A beautiful campus with gorgeous buildings
An Amazing university with top-notch academics and Catholic-pathos!
Relaxing park like setting. CUA is comfortable with walkers , dogs and kids that are friendly. Extensive landscaped grounds, well maintained. Find the echo hill, the inspiring stones, the fountain. Perfect place for bike riding children. I
Visited for college tour. Beautiful campus convenient to city and activities. Great undergrad and graduate programs. Faculty seem very supportive.
If you have extra time in DC, visit the Basilica. It's away from the tourist circuit, but worth trekking up to Northeast DC for. Be sure to stop by the Crypt church and gift shops downstairs, in addition to admiring the architecture upstairs on the main church. It is directly accessible from Brookland metro if you walk on the path going through campus.
Son and daughter-in-law made lifelong friends here. Faith strengthened. Went on to PhD. DC great cultural environment for college students.
Wonderful campus, magnificent buildings and so much open space with such a serene peaceful vibe.
Very nice people and the facilities are top notch, a big campus where you can walk and enjoy their architecture.
Campus is more and more beautiful each year. Great place for an afternoon work the family. Thank you, CU!!
As a CUA graduate degree holder, I am very proud of my university for its spiritual commitment, its academic programs, and its attractive campus.
Plenty of free parking at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Gorgeous church!
Very nice campus with roving security for everyone's safety. It's one of the best in the DC area.
My favorite place of worship while visiting DC 12 years ago...walking around the university right after afternoon holy mass....
This is the oldest and greatest of the Catholic Universities in this country. Visit the intimate chapel to be transported back in time to the late 1800s, since nothing has been changed.
Such a beautiful place to visit! There is food, coffee, and bathrooms open in the student center.
The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies has great progress for working professionals. They will have a full MBA program for the 2017/2018 school year.
Beautiful campus. Check out the National Basilica there too.
Wonderful experience in the Easter vigil, the cathedral was well organized and it kept the solemnity of the mass.
Such a beautiful serene place of God, with beautiful music
Scrolling through google maps I couldn’t help but find this beautiful campus. Taking a virtual walk through it, I found peace and serenity in my heart, whether it was a work of the all mighty lord or my own shortcomings in getting out of my house, I will forever be left in awe of this wonderful campus <3
Beautiful! We went to a 7am mass in the Crypt Church, went to Mt. Vernon then drove back to explore the Cathedral. We didnt see all we wanted in one day. Loved the mix of students, visitors & regular parishioners at Mass. Very welcoming all around. I've been to churches in Europe & this ranks right up there. Going back next summer.
The Catholic University of America, anchored at its sprawling and serene campus at 620 Michigan Ave NE, is consistently portrayed in my community and professional circles as a unique crossroads of timeless tradition and modern intellectual discovery. From numerous thoughtful exchanges with alumni and local scholars, it is merytorically evident that CUA offers a substantive and deeply supportive environment, frequently lauded by my acquaintances for its exceptional ability to integrate rigorous classical philosophy with high-level research in fields like architecture, social work, and canon law. It is truly commendable to observe how the institution maintains such a transparent and respectful dedication to its foundational values while actively engaging with the contemporary challenges of the nation's capital, a quality that many people I know personally cite as the defining reason for the school’s lasting influence. Ultimately, in the collective view of informed D.C. residents, the university stands as a distinguished hallmark of moral and academic leadership, rightfully respected for its elegant ability to foster a community of scholars who are as ethically grounded as they are intellectually ambitious.
Aafe parking street with the police always around
Wow, really amazing building. Starting from the design, architecture, neatness, and beauty of the buildings, it’s remarkable.
Beautiful campus. Would be a little easier if there were maps randomly placed to guide anyone who comes to visit.
Pryzbyla Center is a spacious conference facility. Event planners take note! Nice accommodations for vendors at today's 9-5p HEALTHY HOMES exhibition.
Loving their choirs performance on EWTN. Beautiful, very well orchestrated, professional and well dressed. Thank you for making my night ending perfectly Beautiful voice’s

Good university, nice ambience and views
Great place with beautiful architecture
a quiet place
Nice walkable campus
great.
Beautiful campus, top notch philosophy program, mostly beautiful buildings.
Great location for photo walks. Beautiful grounds.
Very nice field and facilities, but very limited parking for big events. Great atmosphere, clean bathrooms, and nice concessions area.
Beautiful green campus, friendly people, stunning shrine. Plan on spending 3 hours just looking at the Cathedral. Try lunch at Busboys and Poets across the street.
Don't. Host. Any. Events. Here. They didnt accommodate dietary needs. They quickly lock meeting doors. The beds are nicer in prison. The campus is confusing.
Great campus, and the instructor's really push you as well as provide excellent support.
Very small, but has some relatively strong departments. Lovely place and location.
Cool campus to walk around, and took the Metro here, so that was really convenient.
I am a healthcare traveler from New Jersey, working at MedSTAR hospital for a few months and noticed this beautiful campus not far, so spent a few hours walking around and enjoying the architecture, the memorial statues and the Basilica Cathedral. Seems like a great location with the easy access from several points and if you’re looking for a great place to do a walk or explore, definitely worth your time to visit this location. Looking forward to it touring the inside of the Basilica next time I visit there. Definitely opportunities for some awesome photos.
Nice campus, no parking, alot of traffic
I won't recommend if you are an international student. Please search for Graduate Sponsorship Rankings By Alma Mater and then decide if you would like to apply.
Please take note of the Director of Admissions, very poorly selected with little class and very rough around the edges
I went here for my freshman year for nursing. One of the reasons I picked the school was for the early clinical experience, except once I got there they announced they changed the entire program with less clinicals. Also, the dorms were DISGUSTING, there were cockroaches in our bathroom and the entire place smelled. Not a safe area, someone got mugged on campus the first week. The cafeteria food was awful, the social scene was awful.. one of the worst years of my life.
Terrible area surrounding the campus. Baseball coach is highly unethical. Swears (F Bombs) all the time to his coaches and kids. New Athletic Director let him get away with it. The baseball coach is a psycho and should be fired. And this is the example they set at a Catholic Institution!! They should be ashamed of themselves!
I am frustrated and disappointment regarding my reservation at your Catholic University location for 6:00 PM on July 3rd. I arrived early at 5:35 PM, only to find that the location was closed. I had made this reservation well in advance, back in February, and received no prior communication notifying me of any early closure or schedule change. I find it unacceptable that there was no courtesy call, email, or alert to inform me of this. When I contacted customer service, I was directed to another location—however, by the time I arrived, which was nearly 6:00 PM, that location was sold out (5810 Baltimore Ave). This not only wasted a significant amount of my time but also caused me to spend $39 on Uber transportation, only to be left without a vehicle and with no proper resolution.
I met this one student, not saying the name or anything but was really rude to me. 1 stars Section. 1.
