less like parking management and more like a revenue trap. If you step away from your vehicle for even a brief moment, expect aggressive enforcement. I understand private lots have rules, but instant booting without any reasonable buffer creates a predatory experience for customers. If you’re planning to order from nearby businesses, think twice. One small mistake can cost you $100.

B
Beth H

Placed an online order and they did not follow the directions at all. Not to mention when I brought it up, the guy was extremely rude and defensive. I was not in a rush so I didn’t mind the order being wrong but if that’s the attitude you’re going to have when a customer tells you an order is wrong- that’s a problem.

N
Neil

Left our soda and $10 worth of sauces we ordered. They put us on three consecutive holds for 30 min until we finally snapped. These guys do not take their job seriously and are an absolute joke. Don’t waste your money here. I’m contacting corporate about this place because their manager needs to go. This has happened many times now. Just tarnishing the entire brand.

E
Ethan Pratt

Placed an order online and it told me it would take 30-50 minutes. Around an hour it said it was delivered and it definitely wasn’t. Called store told me to wait 15 minutes, called 15 minutes later and they told me I was next stop and it should be another 10 minutes and then 2 hours after I places my order I called and they told me they would just refund my order and wasted over 2 hours of my time, and now I have to go find food somewhere else. Doesn’t get worse than that.

M
Marianna Latil

Waited 40 min for a pickup order & then they got our (simple) order wrong twice. That wouldn’t have been a problem but the woman making the pizzas, Mariana, got angry instead of taking accountability for her mistakes.

T
Thuy Dang

Got my car booted in a split sec!!! I got out of the car to grab boba and came back for the pizza all within 10 mins. The boot guy handed me a $100 boot ticket as “I left their property”. Ig the business is getting bad so they had to find a new way to make money.

J
Jonah Seifer

There is a predatory parking enforcement operation located here - DO NOT patronize this location. Even if you are a customer, they will boot you. There is no recourse, they just boot you. Argue all you want, the boot will be there when you're done. There is no appeal, nothing. Late stage capitalism at its finest.

H
Harrison Carmichael

Waiting forever, really frustrating. Way longer than predicted on the app. Jennifer has been “on the way” for the last hour. Unbelievable.

B
Benji

They boot you the second you leave the property line. Definitely predatory parking enforcement to gain some money while also having hidden fees with their food, pay for parking on holidays, in my opinion the manager here is shady and being malicious in making money. Even paying customers have been booted

K
Kate Hawkins

Every time I order from here, without fail, they never follows delivery instructions, make me walk outside to get the food from their car, and never have the right order. For example, I’ve tried to order a Diet Coke the last few orders, they ALWAYS show up without a drink at all or something I didn’t order, and say “oh well we were out.” then why is it on your website or why didn’t you call me before the driver left the store girl?

A
Amusing

I am writing this because the service at this location tonight (9:00 PM pickup) was genuinely concerning from a customer-service standpoint. When we arrived, the front counter employee asked for the name and immediately told us the order was not ready. His tone, body language, and facial expression were openly irritated, as if customers arriving for pickup were an inconvenience. Shortly after, another couple walked in behind us and received the exact same treatment. Both of our orders showed as completed on the in-store screen and in the Domino’s app, yet the employee repeatedly insisted they were not ready without checking properly. After a long wait, the other couple explained they had ordered over an hour earlier. The employee again appeared frustrated and dismissed the concern. A cook then came to assist and quickly located their order it had been ready and sitting there the entire time. When I later asked about my order, the front counter employee again reacted with visible annoyance instead of verifying or assisting professionally. The issue here was not the wait — mistakes happen in food service. The issue was the employee’s attitude, lack of effort to verify orders, and poor communication. Customers were made to feel like a burden and were given incorrect information while their food was already prepared. This experience reflects a training and accountability problem that management should address. An employee representing the front counter should not display hostility toward customers or refuse to properly check completed orders.I am writing this because the service at this location tonight (9:00 PM pickup) was genuinely concerning from a customer-service standpoint.
