A 22 euros.
Every time we return to this restaurant, the experience surpasses the previous one. The food is unbeatable, and the service is on par with the cuisine. Cleanliness is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the rice dishes are delicious. Thank you, see you soon!
This is great place Thanks to Luis, on of the best. Great food and nice service. Food you have to try.
We ate at La Nueva Taberna and the experience was very good. We tried rice with lobster, beef tenderloin, and clams with Pedro Ximénez sauce, which had a very original touch. Everything was quite good, and the quality of the products is evident. The service was excellent: fast, friendly, and very attentive at all times. It's truly a pleasure when, in addition to good food, you also find such excellent service. For dessert, we ordered a chocolate cake, a cheesecake, and a dulce de leche cake. All were delicious and perfect to round off the meal. I was eager to try some of their more original rice dishes, such as the sirloin with beef or the pork cheek with goat cheese, which looked spectacular. Overall, a highly recommended experience. Good products, good service, and a rice menu worth exploring.
Today, after many years of enjoying their rice dishes, I'm finally writing a review because they deserve it. The lobster rice is extraordinary, and I love it. Today, I finally took my family to try it. It's meant for two, but it feeds four, and it costs around €45. They also do rice dishes to take away, and the braised pork cheek with goat cheese is fantastic. We also really enjoy their tapas on the terrace. The mixed croquettes are delicious, as are the broken eggs, the homemade bread, and various other tapas. Everything is truly excellent, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes.
The service was super friendly and super fast, the food was cooked to perfection, not cold at all because it came quickly. We ordered several things: house salad, a cheese plate, scrambled eggs with ham, scrambled eggs with shrimp, and rice with cheeks and goat cheese that was a pure spectacle. It's been a while since I've tried such good rice. I'll definitely go back.
Everything was absolutely fantastic. We went on Good Friday without a reservation, we sat outside so we could order tapas, and they were perfect. We ended up trying the rice dish the couple next to us were having... Everything was delicious, honestly. The little pastries were a 10/10. The brioche bread was a 10/10. The calamari croquettes were a 10/10. The waffle had a spectacular flavor; I have to say the edges got burnt and it was a shame to have to remove them, but otherwise, it was a 10/10. The waiters/waitresses were a 10/10. Thank you for everything.
Today we ate at "La Nueva Taberna" in Bormujos. A spectacular place to taste one of the best rice dishes in Seville and the entire province, but this time we opted for a different tapa: 1. A portion of homemade cocretas (coconuts), which were delicious. 2. A tapa of very fresh Russian salad. 3. A tapa of cuttlefish that could be split with just a fork. Spectacular. 4. A tapa of canquetada (a type of canned fish). Very well presented. Very good. 5. A tapa of perfectly cooked tuna with very tasty pasta. 6. A tapa of waffles with pringa and mint aioli, exquisite. Total 35.50 for two people. I recommend it.
Everything is delicious. The rice is cooked to perfection and very tasty. The croquettes are obviously homemade; they're delicious. The service is impeccable. They have a wide variety of dishes and tapas, but the rice dishes are the most recommended. Everything is 10/10, and at a very good price.
The finest paella I have ever had and plenty of it. 🪂
I've been several times over the years, and I like to go back; my experience with the food has always been good. This time we had rice with pork cheeks and red pork for two, plus a tapa of black pudding, for about 40 euros. As with everything in life, there are things to improve. Being aware of this will help the new tavern improve in some areas. The staff who served me were friendly, which I appreciated.
First of all, I would like to thank Luis, the gentleman who served us, for his professionalism and kindness. Now, let's start by evaluating his dishes. To start, we ordered a tapa of potatoes with Roquefort cheese. The cheese was very soft and we liked it. A brioche of pork cheeks, which, to our taste, had been toasted too much and didn't look or taste like brioche; it looked like two slices of a normal, hard, toasted loaf of bread. Our mistake was not to mention it before eating so they could have changed it for us, as the waiter Luis told us. We also had a tapa of octopus salad, which, to be honest, we didn't like very much, but as I always say, it's all a matter of taste! And to finish, the majestic pork cheek rice with cheese was beyond praise. It was amazing. Something else I'd also like to highlight is that they gave us two bags of breadsticks and a piece of stale bread, which, of course, they changed for something super soft, just as it should be! Only the rice gets 5 stars, but the whole experience is appreciated. Ultimately, I would recommend it for the wonderful rice and Luis's excellent service. The best thing about La Nueva Taberna. Thank you, and until next time.
Good food right on the main street of Bormujos. They have an indoor dining room and an indoor terrace, although reservations are essential if you want to go on a weekend due to high demand. The menu is quite varied, although their specialty is rice dishes, which you can order for pickup and take home in the paella pan or earthenware bowl for an extra fee that is refunded when you return it. Highly recommended. The only downside is that the waiters are very inexperienced, at least the three who served us when we were there. This means you have to be the one asking for anything, instead of them taking your order, and you have to wait for things like bread, which instead of being brought out when the drinks arrive, was brought after we had already ordered our food, or for dishes to share, which we had to wait for while the rice dishes cooled down on the table.
