It was really busy there today but the hostess let me sit outside and grab a table while I was waiting for the kitchen to catch up. Sydney did a great job and came by to hook me up with a really great salad and a new beer collaboration IPA. The salad with chicken was outstanding and I really liked the dressing. The beer was great and I'm so excited for the warm weather and being able to sit outside here. Thanks for a great meal.

Food was delicious! Spinach artichoke torta was really tasty. Ahi tuna salad and make our own pizza was flavorful. We chose thin pizza with pesto combo sauce and toppings of Italian sausage, black olives,banana peppers and portobello mushrooms

Fabulous food and lovely atmosphere in the evening! Sitting outside and having delicious food was mesmerizing!! The service was great! Tried their Stromboli and it was superb! Worth trying!

The warmth of the Atmosphere is completely mirrored by the warmth of the people and nicely complemented by the cold of all the different brews! Locally sourced food with attention to the nuances of flavor in each dish so you can actually taste the quality. Staff are refined but super friendly and really know their stuff! Loved the brick wood fire oven and all the delicious sauces!!

A classic Bloomington tradition, wood fired oven, calzones, and a bear selection to that pleases just anyone who likes hops. Upscale comfort atmosphere and friendly staff, a must experience place if you are checking out the Bloomington foodie scene.

We immediately found a seat and got waited on. Our waitress was very patient with our indecisive table and very helpful recommending her favorite dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and the place is clean. Food ranges from $12-$20. I ordered cheese pizza and it was amazing thin crust. I highly recommend this place!

Local legend, serving amazingly tasty and intentionally sourced food. The entire staff is fabulous, fast, and friendly. The menu is varied and complex but everything is delicious. Don't miss this one.

Absolutely delicious gourmet pizza and craft beer 🍻 Highly recommend enjoying the many gourmet pizza and other delicious fare. The selection of craft beers and IPA offerings are impressive and delicious 😋. And did I mention the incredible pumpkin cheesecake I got "to go" for a midnight snack? 🎃 Enjoy!

Had a nice afternoon snack. Chips and queso were flavorful and buffalo chicken wings were excellent. Can’t wait to return!

Maria was awesome she's running this place very well. Alex are server was very prompt and friendly. I will definitely come back sometime. I highly recommend coming here.

Love to eat here when visiting my daughter at IU. Never a bad meal! Their strombolis (calzones at most restaurants) are awesome.

The ambience was delightful! I ordered the Krock of Voodoo Chili and was happy I did. Simply so good. One of my friends had a near allergic reaction. Manager at the time was incredibly thorough and accommodating with resolving the issue. Lennie's is a great place for food, service, and atmosphere.

Excellent. Monthly special Mac and cheese was wonderful. Served was great. Loved the little holiday jazz duo. Great job!

My partner was upset because Lennie's no longer carries their white sauce, which he loved. For myself, I had a lunch which consisted of appetizers, and I was very happy with what I had. Absolutely LOVED the beer, which our waiter suggested. The French onion soup is much improved: it used to be overly strong on the rosemary, which has been toned down. The French onion soup was excellent. My partner was disappointed, and said he wouldn't be back. I'm actually quite happy with the food, and I WILL be back!

Our visit was during Taste of Bloomington. It was very busy and I was surprised to learn I could get a table outside just before the concert on the nearby stage started. When several parties were not leaving their table after their check the server who was an absolute rockstar went above and beyond to make sure we got what we were promised. The bar staff also was great empathizing with our situation. Kudos to the server(I didn’t get her name) but she was an absolute professional and a true rock star. Lennies give her a raise immediately!

My go-to restaurant in Bloomington. Always solid. The turkey-bacon melt is the best sandwich in Bloomington.

Delicious. Ate here while in town for college tour. We had turkey bacon wrap, pizza, and fry basket...all were great. Pizza kind of thick, like pan pizza. Bathrooms clean, great service.

I was really impressed with the 5-star service we received. Thanks Ava and Devon for making it a perfect birthday lunch. We loved the spinach artichoke spread, it was much fancier than we anticipated. The Lennie's original sandwich slaps. Highly recommend this place for lunch. The wood-fired pizzas are great, too. We will definitely be back to try some other things on the menu after that experience.

Lennie’s was amazing the owner was so compassionate and kind. We had just traveled 28 hrs and were wanting some good warm food in the cold and had a furry companion with us. He made an exception and let us eat inside during the current cold weather. He even took time to tell us about the history of Lennie’s. The food was amazing from appetizer, pasta to pizza. Will definitely be returning. Lennies made us feel like home when we were miles away from ours. Thank you for all your kindness: hostess, waitress and owner.

