Best bacon ever! Everything is excellent!! Try their wraps. Yummy fries! I was just reading some other people’s reviews. I was disappointed to see a few so-so comments. I’ve been eating here since I moved into the area over 20 years ago. It’s the best diner in the area and they have the nicest people working there! It’s that warm neighborhood place where everybody knows your name. ❤️

Fast delivery, fresh ingredients, and everything tasted amazing. The Greek salad was crisp, the spanakopita was flaky and flavorful, and even the side of avocado was perfect. Great portion sizes for the price too. Definitely ordering again!

My daughter and I discovered this diner earlier in the year and go there often. The cook/chef is so good. We are very picky eaters so only order 3 or so things off the menu but they are always cooked to perfection. The prices are excellent

My husband and I came in here while I was unfortunately having excruciating back spasms. The staff were kind and didn't treat me differently just because I was crying at the table. It was pretty embarrassing for me so I'm grateful for that. They brought me some really good hot sauce for my eggs and the portions go crazy. You'll definitely need a box! Will definitely be back 😊

I stopped in here with my son yesterday afternoon for a quick lunch and it was so yummy! We got the cheese quesadilla, the Texas burger, and the apple pie. We also each got hot chocolates. They were so good! The staff were really nice. Also, since the place was kind of empty, they even suggested we sit in a bigger booth. We really enjoyed ourselves here. Would definitely come back.

Bar seating and booth seating in a nice cozy restaurant. Everyone in there is SO nice and helpful. Food came out fast and was delicious. Crispy fries. The burger was ordered medium rare and came out as such! Def worth a visit and I'll be trying this place again.

This is a cute diner, which I didn’t even realize it was a diner because it’s not the average style structure, it’s like a hole in the wall. But it’s always the hole in the walls that are the best! The servers are so friendly and caring and the place overall is comfortable. The food is really good too! And they actually make your food the way you want it which is a A+ to me.

Local diner for your go to needs. Friendly staff is always a bonus since customer service seems to be a long lost art nowadays.

An order of wings, onion rings and rice was steep at $24. With tip and service fee was $30. This place is above my price range.

I have an old tradition of getting breakfast at a diner on the first Sunday of the month. Lately, I been going by myself since, most of my friends are trying to eat healthier. I decided to visit this diner since it's relatively close to where I live. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted or directed to anything. So, I waited for a few minutes and sat down at a booth. I waited for another 10 - 15 minutes until I had to flag someone to retrieve a menu. And then another, 10 minutes before I was able to flag someone down to order. I ordered the basic scrambled eggs with toast and fries for $6.50. The food is on the pricier end especially, with the smaller quantity. Other diners do offer early bird specials, such as a free beverage. The food was on par with other diners. Nothing out of the ordinary, except how quick I got the bill before I even finished eating. Nor did anyone check in on me. A bit disappointed with the lackluster service but, I will visit again.

I’ve been here a few times, and it’s a straight-up, dead-center 5 out of 10. No love, no hate, just food on a plate. You won’t gag, but you won’t write home about it either. Thirty seconds after you step back onto Avenue U, the only thing you’ll know for sure is that you’re not hungry anymore. No joy, no regret. Just full. The waitstaff moves like they’ve got places to be, and the guy who took my payment had that rare, almost mythical quality—he actually seemed to like his job. Prices? Reasonable in the way that getting punched in the gut is better than getting punched in the face. The food? Imagine a truck stop cafeteria off I-95 where the cook lost his passion somewhere between Scranton and Baltimore. That’s about right. So if you’re standing outside, squinting at this place, wondering whether to go in, ask yourself one thing—do you feel like walking? Because if the answer is yes, take that impulse and follow it. Five blocks in either direction, and you’ll eat something that reminds you food is supposed to be good.

Stopped in for a quick bite and had a quick fright. The LARGEST waterbug just walked on by like he was the owner of this place. The only reason I payed was because I was in uniform. And the manager and staff ALL knew why I stopped eating with quickness. No one cared and he had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. Yeah, here is your tip....get an exterminator....NOW! NEVER AGAIN! My advice, stay far away unless you're into that type of stuff!
