These are the best Tacos I have had outside of Mexico. It is so authentic. I will absolutely go back, come back to post pictures. The food was out of this world. You should try it. I hope the prices stay the same. Sincerely - A foodie. Be careful confusing this restaurant with a taqueria around the corner with the same exact name and logo. Went to that taqueria by accident and the tacos were salty.

The food is delicious they have a menu with good prices the food serving is amazing about 30yrs later I'm still eating there, so if your in the area it wont be a waste of time u are going to enjoy the food! I order from here almost everyday . They’re breakfast is great , I’ve never had an issue and I’m always happy with the food . Their lunch I get all the time as well . They’re quesadillas are fire and the Mexican burrito hits too . Prices are fair as well . I would recommend this restaurant to any one or their family to come by .

Pretty solid local diner & Mexican restaurant. I can't speak to the Mexican food since I got a classic American breakfast platter but I was very pleased with the quality and portions. Cute atmosphere in a fun neighborhood with plenty of local culture.

Now one of my favorite restaurants in the city! They have this nice wall for taking pictures. Food was authentic, made me feel like I was back home. Everyone is so friendly and the prices are very very fair. They’ll be seeing me soon and i’ll be bringing some friends!

amazing neighbourhood diner restaurant! got the huevos divorciados and it was delicious. the salsa verde which flooded the plate had the rare, perfect amount of acidity. the fruit pancakes deluxe with sunny side up eggs and sausage were also equally perfect in each component, with a special shoutout to the sausage (crispy skin! piping hot!) and hotcakes that had all the comfort of a childhood homemade breakfast. the servers were kind and warm, and the environment is cosy without being cramped. absolutely absolutely will be returning in short order.

Best huevos rancheros, anywhere. I've lived in Los angeles, traveled to many other cities. I always try where was Rancheros in different restaurants. This was by far the absolute best I have ever had. The egg perfectly cooked. the tortilla perfectly crisp, never got soggy. The beans were so smooth and flavorful. And the sauce that they put on it was amazing. I had everyone at my table wanting to taste it, but was not willing to share. Thank you, Sol Maya. You added a bright spot to a very emotionally heavy trip.

I love this local spot!! The menu has so many great options. The torta was SO yummy with crispy bread and a lovely side of fries. Their mimosas come with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice! Breakfast here is so yummy too, with perfectly crisp bacon! The ambiance is so welcoming and beautiful. Can’t wait to go back and try the tacos and baked goods! My daughter and neighbor, after going to an open school house, decided to get something to eat. We came across this restaurant walking and decided to go in. The food was very good and the service was fast. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with a mirir soñando (it was amazing)! Everyone enjoyed their food. We will definitely go back again.

The fresh orange juice is so good. I ordered the French toast, scrambled eggs & pork sausage. I enjoyed the french toast the most. I also had the chicken noodle soup. It was hearty and filling with carrots, potatoes and noodles. The chicken was very tender.

Service was kind of slow and the grits with cheese had 2 slices of cheese on top that didn't melt into the grind, even when you mixed them. The oreo cake was soooooo good. I would go again as I have ordered from here many times and loved the food

Food was good. The Al pastor was good but I feel like the meat was lacking tenderness. Same with the birria. I feel like it should also include a consome. Also the tortilla was a little dry. It fell apart with the taco. Service and atmosphere make up for this. The atmosphere in here is amazing. Decor is top notch.

Tried their american breakfast, typical diner taste, nothing special, chicken soup was luke warm, waitress is friendly.

Had a bad experience with waitress waited too long to get my order when I asked her for something she literally gave me a bad attitude not same place from years ago when it was triple A.

Pancakes and sausage are but half of my sandwich was empty. It was good but wouldn’t buy again.

The waitresses seem miserable, they do their job but they don’t even try to look happy, also the owner makes them loose out on tips as we have to get up and go pay at the register. Food is presentable and great but overpriced. It has their pro and cons

Their portions seemed to have decreased. My grilled cheese had 2 slices of processed cheese on it and my brother only got about 12 fries on his breakfast platter. Potatoes are $3.00 for a 5lb bag in the supermarket. SMH. Very disappointing, this visit. Do better Sol Maya...It was not worth the $35.

Was positively surprised by the portion size of the onion rings. Most memorable part aside from that however was a cockroach dropping from the ceiling into a customers OJ sat in the booth behind me. After the Initial shock and hasty reactions of the affected table things were handled humorously enough and comping their order (I think) that no one actually minded. Which says more about the general vibe of it I feel.

I lived in Mexico before NYC and was very excited to try this restaurant. The meal I had was almost unable to be eaten, and the mashed potatoes were worse than the ones from the box when you don’t use water, butter or salt. I can almost guarantee they’re box potatoes. 1/10

This has been a good restaurant for years but the service has gone down recently. They’re constantly understaffed leaving just 1 waitress/waiter to cover over 9 people. I left today because nobody greeted me after 10 straight minutes after I was seated. The restaurant conveniently located but I’m not coming back here.

I just ordered a pork dish in salsa Verde. When I open and taste the pork dish. I realized that they made this dish using turkey. Turkey is OK, generally much blander than pork and the parti cular turkey taste has to be soaked out or infused with more spices than is necessary for pork. I hate boiled turkey, especially under salted boiled turkey. The clerk warned me about the . sauce being spicy. I love fiery curries. THAT SAUCE BARELY REGISTED ON TGE SPUCY SCALE. LET'S SAY A 1 ON A 1-20 SCALE.

I found a bug in my grits ! And I got a full refund ! The lady only tried to give me back 4.50 I told her I spent 36$ she then gave me the whole amount ! The manager tried to say I didn’t get that from here ! I laughed
