Excellent service and tasty buffalo wings
I went in early evening and it was really nice there. Spacious. Talking was easy
Stopped in on 6/8.drinks were good and cheap.bartender was very friendly .I had a chicken philly for dinner that was the best philly I've ever had .definetly will return .
We always get a Grilled Chicken Salad, Chef or Pork Spiedie Salad and they are Delicious!!! We also love their Burgers and Pork Sandwiches !!
Classic bar/sports bar atmosphere with great food at affordable prices. Well-poured cocktails. The bar tender may be your wait staff at the table, but that's ok, they are attentive! Just a personal note- if your mac salad has tuna in it, you should mention that.
A cozy neighborhood bar where patrons and bartenders will both make an effort to chat if they see you around. Sometimes there’s live music. Also good pub food. Worth a visit (or two). Good beer deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays and seasonal sports always on.
Awesome food...great sandwiches...homemade macaroni salad as an alternative to french fries...prices are more than reasonable...drink prices are good also....an enjoyable bar atmosphere not loud...great for older patrons... Thirsty's is still the same wonderful place...they survived COVID 19...the food is better than ever and it's plentiful. Their prices are still reasonable and if you pay cash there is a 4 % cash discount. It's clearly stated on the menu. They smoke their own beef brisket and it is to die for...I am still hooked on the macaroni salad. Keep making things the way you have and I will keep coming back!!!
My favorite local bar to stop by anytime I'm in the Bing area. Top of my list for a reliable meal and a fresh draft beer in an ice cold pint, every time. Staff is chill, crowd is calm, and Marc in the kitchen kills it every time. And best of all, you walk out fed and quenched at a fraction of the price of most downstate establishments...more tips for the staff!
Good food and fantastic service. This is your good old fashioned bar, with plank top tables and barrels to sit at, as well as a full length U shaped bar.
Thirsty's delivers an acceptable dining experience on the CHEAP! It had been a while since the last time we hit up Thirsty's for a meal so we decided to give it a shot on a Saturday evening. We visited between the hours of 5pm-7pm and the establishment was only slightly busy. The first thing that caught my eye is that the prices for everything seem to be stuck in 2009, and that is far from a complaint! $9 for a burger with chips, or $10.25 for a burger with fries is the lowest I have seen a burger priced in years. Most of the rest of the menu items at Thirsty's reflect this concept as well. We ordered a burger and a Philly cheese steak on this visit. Staff were friendly and quick to take our order. From the time of ordering to the time we received our fo od was between 10-15 mins which is on par with what is expected. The food arrived hot and was good, however not blowing anybody's socks off. For the cost of the food, this is perfectly acceptable. Overall, I would visit Thirsty's again for nothing other than the cheap food. It did the trick, was good, and certainly didn't break the bank.
From out of town. Wanted to watch the game 3 of NBA finals. Big long bar with lots of TVs behind it. Pool tables at far end. Good selection of beer on tap and bottled. Food was very good. Would go back again.
Food is very good. Service, and prices are always good. Lots of TV's for sports including all NFL games. Usually have a couple interesting beers on draught beyond the usual stuff. Lighting is both a little dark yet glaring. Also, using barrels as table and bar supports doesn't leave much room for knees and feet. Nevertheless, hard to go wrong here.
Pretty good food at very fair prices. Nice tap selection & good prices. The bartenders over 30 are pretty good, but the young kid working today, not so much. He has an attitude that does not become a typical bartender. He actually ignored me when I asked for something. At least he has a job!
Not bad ambience looks newly put together so it doesn't have the old feeling of a cowboy or a country bar. The only thing that's really feels country in here is the music pumping out to the speakers. We got in sat down and find a seat easy enough, but nobody came up to us for a drink or a menu for about 15 minutes. When someone finally did come up to us it was a waitress so we ordered drinks. Even though the place looked p pretty slow. She asked if we wanted menus and we emphatically said yes. 15 minutes later to bartender is coming up to us asking us if we'd like food. That would be a si amigo. Food came pretty quick once we ordered it. Both of us actually had the same thing which was the half pound mushroom burger. It's a big burger with dea descent amount of mushrooms and some white cheese, so we'll just call it white cheddar. Fries are pretty good, not too crunchy, note to salty, actually there the best part of the meal. right. The bun was too big for the burger and needed to be grilled. Tasted like they just come out of a plastic wrap bag. Price who is normal. Pretty nonchalant attitude getting the check for getting paid though. I guess it's who you know around here for better service. Out of towner customers beware I guess. Pretty good food I If you don't mind the wait. Even when it's seems they are slow.
They didn't have ribeye but they had brisket I hate it it came out with barbecue sauce which I hate and rather have it just a tablespoon of gravy which I also hate I hate but I will never order it again it was terrible I don't like anything on meat especially sweet I choked it down I'll never order this anywhere.. the only reason I came was the rib eye I've cooked brisket at home but never seen it with barbecue sauce. I don't like gravy or barbecue sauce even worse there offered to take off the bill it's was the worst brisket I've ever ate.
This is a great spot for a cheap beer. The first time I went, the service was great. The second time the female bar tender was extremely altered to the point of slurring her words and yelling about the cook. Also the food was barely edible, but it is super cheap
Tried to eat here. Came in and sat at a table. Mikey took our drink order, brought the drinks out and never came back. Sat waiting for Mikey to stop vaping at the bar for over 30 minutes and left. Had to remind him what we ordered just so we could cash out.
1/21/24 was my first and last visit to Thirsty's. We only went because beer thirty was closed. This place is DISGUSTING. The entire place is disheveled. The glasses were cold but the drinks from the tap were flat and almost room temperature. I got a fiddlehead and my friend got an angry orchard. Both $5 a piece. The younger gentleman who was bartending kept taking watered down shots with a crowd at the end of the bar. The woman who was working did nothing but complain to the couple next to us about how sick she's been. No one checked on us after we got our round of drinks. We had to flag them down to close the tab. We probably could have walked out un noticed. The top of the bar was cluttered with empty bottles. You have a visual of the cooking/prep area and it is not the cleanest. I would not even consider ordering food from there. I did leave a $3 tip just because. Parking also sucks.
