After a few fancy meals while visiting Boulder, I was craving real food in a real low key establishment. This market is exactly that! Superb and really fresh ingredients + a friendly gentleman working made for the best last meal alongside my mom and sister during our trip to Boulder. I will be back. FOR SURE.

This store gives me a feeling of walking into a middle east bazaar. Today's my last day in Boulder, and the owner gave me one pistachio baklava for free. Why am I getting free food everywhere in Boulder 😅 Do I look like so kind? Or people like this small business owner in Boulder love to pass around love 💕? You guys taught me how to serve the community, how to stand with people. And I'll be passing this spirit around wherever I am.🥲💫❤️💛🩵💚

The gyros are bomb. Definitely coming back

I started coming here recently just to try the gyros..... Can somebody help me find the rock that I've been living under? Absolutely wonderful gyros at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Best option we have found in Colorado for middle eastern food. Tons of variety and options. It is a family run business so it feels nice to be able to support such a small business and the food take out options are pretty solid too. We had the vegetarian plate as well as the chicken shawarma plate. We plan to use their catering for an upcoming event based on how tasty that was.

Med Market is a hidden gem offering well-priced, hearty meals that deliver on taste. Located in a market with international Mediterranean ingredients, it has a simple, unpretentious vibe. Their olives, tasting like a family secret recipe, are a highlight. Perfect for anyone seeking authentic flavors without the fuss.

My favorite gyros in Boulder for great prices! Good sides, desserts, and a great selection of Mediterranean items for sale in the shop as well. Can be a longer wait at busy times. Edit: Seven years later, prices are still great, sandwiches are still delicious!

Picked up a gyro, It was a good portion and wasn't stingy on the meat. A picture tells a thousand words. I can't show you the whole sandwich because I ate half before I could post the review.

Great place for eat in or take home. Gyro plate is awesome, made fresh, loads of meat, lots of sauce, very messy, and piping hot fries. Small grocery with everything from yogurt drink to various coffees, including Turkish coffee, to packaged meats, Middle Eastern spices, pepper spreads, fresh baklava, and lots more. Park nearby in the front or along the road. My go to place when I’m in town.

The young man who made my gyro should get a raise! 5 out of 5, quick service, absolutely loved it!

This Deli has been here over 11 years. Always good, and fair prices. This store IS fully stocked: Bosnian, Turkish, Greek and Middle Eastern Foods Sold here. Also Hookahs, incense, and other nice, hard to find sweet foods and GIFT ideas. You may forget you are in Boulder....get spanked with something different in taste. I got the Falalfel with no feta. Gobbled it down in no time. Service is friendly and inviting. The feel is a neighborhood store.

Best made falafel in Boulder. Fresh salad and bread with a very nice mint tea. Thank you for showing up today. 💯💪❤️

Everything I've had from here has been absolutely fantastic. Best Gyro hands down; the spanakopita and dolmas were also some of our favorites here. Will definitely be back, also there was such a wide variety of products in the groceries, we can't wait to come back and stock up! I really want a huge tub of the hummus! Take a look at this amazing baklava!

L

Salem is a fantastic cook and it’s very educational about the store products. Oh, and the food is absolutely amazing. The dolmas blew my mind. I live in the mountains and will drive down here for a great meal any day.

Most authentic gyros around and great shop while you wait

Best gyros in my entire life. Addicted since before they showed any menu or anything. The most authentic and best food ever hands down. Thank Goodness Boulder still has a real "hole the wall" that offers up real, good, wholesome, and even low-cost food.

I am Lebanese and am so glad I found this place. I shop there for any Lebanese or Middle Eastern cheeses, spices, and other ingredients, and it’s so great to have flavors that remind me of home. We also had our baby shower catered by the Mediterranean Market and the food was absolutely delicious! The portions were extremely generous, and everyone loved all of the different dishes. It’s been hard to find authentic flavors in Boulder but this place hits the spot. The owner and everyone there are super friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this place for shopping for Middle Eastern items, and for either catering events or just for lunch.

