Manny was thee biggest help as soon as we came in, he helped answered any questions I had with the menu. We were so happy when the Kebab Shop opened in Canyon Country. We love their food and order all the time. We usually get their wraps that always taste on point. Always looks so tasty and tastes delicious. The manager, Juan, and the staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is always so clean. We highly recommend the kebab shop. I must say the service here is great. The food is fresh and delicious, I'm always craving it! I did have a small issue with one of my orders once, but the staff and management handled it with such professionalism and courtesy. They set a high standard and stand by it.

Since TKS opened in my neighborhood a few months ago, I have been there at least six times. The food is absolutely delicious. I have had their wraps. My favorite wrap is the steak wrap. It's very tasty and filling. The restaurant is always clean and I appreciate all of the natural light. Christine has taken our order several times. I just love her big smile and amazing customer service . She's very welcoming and knowledgeable. Really good Mediterranean place. Healthy and flavorful options. The Lamb/Beef Shwarma Wrap is great. Add some saffron rice and hummus. Trust me. The Roasted Chicken wrap is really tasty as well. I'll say it again, add the saffron rice and hummus.😁 Both the jalapeno sauce and the fire sauce add just the right amount of heat.

Our first time here & we were so impressed!! just to start FOOD WAS AMAZING SO DELICIOUS, FAST, & WARM! Everything from the floor, tables & even bathrooms were super clean! (Always is a good sign) the one who was taking our order might’ve been the manager (not sure) but he was AMAZING! He was so friendly & approachable. The menu is super easy to understand. You can get rewards with every time you come & they even do MILITARY DISCOUNT! 1000% recommend this place!!!

It was our first time here. The food was fantastic. I got the wrap which was huge and a great value for the price. The lamb was delicious and their garlic yogurt sauce is amazing. I especially loved the pita chips, pita bread, deep fried and served warm. So delicious and I can’t wait to have again.

Solid food at a fast-casual restaurant with good prices! Came here on a Saturday night and not crowded at all (kids eat free Saturdays and Sundays by the ways). I hope they get more business from the community. My husband had the lamb plate and quite enjoyed it. I had a falafel plate. Would recommend and will return!

Love the grain bowls, the greens are always so high quality, all the ingredients taste nice and fresh. Carlos and co always greet you right when you walk in, and make sure everything is right with the food.

These Kebab fries from this place are seriously next-level. They're crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Every bite is a burst of flavor that just keeps coming. I got the carved lamb and it is very delicious with the crispiness of the fries. The white and cilantro sauce make this plate so much more delicious and not dry. Also the feta cheese and pickled red onions add some touch to the visual and tastiness of the food. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out big time, especially if you love kebabs.

Awesome food! We ordered two bowls and a wrap all with carved chicken and we all loved it. The wraps are huge though so you can totally share. Fresh ingredients and super kind employees. Wanted to send a shout out to Christine who helped us. She went above and beyond and helped make our experience even better!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Kebobs and Falafels, the saffron rice and Greek salad! We had steak and chicken kabobs which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The saffron rice was outstanding. We met Omid, who I believe was the owner or manager. Very nice and helpful man who gave some good advice as some in our party were vegans. (Note saffron rice has butter in it). When we arrived at 12:30 pm the line was to the door and we left it was around the back of the door and along the side. Service was efficient. I think once the rush of the new restaurant rubs off a bit there will be adequate seating inside but as we left today all tables were occupied with many in line.

The food is fantastic. Every ingredient tastes fresh clean flavors. I like the modern atmosphere of the store modern decorations. Right now it is super busy! They get a lot of orders. A lot of demand for kebab however they seem to handle it pretty well. I will try to come back when it's less busy.

Our first time at The Kabab Shop as of 5/1/2025. We walked into this huge, clean place and we were greeted by Manny who patiently helped us through the menu, he suggested the San Diego to me and boy was that a hit. I also really liked the hummus and the baked Pita chips. I look forward to going back and trying that again. Next time though, I will ask if they can add a little extra seasoning on my protein (Steak) if possible. The place was spotless clean, the tables and chairs were comfortable. Manny did make the difference on our first visit and we do look forward to our return with friends who enjoy this type of food.

Staff is always friendly and greet you when you walk in, Carlos is chill. The greens are excellent, not a wilty lettuce in sight. Big portions too. Restaurant is clean and food is tasty.

Carlos is the G.O.A.T. My wife and I live close by and tried the Kebob Shop for the first time… The moment we walked in, Carlos greeted us with a smile and we immediately felt at home. Pleasantly surprised! High quality, Mediterranean food served in a similar fashion as chipotle. The staff was friendly, and the food was very good. I opted for the chicken kebab plate which included saffron rice, Greek salad, and sauces.. The portions were generous. I will definitely be back. It is nice to have another option for healthier faster food . My only suggestions would be that they add fresh brewed iced tea options and an outside seating area.