Legendary! This place is timeless (no matter the location). I went to IU and have Lennie's in my blood from the 1990s, however, I think my wife actually likes Lennie's more, and she's from Atlanta! She first visited with me in the early 2000s, at the old location, and she confirmed for me that, this was not just a place I liked because it was in my college town, but that it was actually really, really good. On several following visits, this belief was confirmed. We had not been back in many years, and definitely not since it moved to its "new" location. We recently visited and here are the details... It still rules! #1 - It was a little late on a Friday and we stopped by before walking campus to see if the closing time of 11:00 p.m. was actually accurate or, because it was summer, would they be closing early. The manager was awesome and said, "No, we're one of the few places that actually closed at the time that it says on the door." #2 - Upon returning and sitting down at 9:30, pretty late for dinner, we sat at the bar and had amazing service from both the manager and the bartender. #3 - The food is incredible. We started with the roasted veggies with tarragon mayonnaise (the BEST). Then we had two house salads (best house dressing ever). Then we had a pizza with white sauce, artichokes, spinach, and mushrooms. All were absolutely tremendous. #4 - The beer is better! Tried several brews, from one that has been on the menu since I was a student, to the new hazy ipas. Everything is as good or better than it was when I first started coming to Lennie's. #5 - The service is tip top. They have to deal with a million, "I used to come here when..." stories, which I gave them plenty, but all staff were engaging, kind, funny, and helpful, even though we stayed until close to closing at 11:00pm. This place is still one of the greats in Bloomington, even almost 30 years after my first visit.

Everything here is wonderful. Today there were two soups available. I had them BOTH! Excellent! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And a warm, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. GO!!

We had a group is 13 people and everyone had a great time at Lennie’s!! The food/drinks were exceptional!! Also, the service was spectacular! Kelsey was a wonderful server. She was very attentive and fun. Lastly, the owner Mike was extremely welcoming and personable. I highly recommend Lennie’s!!

They have Clown Convention beer! The food is always delicious here. The service is friendly and attentive. It is a nice restaurant to go to whenever you're visiting IU. Make sure to get the Clown Convention if you're a hazy IPA fan, too!

The Stromboli was phenomenal! The rooftop beer was refreshing. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Great food, beer and service. I live about an hour and a half away but I promise I'll be back asap! Don't sleep on this gem.

One of our family favorites in Bloomington, IN. Turkey bacon sandwich is great. Other pub food is delicious. Open to families as well as bar seating. In the summer there is an outdoor seating area that is delightful. In fact we are going there for dinner tonight. Come join us. Great place to meet new friends. Being on Kirkwood is a great location. Street parking is only concern because it adds to cost.

Just perfect I got a refill without needing to ask I got a free extra cheese cup and the fries have a crust you can never get at McDonalds if you get a chance to go here... GO! It's just amazing food and there's a patio.

I had the Caribbean salad and it was amazing! Just the right proportions. Keep it on the menu.

Lenny’s is one of the few places in Bloomington that you can make a reservation so it is a nice go to. They have nice outside seating on Kirkwood Avenue. We had a great experience with Nora the hostess, who helped us change our reservation and added quite a few people to accommodate our growing party.food was served quickly.

Been years since I hit Lennie's, back when it was on 10th st near campus. This trip was different, the move to Kirkwood creates a different atmosphere, has a more cramped feel with an odd decor of stained golden oak seating frames and trim with seatback padding leftover from an 90's diner topped with loud, multicolored wall art that seems to clash with the vibe of the space. Food- the Lennies original is a must have , soso good. The Supreme style pizza with thin crust was solid as well. Food is definatly worth the parking hassles of the Kirkwood area.

Here’s what you need to know: the flavor and baking not as good as it used to be, and the location is not nearly as charming as next to eigenmann hall on 10th, but the Stromboli was enjoyable and the stout from BBC (Bloomington brewing company) was good. The pesto dipping sauce was enjoyable too. Service was very friendly but painfully slow. Overall, good nostalgic flashback and nice patio dining.

$13 - 16 for the sandwiches, and $12 for a personal pizza. So, it's a little salty, but they serve craft beers. Nice and cozy atmosphere; you have to like sitting next to people unless you're in a booth. Candles on the tables are a nice touch.

Great food! The stand out for me was the Carribean Tuna Salad with the sesame chili dressing 😋 I didn’t care for the sausage on the pizza, too salty and finely chopped. I prefer chunks. The gluten free pizza was quite tasty. All the desserts were delish!

We ordered the spinach and artichoke tortas, a make-your-own pizza with jalapeños and hot italian sausage, and the soup of the day (loaded potato soup). All three were very delicious. Service was great. The only complaint is that the IU game was only playing on one smaller TV on the other side of the restaurant.

I’m not sure why everyone rates this so well, but I thought the food was pretty basic and average. Portion size wasn’t great, and I think it was expensive for what you got. I got the portobello mushroom sandwich and it had hardly any mushrooms. Basic, I will say, though the fries were really good. My husband got the pizza, and even though it says it was brick oven I really honestly didn’t see any evidence of where it was brick. Almost like a frozen pizza thrown in the oven with added toppings thrown on top. They did have a lot of drink options, so that was nice but really no specials

The so-called “gourmet” pizza here is a complete scam. The menu claims the dough is “slowly fermented and twice baked, light and crispy,” but in reality, it’s frozen, reheated, rock hard, and raw at the same time. Totally inedible. This is an insult to real Italian food. Terrible experience.
