Tacos Tierra Caliente Bellaire Reviews
This establishment is an excellent choice for purchasing Mexican sweet bread and pastries. They also offer hot coffee and champurrado. The staff members are consistently kind and friendly, always greeting customers with a smile. The location is well-maintained and clean. A particularly enjoyable aspect is the wide variety of options available, making it delightfully challenging to choose just one item. Furthermore, new items are introduced every weekend. I personally enjoy their ojos and conchas. They have multiple locations throughout Houston, TX, and I highly recommend visiting Panaderia Tierra Caliente.
The best bolillo in Houston. Delicious it definitely worth the drive
I love this place been coming here for years. We get all of our birthday cakes 🎂. Yes it does get busy and crowded at times but it's because everything tastes so good.
Consistently fresh bread, prices keep going up though.
Quite literally the best panadería in my opinion. The bread that's served is amazing in flavor and I recommend ANYONE to stop here and pick up some doughy treats
Great selection of sweet breads and various other kinds of breads , been going there for years . Cashiers are very dry they very rarely greet customers or make eye contact. Would be nice if they improve on that aspect. Owner should take responsibility in training employees that customers are why they are there but once again the breads are wonderful .
Good French bread.. tasty 😋
They have a huge variety of fresh pastries, desserts, baked goods, donuts, bolillos on metal racks where you can self-service. Would've been nice to see prices and descriptions of the goods listed besides the items (and in English as most signs here were Spanish) rather than getting a mystery filling. I asked the staff for something savory. Despite a line forming, I appreciated that she walked around the counter and pointed out the 2 different items for me. The bollilos (baguettes) were perfect- slightly crunchy and not chewy. Bring cash just in case as minimum credit cards is $5.
I grew up coming to the bakery. The bread from last night is very hard and dry. Was there a change of recipe or Bakers? The total was much much more expensive. I don’t know if I will come back :(
I’ve coke hear for the past 6 years and although the presentation of the bread looks great and the bread is organized and it’s fresh . The taste is not the same . I don’t know if the recipe changed but I came hear yesterday around 3 and grabbed concha and a bread that had cream in it and the chocolate concha was soft but no flavor as it used to be back then that tasted chocolately and buttery and softer and the cono looking with cream inside was way too hard to even chew .. now a days is hard finding a real good bakery not only the softness of bread matters but flavor and presentation too .. sad , to taste this company bread now tastes different I use to be a big fan of this bakery and I would drive 30 min to get there for their bread
there was a worker standing at the register i couldnt tell if she was open but she ended up checking out the person behind me while i was still waiting. so we just left
Pasteries and bread look great. Not a fan of too many flies and knats.
I went to buy a cake, i really like the bread and everything. But they need to put more milk in the cakes, the cake looked more like regula cake not 3 leches, that thing was too dry.
I went to this place and asked for a strawberry shortcake cake I showed one of the ladies in front the picture and told her I want the cake exactly like that and she so okay we will do it. Today I went to get the cake and NOTHINGGG LIKE THE PICTURE NOT EVEN THE COLORS OR DECORATION. They tried to put strawberries to fix it but instead they messed it up. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Payed $75 for this 🤦🏻♀️.
Bad customer service!! I was there today and the lady at the register was ringing me up when she gave me my total and I told her I didn’t want the cookies and I told her to take those off and she made a face!! I told her what was so hard about it.. she only had to subtract the amount of the cookies from the total.. she acted like she didn’t want to do her job!! I hate writing bad reviews but this lady got me very upset.
Don’t waste your time coming here. It’s extremely and uncomfortably crowded and they hardly had any bread. They don’t restock the bread, instead they just have the carts out with the trays of bread in them which takes up even more space! The bread is good, but don’t waste your time. I will go to Panadería Arandas next time. At least they have more space and it’s cleaner and more organized. I’m pretty sure this place is a fire hazard. I went to this location thinking is was maybe bigger than the one on Beechnut, but nope. It seems they’re all the same and crowded. I can’t say it enough. Crowded!!
