Hidden inside some shops (entrance from Calle 12) this pizza place is a gem of Bogota. Great food, they serve BBC beer on tap, perfect to sit together with friends!

Went a friend there for lunch. The atmosphere was so cool. The staff were very thoughtful and attentive. And the food was on point.

This was the best restaurant we tried in Bogota. A bit on the expensive side for Colombia but not outrageous, however totally worth it. We arrived after caught by a heavy rain and they accommodated us as close to the kitchen as possible :) Food is great and they have a live band playing really nice. The vibe is good, would totally recommend just know it is quite busy so waiting times to get your drinks may be at times a bit lengthy.

Great restaurant! To start an amazing negroni! The entrée I recomend corriente (garlic shrimp with passion fruit sauce). Main plate, my wife asked Tomas (risoto with shrimp, lagostine and mushrooms), really really good. I got the saumon, good, but not amazing. A regular glass of white wine was very good too. Highly recommended!!!!

I have been there 3 times. Tasted different dishes from the menu and so far really good meals, live music outstanding, waiting time was good. On busy days is recommended to make a reservation. Take in mind that entrance is through a hall surrounded by emeralds shops

Fantastic food. Lived in Italy for 3 years and our meals were on par with top Roman restaurants. Drinks were really well made with balanced flavours.

At first glance the entrance does not reflect the beautiful place MADRE is so you get surprised! We ordered a Pez Globo Pizza and BBQ Ribs (they only have Ribs on Tuesday and Sunday). The waiter was awesome, he had really good recommendations and he was ready for us all the time. ¡The place was outstanding! Prices goes from $20.000s - $40.000s colombian pesos (around usd$6 - usd$12) per person not including beverages.

If you are looking for upscale authentic napoleon food - this is the place. It’s not local Colombian cuisine.

What a Find! Delicious Food and Great Atmosphere! Do not be put off by the location of this fantastic pizza-focused restaurant. You have to enter through a corridor of small shops, so it appears that there Is not a restaurant or anything of note. At night, a guard must unlock a gate to let you into the corridor, which made us question what kind of place we were getting ourselves into. Well, that odd entrance and a pathway led to a fantastic restaurant! Pizzería Madre is a quirky, but lovely restaurant, with a wood-fired pizza oven. The menu has a number of salads and pasta options, in addition to plenty of types of pizza, made to order. The wine list was short, but quite good, with excellent, reasonably priced bottles of Argentinian Malbec, for example. They featured a full bar, as well, for cocktails and beer. We shared a salad of mixed greens, avocados, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and almonds, which was excellent, with fresh ingredients that were full of flavor. The two of shared a medium-sized pizza that was topped with arugula, Iberian ham, and large slices of Parmesan cheese – it was terrific. We had an excellent bottle of Malbec to accompany our meal. Pizzería Madre is a gem. What a find!

I stopped here twice, once for pizza, the other time for coffee and something sweet - though that something sweet was the best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted! This is a big and very smartly renovated space, complete with a very imperious cat. Totally recommended.

We started with a super delicious and generous, shrimp salad, and then I got the pork knuckle and lentils special that they served twice a week. It was honestly one of the most delicious bites. I’ve had in Columbia and could’ve fed a small family 😝 Definitely recommend the spot if you’re in the center .

I knew the pizza was gonna be good when I saw the oven. The burger was pretty heavy. But the sandwhiches were awesome. Def recommend sharing a pizza and getting something for yourself.

They have a great pizza oven, home craft cocktails (I recommend the Hendricks & Lulo cocktail), and the steak is juicy & delicious (I'd go with Don Juan). I love that they bring authentic Colombian cuisine with a modern and open kitchen/bar concept. They close pretty early, I think last call is around 4:15pm.

Besidas that, this restauran is a gem and is worth the effor, go for lunch at noon or a little bit late. The live music, ambience and food are top notch. The "Tinto de Verano", the pizas and the salmon were amazing and on point.

Cute place hidden in the courtyard of a building in emerald district. Nice interior design, very attentive and friendly staff, food was very good too 😊. I liked the cocktails a lot but they could improve the serving time as we waited quite a bit for them. The weird thing about this place is that the bathroom ceiling is a mirror, so other people can look at you while you’re doing your business 🤣. Not sure who thought this is a good idea 🧐

Aesthetic, a great option to eat in the downtown Bogotá, the entrance is through a jewelry center. As for the menu, they have a variety of options, from catch of the day, meat, pizzas, salads and more, everything we tried was delicious.

Food was decent, little overpriced. Service horrible, waitress spilled olive oil over me, didn’t say sorry just walked away and placed an extra paper napkin on the table without saying anything. Atmosphere is nice, koffie is nice even though i got a single expresso and ordered a double. There is no service at the bar to wait for your table. Its messy badly managed, little skilled but it works because its hyped. Wont come again, far better options for better price jn bogota.

Great ambiance, strong drinks, so so service. A friend of mine highly recommended this place, hard to find but beautiful. Got there on lunch rush and had no reservation but was advised to wait. Cocktail took a while to arrive and they seated some walk ins before me. Once seated had my cocktail and ordered the steak medium but was well done. Sent it back and could feel the eyes of the cooks watching over me and didn't send it back even though twas 3/4. They had live music that was lovely, but it can get a bit loud. I might come back to try something different and with someone else. I've read the reviews and apparently I'm not the only one who's had problems with overcooked steak.
