This is a quick serve onigiri restaurant in downtown Berkeley. It's awesome to be able to get fresh onigiri in the East Bay and they include edamame as well. We split a plate of 3 and got the short rib(x2) and the unagi. Very small inside the restaurant, very much a get your food and go type place, but there is some room to eat standing up. They were quick, well priced and delicious. The perfect quick bite.
I love this small and efficient place - I really enjoyed the kimchi, teriyaki tofu, and salmon rice balls. With an order 3 rice balls, you will get free edamame from them! Recommend!

Food was ready super fast! I don’t like fish so I might not be the best person to indicate about the taste of the food, the teriyaki chicken I ordered was ok and two triangles was an ok amount to calm my hunger for a little while.

They have amazing “sushi” so much easier to eat than regular sushi! I recommend the short rib rice triangle it’s delicious!

Ooooooorrrrrrrr you readyyyy to get rid of the rumble in your tummy???? Because this is the spot to load up on rice triangles with fish wrapped in seaweed. My dudes if that’s not getting you hyped for driving out and trying this place then idk what will. I will say the portions are a bit smaller for the rice cakes and the salmon (I think that’s what I got) flavour was a bit muted. So maybe not 5 star experience but still pretty lit ngl

These aren’t Japanese onigiris so prepare yourself if that’s what you are looking for. I got the spare ribs, ahi tuna, and salmon. The meat tastes great, but the rice was a bit too soft for me. The proportion is for more meat which isn’t what I’m looking for in an onigiri.

Ordered the 4 triangle set and they put them all together sonit seems like a small order for $25. Should have ordered them i dividually, maybe they'll put more edamame.

Ordered a 4 triangle set to find out that they no longer give edamame or teriyaki sauce with bigger orders. Prices were the same.
