Very chill, somewhat expensive prices for the Cafe, but loved doing homework/studying there. Especially love going outside by the creek
They have really good food and a great atmosphere just don't get the coffee. It tastes really old.
GREAT!! NICE AC❄❄ on a Super hot 🔥 day ! Don't forget to grab a delicious deli sandwich 🥪! Much better than stadium dogs 🌭 😋
Fairly affordable and comfortable vibe
amazing coffee + baristas and atmosphere! the patio area is lovely
Great ambiance, optimum service. One gets a feeling of the 40 acres while visiting the campus.
I’m a graduate student at UT and study here almost everyday. The food is high quality, tasty, and fresh. I normally get the half sandwich and soup special and it never fails. The coffee is great, I’m an ex-barista so I know good coffee. Speaking of baristas, the staff is SO kind. They go out of their way to make sure your order is satisfied and never make a bad latte. I love my study trips to the cafe!!
So convenient for students and on-campus staff / faculty! Employees are so so friendly, the coffee is always stellar, and I could survive for the rest of my life just off of their kolaches.
Amazing service, great variety of food and coffee (the quesadini, lemon bars, and matcha green latte are all supreme), and a relaxed ambience both inside and out that's perfect for studying or meeting with friends. 10/10 for sure recommend.
Cuvee coffee is featured at this lovely small cafe set in the southwest corner of the Etter-Habin Alumni Center. Panini, salads and friendly staff. Sit by Waller Creek and catch a glimpse of urban wildlife.
This is the best kept secret on UT campus and I am slightly scared to write this review as I hope it stays that way... But this place is top notch quality across the board. Classic Italian espresso beverages done to perfection, great paninis and snacks. Even the bagels here are outstanding, better than many custom bagel shops. So grateful for this oasis of culture on Waller creek!
This place is the only reason I graduated. Best coffee on campus, love the Kolaches, the staff is always friendly and your order comes out quickly.

Great for a quick coffee. Indoor furniture and atmosphere is very Texan themed, and very comfortable. However, outdoor chairs are all metal and not the most comfortable. Overlooks a steam with some of the most greenery on campus. However, it's location is far from many other popular buildings, meaning it's usually a long walk to your next appointment.
Great coffee (americanos are terrible though). Plenty of seating to study, nap or grab a snack under beautiful iron chandeliers. It's pretty loud here with students coming in and out but luckily, there is quiet space adjacent to the cafe. Good sandwiches here too, I recommend the griled cheese, chicken salad, or caprese.
Very limited selection, but very easy to grab and go. Almost impossible to get anything modified so not a great option if you have any kind of allergies . Prices are a little bit high but it’s on campus, so what do you expect?

As someone who attended both college and, more recently, graduate school at The University of Texas, I ate a lot of meals (and drank a LOT of coffee) on the UT campus. More often than not, this meant warmed-over slices of pizza or fast-food tacos, which is why I was so thankful that Texas Expresso was located just down the street from the School of Social Work, where I took most classes. Located in the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center, Texas Expresso is a small coffee shop with a decent selection of paninis, salads, pastries, smoothies, and (of course) coffee drinks. These are all basics- nothing here will blow your mind- but everything I've had here is done well and tasted fresh. The caprese panini, with a side of sun-dried tomato dipping sauce and a fruit salad, was always my go-to here. If you're feeling a bit more indulgent, the grilled cheese with muenster, cheddar, and blue cheese, served with cherry jam dipping sauce, is excellent as well. Everything is made fresh to order, so be forewarned, your food can take a few minutes. Seating in the shop is limited, but there are plenty of comfy armchairs and couches, perfect for studying, just outside in the alumni center. I don't think I could have gotten through college without this place!
The food and coffee are always good. I feel like the prices are a bit high. My biggest issue is the service. The staff are always a little rude, even if it's not particularly busy. Probably have more than one person taking orders, heating food, and making drinks Nonetheless, the atmosphere is nice, it's fairly quiet, and it's always a good experience

Texas exes is not worth the money. I promise you that your grad will appreciate the 800 dollars cash instead of getting a useless lifetime membership to a do nothing org. They get money from millionaires and billionaires. They don’t need your cash.