Off the beaten path, and it’s the best you’re going to ever get. Gyros are incredible - and the food is always spot on and consistent. The Baklava is outstanding. Love the grocery items - and the counter staff are the nicest dudes ever. This place is reason 1 million why I love living in Boulder.

Best gyros I've ever had! I regularly drive across town when I'm working in Boulder just to eat here, and make a point to stop for lunch every time I come to town. A true hidden gem!

I absolutely love this market and deli! This is my go to place for purchasing pita, Greek olive oil, and hard to find item like fava beans. The owner and his son are very helpful and the prices are quite reasonable. Then there is the prepared food, which is excellent! The gyros and the vegetarian platter are my favorites. I no longer work in Boulder but I make a trip over there when I can just to visit the Mediterranean Market and Deli to stock up on my favorite items.

The gyros here are phenomenal. Made right there in front of you, sauced to perfection; I can't recommend the falafel gyro enough. It is very well spiced and has a delicious spicy sauce. The portions are large and the fries are beautifully battered. Lindsey is a damned master at the grill and makes the best gyros around. And then there's the grocery store. With a great selection of Mediterranean foods, spices, and sauces. Definitely coming back here every week.

The food is what you'd expect and a little more. The staff, though, are the best part. I walked in with a friend during some financial troubles and we grabbed like 5 things. Card declined and we went to put some things back. The associate then immediately started making small talk and (in hindsight they were probably making sure we were honest) they proceeded to pay for our extra items themselves. Just the kindest people you've ever met every time. Place smells homely too so 11/10

I love this place! I always feel like I have travelled somewhere exotic when I enter here. The deli foods are freshly made with care. The grocery is small and limited but the ingredients are very high quality. They have an excellent selection of teas. The Ahmad Earl Grey is as good as any Earl Grey I have tried, and I am quite picky. I will definitely buy olive oil here the next time I run out. In general, I trust their product selection more than the chain stores. Every time I visit I like to try out something new, whether it be a delectable sweet or an interesting soup or dairy product that I haven't used before. There are so many fascinating desserts from multiple countries. Many are not as sweet as American desserts, which is nice. The falafel and gyro sandwiches at the deli are fantastic. The proprietor is kind and helpful. If he doesn't have what I am seeking, he always has interesting suggestions. I highly recommend this place.

Great food, and amazing prices.... I feel like it can be hard to find a good lunch for less than $10 in Boulder but this place his it. Big selection of cheeses & olives.... Most importantly, probably the best gyro I’ve ever had.... The service is fast and friendly, definitely a hidden gem

One of my favorite lunch spots in Boulder. Great service, and amazing food. The gyro is the best in town. Great selection of other items too. I highly recommend this deli!

My goodness, where have I been to not know about Med Market the last decade I’ve been in Boulder 🤦‍♂️ delicious food, great low prices, and a super kind staff. Do yourself a favor and get the gyro combination plate!!!

E

Great food at a great price! Ordered online and when I arrived there was only one person working behind the counter, so I wasn't sure my food would be ready (since there was a line of 6+ people in front of me). But sure enough, food was ready and tasty. I highly recommend the gyro. They go heavy on the sauce, so if you don't want something messy, I would ask for a bit lighter. The Spinach and Cheese Samosa were okay, I think next time I'll try the Veggie as there was a LOT of spinach in the spinach ones. I'm sure that's great for most, I was just hoping for more cheese! I will definitely be back.

I had a good time shopping here. The cashier is very helpful and answered all my questions. They have a lot of options to pick from. I also enjoyed food from their deli.

I’ve lived in boulder for 7 years and this is the best gyro shop I’ve found around. The people who work here are always really kind and the baklava is good too. If you need any Mediterranean ingredients this is the shop for you!

Absolutely love this place! Packed with delicacies from authentic pomegranate molasses to genuine halva, various types of fava beans (Frozen, dried and canned), and even delicious gluten-free flatbread!

C

This is a wonderful family run establishment and the gyro here is soo good! The price can’t be beat for the amount of food you get. I think about this meal often and I can’t wait to get it again. Also, I definitely recommend adding the feta to just about anything on the menu!

