Experience was good every day but today 10/01/2025 i am go by drive thru around 11.30 there was a woman there. She had absolutely no manners of speaking.

Just came through the drive thru, when I order and PAY for a large fry, thats what I expect. Instead I got this. Unacceptable! The girl who bagged this was too busy on her cell phone to pay attention to what she’s doing. Sept 26, 2025 at 7:30om - @del taco if you want my money, atleast give me what I’m paying for.

Stopped in for a quick meal and it took a very long time to get our food. Couldn't use the restroom because it looked like a bomb went off, and other restroom was occupied for 45min straight.

come in stood around the front counter for a couple minutes. no greeting or interaction with anyone. ended up having to use kiosk to order food. bean and cheese burritos felt tiny for the price of almost 3 bucks each. while waiting for food an elderly man came in trying to order again standing by front counter no employee acknowledgement. he looked at the kiosk confused and ended up leaving empty-handed. also noticed the smell of sewage in parking lot.

Husband got sick from eating the burger. My son and I were fine though, I had a chicken taco and my son only ate fries... he would not touch his quesadilla.

Everything that came out of the fryer had a burnt taste to it. Some of the fries also tasted sweet, like sugar from the churros got on them. The quesadillas also had a bunch on burt cheese on it like the press hadn't been cleaned in a while. The service was fine, maybe a tad slow. But the energy coming from the kitchen was frantic and chaotic. And too top it off the kiosks are terrible.

I visit del taco prolly weekly and every single time I come my order is wrong! Every. Single. Time. There is one young lady who works at night and is a shift supervisor who is so rude!!!! She literally will treat you like you’re bothering her. There is no complaining to the GM Edgar. He has been the GM for over 10 years and is a predator! He only cares about hiring young women and could care less about his customers. I will no longer support del taco and they lost a regular customer. Today my order again was wrong!! I am done giving them my money. Get rid of your predatory manager and replace everyone with people who have actual customer service skills. I got charged for adding extra stuff to my chili cheese fries and I still received regular fries. Nothing on it I asked for but I was charged for it! I’ll be going to corporate del taco and the state to file a complaint.

The is not hot that well especially when you ordered the burritos the tortillas they're not well cooked and then when the ordered is done they take a while for them to give you your food when you get your food it's all ready kind of cold that's when you get upset stomach they need to do much better service seriously.

This place is disgusting. I watched a worker use her gloves to wipe down her counter before making my food instead of using a clean rag. The bathrooms are disgusting and had poop everywhere on the toilet no paper towels and the service is horrific. They’re lazy in there. And the tacos were full of grease.

Horrible experience, the worker made us order on kiosk and when we did she said there was no meat available for the kind of tacos we wanted, so we tried to order with the employee and she was ignoring us working the drive thru, talking the entire time confusing us about what she thought we were ordering. It got to the point where we just wanted to buy our drinks and get food elsewhere, but she WAS STILL TALKING TO THE DRIVE THRU customers. I tried telling my husband we should just leave and she got extremely snappy with us and finally spoke to us saying “you can’t just take the drinks” and when we tried explaining what was going on she went right back to talking about what kind of quesadillas they wanted in drive thru

I came all the way from Texas just to try Del Taco in California because i’ve heard so many good things. It’s an understatement to say i’m severely disappointed in the entire restaurant. To start off, based on the menu, the food looked absolutely horrid and distasteful. The chili cheese fries have absolutely no salt, no flavor, the chili isn’t real chili, which tastes like watery hot sauce. The chili cheese fries are disgusting. Do not get the chili cheese fries unless you want to sulk in your own misery. Go to the chipotle next door instead of this horrid restaurant.

I ordered about 30 dollars of food and it wasn't as good. I'm not picky with food but the fries were overcooked and very salty. When ordering, the employee at front felt like she did not care for working and was a bit annoyed. Felt uncomfortable when ordering and rushed. I tried using the sticker coin machine, and didn't get anything. I went to the front to see if I can get my 50 cents back to get a new one but got told that they can't because they don't own it. So be careful when getting stickers/tattoos or trinkets, you don't get your money back if they are empty. But overall, it felt everyone was annoyed and unsatisfied in the workplace. But the restaurant is very clean as well as the restroom but usually stinks badly. If they can't get the money back, that's alright. They should at least put a sign over the machines that say they don't work, or else it's a blatant scam.

Today was first time ever had such a bad experience. The drive thru cashier lady was very rude even when I was placing the order. She seemed bothered by even taking my order. She didn’t give me a receipt. Hands me my bags says it’s all there I drive hit red light look through bags realize my fries are missing. And my chicken soft taco is dumped in my bag not wrapped. I go back walk in say hello I didn’t get my fries with my combo and also can I have a new chicken taco plz. She starts saying what order we’re you I said idk you didn’t give me a receipt and I just came through so she searches it on screen finds it says an points at manger talk to manger I said okay can I just have my fries I paid for… she points again manger doesn’t say anything cashier starts giving dirty looks my way an points again I said excuse me can I get my fries an taco … manger said yes she give me my taco fries and receipt as the other cashier rolls her eyes and I say what’s your problem smile it’s a beautiful day. Come home start to eat open taco and it’s not even a chicken soft taco like I ordered. Customer service needs taught to that chick ! Customers are always right and if I’m not coming at you mean or wrong then why act they way she did ? She’s young and maybe needs to re watch customer service videos ! And as an ex manger of a pizza place I don’t think manger handled it well either she could have just stepped in and not let that chick speak to me so rudely

Customer service poor to say the least. Sadly, the worst part of the experience was the nasty food. Almost 20 for tasteless, old fries and poorly tasting, horribly assembled tacos. By far the worst Del Taco experience I've had. If I had never been to Del Taco before this experience would ensure I never returned. Thankfully, I realize the issue is just this Del Taco. We will not return.
