Igam Coffee Avenue U Reviews
I been looking for my go to coffee spot with unique type of drinks and one day when I was driving by I came across IGAM. The drinks are very aesthetically pleasing, flavorful and unique than your ordinary cup of coffee elsewhere. I love that the menu has a variety of coffees, frappes. and refreshers. My favorite go to coffee from them is the ocean breeze late and ube coffee. It's layered perfectly and I am always excited to get one. Alex and his staff always makes sure the drinks are on point and they have great customer service. I highly recommend this spot. You won't regret trying it.
Igam coffee is one of the best coffee spots in the area. Not only is the coffee and different drinks here on point but the service is impeccable. Additionally, they have a variety of different drink selections and food if you prefer something other than coffee. My story is brief-but I was seeking a place to study for my grad class this summer and Igam coffee came up in my search. I am happy I discovered this hidden gem. I come here a few times a week to study or just read. Anyone seeking a great cafe with different coffee drinks and service definitely come check out this cafe.
I've started coming here pretty often! As a barista of many years myself I recommend them. They have quality espresso drinks. The Spanish Latte is my favorite as well as their Cortado. The food and pastries are tasty. They do currently only have one barista so if you're coming during a rush hour be aware that you will have to wait longer. The barista is always so nice and does his best. They have free wifi and seating for studying or working. Good overall atmosphere. I enjoy it here. PS. I was here during the interaction of the customer who left a 1 star review about gloves ~ Respectfully, it couldn't have been about the gloves. I was the one who ended up eating this sandwich, as I had watched it be made while waiting to order (barista used black, nitrile food-handling gloves) and I felt comfortable eating it. It was delicious 😊 It was the IGAM Lox and I really recommend! Good salmon and large portions.
We got the Ube Iced Latte(plant based milk available) and Bacon egg and cheese(it was on toast) both were excellent. We’re definitely coming back to try more flavors, that being said I would give the cafe some time to get their kinks out. Seems like they still have some training, happening. We weren’t in a rush so it was fine.
Igam has a relaxing atmosphere. It is cozy and I always feel welcome. Every drink is delicious so you really cant go wrong with any choice you make. Some drinks can be too sweet but that is not a concern as staff will adjust the sweetness, just request the change when you place your order. Deserts are yummy. Kouignamann is a must try French pastry. Tip: ask to warm it up. Igam is in my top 3 coffee shops for sure. P.S. Every 11th coffee and pastry is free. So make sure you grab the punch card. Simply put Igam is a gem and a must try experience!
IGam Coffee Shop is honestly one of my favorite spots. The vibe is super chill, and the matcha always hits just right. The staff are really nice too, always smiling and quick with your order. It’s the kind of place you go to once and end up going back without even thinking about it, I'm insisting you go and try it out frfr :D
This café is a hidden gem! The place is clean, cozy, and beautifully set up—perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. The service is top-notch, and everything is done with care and a smile. It’s truly one of the best spots to enjoy life, sip a great coffee, and take a break from the hustle. Highly recommended!
I had a wonderful experience at this cozy café. The ambiance was inviting, and the barista was incredibly friendly and attentive. I ordered an iced dulce latte, and it was absolutely delightful—rich, creamy, and perfectly sweetened, making it the highlight of my visit. I also decided to try their fries, but unfortunately, they didn't quite meet my expectations as they seemed a bit stale. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed my latte and would definitely return to try more of their offerings. Great for work or studying
This lovely café is such a blessing to the neighborhood. I've visited it a couple of times, and their drinks have never disappointed. The lavender matcha latte delighted my palate with every sip—the blend of matcha and lavender was perfectly harmonious. Even better, you can customize the sweetness level of every drink. With slightly reduced sugar, the lavender matcha latte revealed even more aroma and depth of flavor. The strawberry milkshake was also amazing—its silky texture and authentic fruity taste clearly reflected the use of quality ingredients. I will come with hunger the next time so that I can try their food items as well. Though the store isn't very spacious, the owner has kept it clean and free of clutter, which makes it feel roomier, open, and comfortable at the same time.
The atmosphere is perfect for both catching up with friends and getting some work done. Plenty of seating, great music at the right volume, and fast WiFi make it an ideal spot for remote work or reading. Highly recommend this place if you’re a coffee lover or just looking for a cozy spot to relax. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Very cozy and friendly coffee shop. My go to is a frozen mango smoothie, latte and IGAM Lox (salmon avocado sandwich). Prices are affordable for the neighborhood. Perfect place to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee or swing out a laptop to get some work done. The hours are perfect for some after work coffee and such a convenient location.
Igam is my favorite café in Brooklyn, and for good reasons. The coffee is always top-notch, and their tea selection is great too. They get fresh pastries daily from different local bakeries, so there's always something new to try. The prices are very reasonable, which I love. The location is super convenient, perfect for a quick stop or a relaxed visit. The owner is incredibly sweet and makes everyone feel welcome. The café has a cozy, well-designed interior that’s very inviting. The quality of both the products and the service is consistently excellent. I highly recommend Igam to anyone looking for a great café experience. It's a spot where people of all backgrounds can feel at home.
Nestled in the heart of Ave U, IGAM coffee shop offers a delightful experience with its superb coffee, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service. The baristas are not only skilled but also genuinely friendly, ensuring every visit is a pleasure. Whether you're grabbing a quick espresso or lounging with a latte, this spot is perfect for both. Highly recommended for coffee lovers and those seeking a cozy, welcoming place to relax.
I really wanted to like this coffee shop, but the service was disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for our drinks — even though we were told it would be about 20 minutes. There was only one person working over the weekend, and while I felt bad for him, it’s clear the shop needs more staff during busy times. The drinks were refreshing, but unfortunately, they weren’t worth such a long wait.
I ordered classic beef burger and fries. I never expect a cafe would serve burned beef patties. At first bite, I thought that was their beef burger style. As I continued to take more bites, it became apparent that the beef patty was burned, it was hard and the outside was charred. No kidding, that beef patty was almost hard like rock. And the fries, another disappointment, were very salty and soggy. So disappointed. Service was good but they could have done better on food quality.