The falafel sandwich was really good! Was going to take a photo, but i ate it up way too quickly! This is my 3rd time here and its always good

I am so happy I found this place ! Amazing market with foods from all over the mediterranean and middle east, I can easily shop here now for my specialty items. Wonderful selection of desserts, meats, spices, sauces, olive oil, coffee and tea. Their deli is also so amazing, great falafel, dolmas, and gyro wraps. The family who owns it was so welcoming and I can’t wait to have this as part of my weekly grocery haul.

Inside is a lil sketchy, but the food is outstanding! Super delicious meal under $20. Definitely recommend the gyros and Greek salad. Even though the salad is just a few ingredients, it's light and fresh. Meat on the gyros is tender and seasoned to perfection! The baklava melts in your mouth with a good level of sweetness. Highly recommend the food while you shop for other items.

Just discovered this place and I’m obsessed. Mediterranean food is my comfort food and this is quite authentic. They have my favorite juice from Greece and the baklava is perfect. I’ll be going every weekend before work.

The food is amazing, the prices are right, and the staff is super friendly. It's cheap for Boulder!!! I love the staff, they are so kind.

This place and bovas are about as close as you can get to a bodega in Boulder. I'm a huge fan of Gyros, and when the guys at Med Market make it right, it is 100% the best gyro in town. It's also half the price of places like Kalitas, and the guy behind the register will actually pay attention to you as a customer. I wish I could give these guys more than 5 stars. It's definitely a hole in the wall, but these guys just do it better than anyone else in the boulder area. Im always surprised there arent more people in there when i go in. Great food, better people. Keep up the good work guys.

an absolute hidden gem. $9 for the best gyro sandwich packed with meat, $1 for baklava, the best fries and hospitality. sad i didn't know about this place sooner. will definitely be coming by more often!

A
Aidan Wall

Amazing food for a great value! The staff is so friendly and kind, my only complaint is that I wish they were open later so I could eat their food more often! I recommend all of the wraps. Their baklava was the best I’ve ever had. I also recommend browsing the rest of their market, so many unique foods from the Mediterranean!

Genuinely the best gyro’s ive ever had. Been eating here for almost 10 years now when i can. Dont live in boulder anymore unfortunately but i always try to come by when im feeling down or in town. The perfect soul food. A gyro and some ginger beer is the best!

H

Excellent customer service. The selection in grocery is great, and food is better than anywhere else in Colorado.

Love, love, love! The food here is incredibly delicious. The vibe inside is so authentic and the owners are so lovely and kind. I also love browsing the market while waiting for my gyro. 100/10.

The gyros are soooo flavorful, best in the area by far, the prices are super reasonable, making it easier to eat here frequently, and the owners are very polite. Every time I come here, I buy a new treat from the market, since they import things from all over the world. Today, it was a delicious candy bar from Bulgaria!

s
sera keahon

The best food for the best price in Boulder! The Gyros and the chicken shawarma sandwich’s are amazing. The staff are also some of the kindest people I know! You have to stop in if you’re in the area, I drive 30 mins from Nederland just to get their food!

S
Soryn Middlebrook

My husband and I just scarffed down Gyros from here and unanimously agree they were the best gyros we have ever had. I'm kind of devastated that we live 45 minutes away bc I would be coming here all of the time

The service and quality at this shop/restaurant are excellent. The place is clean and well-organized. I was particularly impressed by the owner's son (Taha), who professionally assists his father in greeting customers, preparing food, and offering help when needed. Their teamwork creates a welcoming and trusting atmosphere.

S
Scott Ehrlich

Food was great and the guy behind the counter was very nice, but he was the only one there and service was a little slow. I ordered via the Yelp app, but the tablet they get the order on wasn't working, so keep that in mind. Overall, I look forward to going again.

J
Jeannine Kruenegel

My gyro salad was pretty good but the meat and pita were a little burned. It's an interesting shop.

A
Amir Gazibara

This review is just the market, didn't order food. This place is horrible like 90% of the products I purchased were all expired, way pass their dates, foods that should have been soft were harder than a rock. Stay away from this market. Edited the post with more pics of products that are all expired with their dates since the owner doesn't know how to take accountability.
