Cafetería-Pub Drinping Baeza Reviews
My favorite place to get coffee when I'm down in the city. Haven't been able to go much since my friend moved from Brooklyn to Manhattan, but I think about their Chaggamatcha, Krem Latte, and their food all the time! Everything they have hits. Great place to work, study, play a board game, and have some fantastic coffee & a bite to eat. The vibes are perfect. Always people chatting at the bar & the owner's smile would light up my day anytime I went, really lovely guy. Great neighborhood place & I can't recommend it enough.
Mitch the owner was so welcoming and friendly, and the iced latte he made me was perfect. Hip atmosphere and all around a great time! He also recommends their matcha, which I hope to get next time.
Always a treat to come in here and get my morning snack & coffee. Staff is always super friendly, this is about to become a regular spot for me.
This place is home away from home. It is clean safe, affordable, and friendly environment full of diversity a great place for networking and meeting. People joining social and community groups are just as simple as having a place to sit and feel like you’re in your living room to unwind and take a break and enjoy some nice healthy refreshments. If I could get this place a higher rate than five stars, I would I recommend Haitian patties. Personal pizzas or a natural smoothie like sunrise.
good vibes, enjoy the owner who is a flatbush local and seems to be really passionate about coffee. their vanilla latte is so good, as well as their chaga matcha omg! patties are good too and the pastries. they have a little speakeasy in the basement where they host cool game nights and things like that.
Very good when you wanna be healthy. It's delicious and affordable. Sometimes when I want a break from eating refrine sugar and other bad things that's not good for your body. I'm glad they are still around. Thank you always for great customer service and food.
There aren't that many coffee spots in Brooklyn like this. Ample seating to work or socialize. Food is solid and reasonably priced. Playlist is the right vibe for all audiences. Black owned. Don't even do reviews but here to say pull up.
Literally home away from home. It's a safe space to work, think, breathe, smile, and be yourself. Food and drinks are awesome. The creativeness with the atmosphere & sets the mood. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.... I definitely get the patties all the time, Purple Rain, Krem Latte & Papa Smurf(best invention ever). Dont even get me started on the Authentic Haitian chocolate. Just divine. I've been hooked since my first visit, lol. dont tell my diet that, tho 🤣🤣🤣...thanks for making me feel seen, yall 💜💜💜
I fell in love with Drip before I even walked in.. they had beautiful, cultural art that caught my life. They continue to switch the art every now and then to add a fresh look and showcase the art of others. The first time I had one of their famous healthy drinks and a salmon burger with seasoned fries I KNEW this would be my favorite new coffee lounge/cafe. Between the environment, art, drinks/food, and the friendly staff, this place is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!
Genuinely the best coffee in Flatbush. I’ve been going since 2019 and the quality of coffee has remained the same (and unmatched) and the quality of food and food options has only gone up. For me the two best parts are the staff, who are friendly, knowledgeable, and never make you feel rushed and also that they are dog friendly (make sure YOUR dog is friendly). If I’m anywhere near Roger’s my dog pulls to get there. Highly recommend their mocha and the purple rain 💜
My first time going here was just Sunday a few days ago and it was really nice. The space is adequate, but also bigger than I thought it would be. There's so much seating and they even have games and a little library! I loved the salmon burger and really want to try the Kremas latte when it's back in stock. The decor was so colorful, and the other customers were friendly also. I'm not that close to the area anymore but I would definitely come back for that latte and some of the sweet stuff I saw in the display 🤤
We stayed for a week in an Airbnb next to Drip. Jetlagged and excited Drip was our first stop early in the morning. We were welcomed and taken care of in such a way we made a point of coming back. Drip seems like a real place of community but is also so welcoming to foreigners. We were delighted to hear about the neighborhood and were recognized immediately on our second visit. Plz try the Haitian hot chocolate : it is to die for. Music, comfy couch, wifi and board games at your disposal for a chill and happy time in Little Carribean !
Wow!! 10/10 I got a drip turkey burger that was DELICIOUS! Juicyyyy! Made with brioche bun! The patty was juicyyyy. It was only $10! Affordable prices I’d say especially for how delicious it was. I’d say all that was missing was some fries! Hope they add that to the menu. The atmosphere was also super awesome! AC working nicely and spacious enough. Wasn’t there during busy hours which I heard was during the weekends. I would definitely come again!
Such a good addition to the neighborhood. After Roger That closed, we were sorely lacking a decent coffee shop. This place has a good selection of teas, coffees and smoothies, the decor is lovely (nice comfy sofas for lounging on and tables for working on), fast WiFi, and lovely owners. Will definitely be back!
Went here as a meeting point for a group bike ride and was pleasantly surprised to see something I hadn't heard of before: Haitian patties. They're super flaky and fluffy, with a small portion of flavor-packed filling. I also had the breakfast sandwich on a roll which was sooooo delicious. I hadn't had eggs with seasoning in many years so this brought back memories of breakfast my mom would make. My only constructive feedback is that the bathroom is unacceptable. The bathroom alone I believe would suffice for the cafe's B rating. It needs to be cleaned and maintained. I avoid eating from establishments with less than an A hygiene rating, but this place slipped through the cracks as I hadn't noticed. The food was good but the hygiene rating is definitely something to consider.
