N B Wing Wong Bowery Reviews
Amazing Cantonese food in classic Manhattan Chinatown setting. Exactly what you want in an NYC Chinatown restaurant! Everything hit, from the BBQ Char Sui Pork, Roast Pig, and Roast Duck standards (perfect texture, deep roasted flavors, amazing prices!) to the chow fun and Singapore noodles. The surprise favorite might have been the sweet and sour pork chop! Not something I typically order but my friend said they do it differently here and he wasn’t kidding! Perfectly lightly fried and crispy exterior, tender and juicy chew, and sauce that’s not too sweet! Will order this again here for sure and can’t wait to come back!
Behind this unassuming storefront is a hidden gem of a restaurant serving up delicious traditional Cantonese food. From the triple platter of duck/chicken/roast pork, to the beef chow fun, to the beef and Chinese broccoli, everything was fantastic. The star of the show, however, was the sweet and sour pork. It was the best I've ever had. It had a crisp outer skin and somehow a tender melt-in-your-mouth center, coated with the perfect mix of tangy and sweet. The quality is that of a fancier restaurant at hole in the wall prices. Definitely worth the visit!
Delicious char siu and soy sauce chicken. Portions are bigger for dine-in but expect to pay tip.
Traditional Cantonese food, excellent flavors and good portions in this no frills, hole in the wall restaurant. They'll have your typical Chinese American dishes, but the Cantonese tastes from noodles, fish/seafood, and especially the roasted and BBQ meats are delicious. Bring cash, it's Chinatown!
This is my go-to spot for all Cantonese breakfast and lunch dishes. The congee is always smooth, piping hot and stuffed with flavorful ingredients depending which one you order. Fried doughnut (youtiao) with the rice roll wrapped around it is always crunchy on the inside and soft and chewy on the outside. That pairs so well with chili oil too. Service is fine! It’s quick and easy. You’re there to enjoy the food and the efficiency in its delivery, much less about the overall service experience. However the owner is very involved and this restaurant is a great place.
The cantonese food here is just amazing!! Great size portions and the flavors are just out of this world! Came here with my friends and it will not be the last! Definitely check out this place when your in the Chinatown area!
Follow the elders... If there are no elderly folks eating in the place then there must be something up. You are still able to get 2 BBQ meats over rice with a fried egg for under $10. 🔥
Grabbing takeout lunch from NB Wing Wong is absolutely amazing and fulfilling. The meats and rice are of the highest quality, and the service never fails to bring a smile. Chinese BBQ is definitely the way to go!
By far my favorite place to get Chinese. Great food, great prices (more food for less than a Chipotle bowl), and super chill spot. But be warned, only cash. No cards.
If you enjoy Cantanese food then I highly recommend NB Wing Wong for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My dad is 90 years old and travels by subway for take-out here at least once a week. Also, I give it a 5-star for value. Can get a tasty meal here for under $10 before tax/tip.

What a gem of a restaurant with delicious authentic food. I really loved the sweet and sour pork chop and the roast meats!
The taste combinations work together perfectly. The spot shows careful style and cleanliness. Their kitchen produces winning dishes. The menu covers breakfast to dinner and staff covers all your needs. I've been converted completely.
Chinese food prepared with tradition and care. Generous portions, authentic flavors, hole-in-the-wall aesthetic. I really love this restaurant.

Food was really good, roasted duck was very flavorful, and the wonton noodle soup was A+. Would definitely come here again. Service was good too.

My boyfriend and I ate here after the Lunar New Year Parade. They were packed yet accommodating. This was our first time and the food was delicious. I got the beef pan fried noodles and he got the roast pork over rice. We were both glad with the meal and happy we checked out this place.
Great small hole in the wall Cantonese restaurant with Cantonese barbecue! Note, place is open very early for Chinatown around 8 or so and such they close by around 8pm or so. I went with 2 friends and ordered 4 dishes- fried flounder, sweet and sour pork chops, stir fried Chinese broccoli and beef and stir fried eggs with shrimp. Portions are huge and service is fast and the food is great. Bathroom is downstairs so not really wheelchair friendly. Take out and dine in are both available.
Good sized portions in a large takeout container. Had Beef with Eggplant over rice to go which was a little light on the sauce, but was much more healthy overall. Waited about 5 minutes and the meal was done. Quick in and out.
Friendly staff with fast service. Prices are decent. Good steamed rice rolls and congee.
This place can be described "friendly comfort food"..today I order pickle vegetables stir fry with fish fillet and bitter gourd stir fry with beef ..taste good , not salty nor oily so will go back again..thank you

Dined-in today. The food is delicious and affordable. Char siew dishes tasted great! However, I have to agree with some of the reviews regarding their customer service, absolutely horrifying experience. They do not let customers tip at their discretion and they harassed me into giving more tips despite their lack of service, with whatever minimal service they provided lacking the kind of service you would tip for at any typical restaurant, and their overuse of plastic containers (yes, everything was plastic plastic plastic, did not feel good about the crazy amount of waste that I contributed just for one simple meal.) Overall, 3 stars just for the good food. There are lots of other similar restaurants nearby to choose from that might make better choices on how they run their businesses.