If you are looking for some quick and delicious Mediterranean food, you need to stop by here. The chicken, lamb or beef are all great options. Everything is well seasoned and the people are extremely nice and welcoming. Carlos took care of us today, super cool dude and very tentative to everyone in the restaurant. Update: 11/12/2025 Been back here multiple times since my last review during the soft opening. This time, it's a straight 5! Excellent food and service. The manager, Francisco, always makes sure his patrons are satisfied. Our family loves this restaurant. It's one of our favorite in the SCV area. The place is clean and well maintained. The price of the food is very reasonable. I've thrice ordered catering for a small group. Each time I serve their food, it always smacks the cravings and hunger. Kofta and beef/lamb are our faves. Super Duper wrap is a personal favorite. 🤌 Went during soft opening on Saturday afternoon. Definitely enjoyed the food and will go back to try more in the menu. Very fresh food. Beautiful interior. I hope that when they are fully operational, the soda fountain will be filled, the cutlery complete, and will have staff to wipe out the mess in the condiments area. It was a very long wait for 2 orders of food.

Everything I ordered was packed great, it was fhot , looked delicious and smelled delicious and it was delicious. ♥️ My friends enjoyed all the was prepared and told their friends. The food is amazing at TKS - I always wrap with lamb. One of my new favorite Mediterranean eateries. Service and cleanliness of tables / floors / counters was lacking, which is a shame because it was extremely slow when I walked in. Nonetheless, I’ll keep coming back for the food.

The food is amazing when they get the order right. Everything's gotten super pricey, and this place is no different, so you can easily rack up a meal for one person to $18+ alone with add-ons. I did get pointed out a sign at the pick-up counter on our second visit by an older gentleman about checking your order, but how is that completely my responsibility to make sure everything is in the bag? I can't peer into the wraps to see if your cooks did their jobs correctly. On another visit thereafter, we were checking our bags, and she lady behind the counter said, "Why do you need to check the bags? Everything's in there." In the rudest tone. Make your service make sense, cause I'm about to deck someone over service. I'm just trying to feed my family, and on multiple occasions, so far, the experience has been the same. Yall got me feeling like I'm saying hello the wrong way when I'm walking through the doors, lol.

I went with really high expectations, but got disappointed. First, I had to clean my own table before sitting to eat. The meat was dry and not very flavorful to my taste. The falafel balls are not up to par with other Middle Eastern restaurants. The tabouli was very good! The place is nice and has good atmosphere. I may try them again in the future, but try other type of protein.

I got a plate with lamb beef, rice, and hummus. For the amount I paid for a plate (close to $20), I was expecting a lot more meat (see attached picture). The lamb beef did have good flavor. There was nothing too special about the hummus but i did enjoy the green salsa they have. Also while waiting for the food, I did find the music a bit too loud inside. On a side note, they do have signs that kids do eat for the free for right now. It may be worth the price if you do have kids.

This is a nice place for Kebab. Been there few times. The chicken kebab is great if it's freshly made. The salsa's are good- white garlic and the green spicy sauce. One thing I don't like is the price for a plate of grilled chicken ($1.90), with 2 sides Fries and salad. $20, I usually add one more skewer of grilled chicken an additional $6. Bill $27. Really small side of fries and salad $27! But if you order the wrap it starts at $14 + $1.90 for skewer of grilled chicken plus it comes with rice, lettuce, hummus, and the works if you'd like. But $6 for an extra skewer of grilled chicken in a plate. And If I'm playing $6 more at least have the chicken fresh not re-grilled from chicken sitting on your counter. Save your $$ and go else where prices are more reasonable. They will notice something needs to change when people stop going.

I placed my order for pick up, asking for a 3 cups of cilantro sauce and 1 cup of OG yogurt to be added to my order, as well as a couple sets of plastic utensils. When I opened the bag, they packed nothing but dill sauce and no utensils.

One thing I don't like is the price for a plate of grilled chicken ($1.90), with 2 sides Fries and salad. $20, I usually add one more skewer of grilled chicken an additional $6. Bill $27. Really small side of fries and salad $27! But if you order the wrap it starts at $14 + $1.90 for skewer of grilled chicken plus it comes with rice, lettuce, hummus, and the works if you'd like. But $6 for an extra skewer of grilled chicken in a plate. And If I'm playing $6 more at least have the chicken fresh not re-grilled from chicken sitting on your counter. Save your $$ and go else where prices are more reasonable. They will notice something needs to change when people stop going.

That is the quality I expect and taste that I’ve become accustomed to.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures. My husband and I came here because the pictures looked great, but we were so disappointed. The beef was impossible to chew, the chicken was extremely dry, the bread was burnt, and the rice tasted like it had been sitting for days. The only thing remotely decent were the fries and sauces. To make things worse, when my husband asked to change his plate, the manager just threw some leafy greens into a bowl and tossed a few pieces of chicken on top. He even argued with my husband, claiming, 'I just made the rice this morning.' The place was also filthy—none of the tables were wiped down, and we had to clean our own table and chairs (this was around 6 pm). Never coming back here again.

One of the worst experiences I have had dinning in there with my family. There were two people a head of us who dined in as well. We all waited for more 45 mins for our food. One family cancelled their order and left. I was next to cancel my order and the cashier said “oh they are actually working on your order”. They were more focused on take out. I confronted the kitchen staff about our order and the time it took. All he said was “I am sorry there is nothing I can do” I won’t recommend this place. Horrible customer service.
