Lee's Sandwiches Bellaire Blvd Reviews
10/10 coffee is expensive. But worth it. Food is top quality. Been coming here for the past 20 years Each time I am in the area I always got to stop. Sadly I live 2 hours away. But always worth the drive
I always come here for Vietnamese coffee. I like Lee's Vietnamese coffee more than most places because it's very strong. Once in a while I get their banh mi, their croissant sandwiches are a lot tastier and also you get a bang for your buck. The patechauds are always really good and their steamed meat buns are not bad at all either. It's a good quick stop for food & snacks.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the best bánh mì and Vietnamese iced coffee in Houston! The bread is always fresh and crispy, the meats are flavorful, and the pickled veggies give the perfect crunch. Their combo sandwich is my go-to—so satisfying and affordable. But what really keeps me coming back is the cà phê sữa đá. It’s strong, rich, and just sweet enough. You can tell it’s made the traditional Vietnamese way—perfect for a morning boost or mid-day pick-me-up. I even take home a bottle sometimes! The service is fast, the location is clean, and the menu has great variety. Whether you're Vietnamese or just love great food, this place hits the spot. Highly recommend!
It’s the best banh mi I’ve ever had in the U.S. Their baguettes are baked so fresh that they stay crispy the next day somehow! I’ve had about a million and one banh mi’s in my lifetime and theirs is like the most well put together. Vindictive of like a fancy deli sandwich unlike most others if that makes sense. Their menu variety has something for everyone and ofc you can’t not grab their infamous coffee to compliment your breakfast! This place lives up their hype and I’m glad to see that
I am ridiculously in love with Lee’s Sandwiches’ Banh Pate So (flakey pastry filled with pork). It’s a great breakfast/snack. The prices are super affordable! Also the banh mi is super tasty. The drinks are okay; there’s better drinks in Chinatown. They have a drive thru, but going inside might be faster. Lots of indoor seating and parking.
There are many places to sit indoors. There are separate places to order and places to receive sandwiches, and they are well marked. They sell a variety of snacks and drinks. The staff was very kind. The sandwiches here are really delicious. If you like sandwiches, I would recommend it. The bread was really soft and delicious.
Read on Google that they have a bussin Vietnamese coffee so I came and tried it. It was indeed bussin. Didn't try any of the food so this review is solely for the drink!

Visited Lee's sandwich in Houston. Thus location is near many other asian restaurants. I ordered the special combo sandwich for $5.94 after tax. I was very impressed by the bread; had a soft inside…
It was honestly super dirty in there trash all over the dining area floor. it smelled of fresh bread being baked though. The food was fresh & iced Vietnamese coffee was delicious. The Italian soda was yummy & flavorful, very sweet tho, we tried the passion fruit. The egg rolls were good but small pork&shrimp. got a half gallon of the coffee concentrate for $25
I recently visited Lee's Sandwiches and found their offerings to be quite filling. While the taste of the sandwiches could use a bit more flavor, I have to commend their croissants. They are absolutely gold and truly stand out. Overall, a solid experience with room for improvement in the sandwich department.
sugarcane juice and viet coffee were lovely, but not the best i've had. the viet coffee was... overwhelmingly sweet. but good in small doses. there's a decent selection of viet snacks which i really enjoyed. i wish this place had (more?) chè but i enjoyed my lunch. oh, and the bánh mì was great.
These the best sub in the town. They are price very well and I always get a bunch when visiting to take back home. They are the perfect travel lunch sub. The place is very spacious and ample parking. They do have a drive thru but I think it is faster just going in because there is usual no line.
I’m stuck between 3 and 4 stars for eating here. For experience and variety I have to give it 4 stars. It’s a pretty cool and fun place to eat out. They have this robot cram cake maker. And, yes those cream cakes are good. They’re made with custard, my favorite cream. Those I have to give five stars. I ordered the tofu Banh mi. I have to give that 3 stars. Although it was good, it could be so much better. Maybe warmed up and served how would add 2 stars. All in all it did feel like Europe style sandwich. I don’t think I’ll come back because I want to find some 5 star places.
I'm not sure why some people are complaining about how there are too much ice in the Vietnamese coffee when you're supposed to let some of the ice melt to balance out the strong coffee. The crushed i…

This lance has been here about 15 years or so. The good side is that the good is good and the breads are fantastic. The down side is that the owners have put zero into the upkeep of the property. Furniture is old and used. There are people who clean but the building and the decor just look run down. It’s counter service and the staff is friendly though. You can order what you want and go if that suits you. There are always folks outside playing games and there is security on site.
Walked in at 4:30 there was only a couple of guests in the store. Service was good the girl behind the counter was very helpful and kind. The store was very clean. However the food was not good at all even though the bread looked very fresh. I literally find 4 I inch pieces of tasteless pork. My wife said she couldn’t taste the tofu on hers. No wonder why they have no business my order was number 6 at 4:30 pm. That’s scary. I really hope they put more attention to this. As of for us. We have much better options.. Goo Luck!!
Don’t get the bánh mí’s here.. they are not good 😭 I’m not picky but damn the bánh mì xíu mại was borderline inedible. It was so disappointing that I had to write a review. And y'all can skip the pate chaud, barely any filling at all. At least the little cream desserts and the bánh cam was good.
My bestie and I had plans to go to a different restaurant but they were closed for renovations; so this was our 2nd choice. Both places were recommended. We ordered the shredded chicken Banh Mi. M Pros: Lots of parking, large space, very clean, very nice staff and delicious iced Lipton green tea. The price of the sandwich was reasonable. Cons: Flavorless chicken on dry bread with no homemade mayonnaise. Asked for Hoisin sauce- but they only had ketchup (never had that on any other Banh Mi). The small tea was $3.00. I’ve had much better.

Honestly, I had a good time, trying their deli manjoo and coffee. But that all went wrong, when I found out that Lee's Sandwhiches staff gave themselves a tip! That's stealing! You know I have a copy of the receipt which should've been the real amount charged, but no, they had to be greedy and charged more than what was on the receipt. Never coming back.
