Fall in love at first visit! Super cozy little place, strawberry-filled atmosphere, delicious piadina! It's right on the road, nestled in the woods, two minutes from a beautiful beach on the Trebbia! Stopping here is truly a pleasure...
I was really impressed by this place: an environment with attention to the smallest details, from the furnishings to the welcoming atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at ease. The staff is extremely kind, professional and always smiling, ready to satisfy every need with courtesy and discretion. And the food? Simply delicious. Well presented and excellent dishes. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back!
Five of us, avid motorcyclists, were out for fun on these winding roads, and we stopped at this inviting place. We ordered five sandwiches filled with porchetta and cooked onion. I've never had a better sandwich than this in 55 years of riding. Fabulous. Fantastic. The lady who served us, who I believe also owns the place, was incredibly nice and kind. Truly cheerful. I already miss her charm. If you're passing this road and it's close to lunchtime, stop by. Beautiful location overlooking the Trebbia River. "Strawberry" is everywhere, and I love it. I loved this FRAGOLOSO place. Nothing is left to chance, even the bathroom, which is spectacular. Friendly, helpful, and quick. The porchetta and caramelized onion sandwich was worth a second try. A relaxing stop on a motorcycle tour of the Trebbia Valley, with too many, too many bikes. Highly recommended.

After winding uphill from Varzi and through the woods, we finally arrived at this small but welcoming place! Friendly staff, good gelato, sandwiches, and beers... just a few things, but quality! The location is beautiful on the Trebbia, nestled in the woods, with convenient parking along the main road. The place is tastefully and cheerfully decorated, with a strawberry theme throughout, even in the bathroom! Seating is arranged on multiple levels. Just a few steps away, you can cool off in the crystal-clear waters of the Trebbia. Tackling the winding roads is worth it! I'll definitely be back!
On August 16th, my husband, my son, and I went to the river. Around 12:00, we decided to grab a bite to eat at the bar. Moral of the story: all the takeaway sandwiches were sold out. There was no chance of getting a gluten-free piadina. And anyone who came to the bar for a snack was told there would be an hour wait! Is it possible that, knowing these are days when they can make money, they can't offer even a minimal level of service? Is it possible that you have to wait an hour for a sandwich? Not to mention the bar's fridge with very little selection of beers or soft drinks. Years before, I had enjoyed a good gluten-free piadina. Now, that's unthinkable. I'm truly sorry that in a place that should be a point of reference (there's nothing for miles) for tourists, especially in August, the only response was "wait an hour for a sandwich."
I make piadinas better at home. At least they wouldn't charge so much. Or they'd make them better. The place is nice.
