Baja Fish Tacos Brea Reviews
First time at this location. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance is peaceful. What I mean with this is that if there is music is soft enough to ignore it and have a conversation, and the televisions are muted. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. The food was good. I ordered tow enchilada combination plate and the meats (asada and chicken) were really good. Everyone else said their food was really good too. My daughter orders the salad with the smaller portion of chicken. Since they don’t have a kid menu, they should have kid size options. My grandson loves their beans and rice, but half of it goes to waste.
The Ensenada style fish is delicious! Haven't had a bad meal yet. You get a lot of food for the price. The tacos really hit the spot and are hearty.
I practically come here once a week. Entire staff is friendly, food is consistent. It’s more of a gentrified style of Mexican food in my opinion, but it’s actually good! We get the Ensenada Style Tacos, Asada Tacos, Green Salsa, Chips and Guacamole. Would recommend to all.
Great place! cool outdoor patio with ceiling fans...the fish tacos ( ensenada) are the best! Their pinto beans and rice are the best anywhere...they keep raising their prices but it's so good...I guess I can pay a little more
The food is clean, the ingredients are fresh, the food is plentiful and very delicious, and the staff are especially friendly. Asada tacos are made with steak, the meat is tender and delicious, and there is a separate seasoning section, so it is very convenient. The outdoor seating is very spacious, so you can bring your dog.
There is no better place to get delicious, fresh and quality fish tacos! My family and I come here at least once a month and we all love it! The staff is always so friendly and attentive. They have a wonderful salsa bar, but best of all is that they offer chiles toreados for free.
Always delicious food. I always get the two taco combo with the Ensenada tacos and double rice. Their tortilla chips and salsa are great, too. The red one is too spicy for me, so I usually choose the roasted tomatillo salsa
The menu is slightly confusing, but staff is willing to answer all questions as best they can. Prices are on the high side for Mexican food. An à la carte burrito can reach close to $18.00 if you're not paying attention. Now all that being said, here's the upside. Restaurant is new, clean and very roomy inside. Very pleasant dining experience. There's outdoor seating too! But the most important part is the quality of the food.... Which is top notch! Everything was fresh, prepared well and pleasing to look at. High quality ingredients are the norm, from the chips and all three kinds of salsa to the grilled shrimp being firm with hints of "grill" kissed on their cook. Even the carne asada meat was top tier selection. So if you're a fan of high quality food and Mexican fare and don't mind paying for it, then you need to drop in and grind.
Good food. Very crowded on a Sunday afternoon.
This place rocks the staff is consistent and friendly the food is phenomenal with great portions and excellent prices you won't go wrong go often and tip well

Blackened fish tacos are so good! And the rice is perfect. Service is very helpful and friendly, and it's a team effort to serve you. Business is always steady with customers, but never too busy.
The bean and cheese burritos (both pinto and black bean) are outstanding. The homemade salsa bar is the best in Brea. This place has something for everyone whether you are looking for tacos or a fresh salad.
I stopped in to pick up dinner. Ordered fish tacos and a chicken enchilada plate. Cashier was friendly and very helpful with the menu, since it was my first time. Food was fresh and delicious. Good portions. It's a fairly new restaurant with lots of indoor seating and nice modern decor. Very clean. Will definitely visit again.
Baja Fish Tacos nailed it! I ordered the Carne Asada Taco and the Ensenada Taco, and both were outstanding. The carne asada was juicy and full of flavor, but the star was definitely the Ensenada fish taco—super fresh fish, lightly battered and crispy, with that classic Baja sauce and cabbage that just hits the spot. Everything tasted so yummy and made fresh. Love the quality here—definitely one of the best fish tacos around. Will be craving this again soon!
New favorite spot! I tried their potato tacos for the first time today and WOW — they were absolutely delicious, like a little piece of heaven. The flavor, the texture, everything was perfect. But what really made this place my new favorite was the customer service.
This is a newer location of an established Mexican restaurant chain. They have excellent indoor and outdoor seating. Their fish tacos are worth seeking out. I prefer the grilled fish, but they have blackened and ensenada style fried fish as well. Other classic Mexican dishes are available but I always go for the fish tacos, which is in the name of the place. They have a good bottled beer selection. The salsa bar is excellent, and their pico de gallo is always fresh and delicious.
This has become our favorite last minute meal, Saturday afternoon treat, friendly meetup destination. Every item we’ve had has been delicious. All the friends we’ve brought here have very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Do not pass on the onion from the salsa bar, you may need a beer to wash down the heat but the flavor it will add to any burrito or taco will not disappoint.

Best fish tacos around! We ate outside. Nice patio.

The menu was easily read, clear and descriptive while the servers were happy to answer any questions regarding the menu. Once served, which was faster than expected, service continued with the staff occasionally checking expectations were met and if they could provide any other service. The food was delicious, the prices fair, and the restaurant itself was clean and tidy. This will become a place I'll return to frequently, especially when craving exceptional Mexican seafood.
Pretty good fish taco spot. I do remember the fish tacos being way better the last time I was here though. The fish was in small strips which was weird and it just wasn't packed with flavor how I remember. But this is happening with a bunch of restaurants these days. The star of the meal were the shrimp taquitos, omg they were so bomb! My kids got the burrito which looked good and the shrimp tacos which looked better than my fish tacos. Overall it's a pretty tasty place where you can't really go wrong with most choices. I will say prices seem insane these days, it cost $99 for four of us to eat which was each of us getting a dish plus the taquitos and two drinks. Nuts.
Had tacos ala carte, taco combo plate, green salad. Food was very good. Price was high.
Nothing crazy Bout this place. Pretty good food though! Thought their burrito was good but it's really expensive.
