Excellent food, excellent service and atmosphere! I live in the city and I love Uzbek food- unfortunately, we don’t have any Uzbek restaurants where I live. After reading all the reviews I was hesitant if I should go to Gulchatay or Sherdor restaurants nearby, but I’m glad that I didn’t! The lamb kebab and the liver are so fresh, juicy- just excellent! I had a lamb kebab in Georgian house on Brighton beach some time ago and it was so dry and disappointing. But Padishah exceeded my expectations and I finally got the food I was craving! Highly recommend to everyone! And will be back)

The overall environment was clean and organized with amazing foods that all fresh. You are greeted with a warm welcome and your orders are taken right away. Along with the great service, there are also amazing foods with an organized menu with a variety of options for soups, salads and kebabs. Everything was fresh to the brim and tasted amazing, I highly recommend trying the food here.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the service and the food and everything you can name. The menu has a vast of variety of options with all types of soups, salads and main course meals. You are welcomed with a warm greeting and the music in the restaurant lightens up your mood and brings you joy as you eat. Along with music, the food was all very fresh and was prepared rapidly, tasting to perfection. I highly recommend this place!

Simple restaurant, but very tasty food! Atmosphere is lacking, but it’s still worth to visit this place. Also nice bonus their prices are surprisingly low. Big portions, dishes were cooked quickly and everything was fresh. Service was good as well.

My family and I have been going to this place for over 8 years now, ever since it opened. The food is really, but really good and if you're a lover of European/Mediterranean cuisine, you'll love this place as well. It's a BYOB place and no one will give you fried or charge cork fee. It's perfect for family lunches/dinners and for small birthday celebrations.

Fresh, tasteful food. Try: Liver kebab, lamb kebab, ribs, achuchuk salad and their french fries. Delicious food.

TAJIKISTAN 🇹🇯 UZBEKISTAN 🇺🇿 Eat the World NYC review: With a Tajik chef who grew up in Uzbekistan, Padishah tends to focus on the cuisines that overlap these two countries, of which there are plenty. This dinner for seven had a good assortment of courses, starting with cold salads, hot savory pastries and plov, then moving finally to a vast array of delicious shish kebabs. The atmosphere here is festive, you'll notice your neighbors emptying very large bottles of vodka and whisky while on weekends a solo singer provides musical entertainment.

Good, clean and tasty food. We got beef kebabs and samsa. Service was good too despite the gentleman not speaking English, he still made every effort to serve us well.

The staff are very friendly. This place has very positive atmosphere. Prices are just right. We celebrated with the company of 7 people and everyone liked this place a lot. The only reason for 4 starts that a few of shish kebabs were over salted (like they accidently dropped them in seasoning). Everything beside that was perfect.

The place has a bit of an old vibe, which honestly doesn’t feel very inviting. That said, the food is actually good — fresh, well-cooked, and enjoyable. If they update the atmosphere a little, this spot could be much better overall.

I was about to write a very good review. We had plov for lunch, and it was amazing. Unfortunately, we decided to get liver to take away, and it was clearly expired , it had turned greenish😖 Very disappointing.

The shashlik is delicious, the soup (shurpa) is tasteless, you can't even eat it. Automatic tip is 15%, NYC tax is 8.875% plus operating fee is $10.68. Although we paid cash. Overpriced. Unprofessional. Stay away from this place as far as you can!!!

They serve VERY old expired food. Service is notoriously slow. Purposely or not, they do not bring dishes together, so you get all salads first, then nothing, then all meat. By the time the meat comes, all side dishes have already been eaten, so you're forced to order more sides!

We used to dine frequently at this restaurant. This was our first time since the management changed. To say we were disappointed is not to say anything. Many items on the menu were not available and the rest of the items that we used to order have dropped in quality significantly. Overall, the dinner was a true disappointment. We will not be returning to this restaurant for sure.
