I loved the food and the service was even better.Wish i knew the waitresses name but forgot but overall the staff there were all great.Quick service and didn't have to ask for refills.Nice and cold with a cozy feel to it.Ate country fried steak and eggs with potatoes and pancakes it was yummy!!😊
The shrimp scampi is killer. David is a great server. We both had meals with water as our beverages and dined for $33.00 before gratuity...plus free pie.
This is for pie pickup. The last Cocos in Socal that has their seasonal Pumpkin Harvest pie. The best pumpkin pie I have ever had. Made the journey to Brea get a couple for Thanksgiving since they closed our local Cocos. Super friendly staff working hard to fill all those orders. If they close, I think Arizona is the next closest 😂
The pictures should be self explanatory!!!! Fast seating loved it. Prime Rib cooked to perfection. Pumpkin pie 🥧 topped with Chiffon yum
Great service restaurant was clean. 5 stars from me. Food was served quickly and it was good.
Stopped by for dinner yesterday evening while in the area. My daughter and I give it 10/10. It didn’t look too busy on the side of the restaurant closest to the entrance so I asked to be seated there (plus it was close to the restroom, which is always good when you have kids). Our waiter was extremely attentive and accommodating when serving us, double checking with the kitchen staff of our substitutions assuring they were able to do so which they were. My daughter ordered the Kids Alfredo Pasta (sub for marinara sauce), w/ a side of fruit (honey dew and cantaloupe), and a strawberry lemonade. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi w/ a side salad that also included French bread. The food was delicious! I devoured my pasta, it was THAT good! 😌 on our way out we got 2 slices of the Strawberry Cheese Pie 🍓 Thank you to the team here, the ambiance and hospitality were incredibly inviting - - see you again!
A place for comfort food. Their pies are amazing.
Lovely diner food and a really cozy atmosphere! Always get a pie from there so good!
Check the Club 55 menu, if your chosen entree is there consider ordering. Little smaller serving for a much better price. They aren't going to ask you if you are old enough if you aren't
We celebrated my nephews 8th grade graduation and also my birthday, the host was such a nice man he went above and beyond his job he even took pictures with us💞💞
This was my first time eating at Coco's Bakery Restaurant and the food was awesome. The service was great and staff outstanding. The next time we are in Fullerton CA , which will be in a few weeks, Coco's is definitely where we will eat.
Very good! I had a Coco's sub and my friend had a cheese burger with Parmesan cheese bread... delish! We also got a free slice of pie Wednesday! Yum!
Dined inside. Club meeting in separate room ample room to accommodate several people. Great service! Very pleasant server! Nice location and atmosphere
This place has the BEST DESSERTS!!! Not to mention the portion size is HUGE!!! Went there after University of California Fullerton Commencement Ceremony. Had a GREAT time/staff!!! Would definitely recommend.
Our server was outstanding on Years Eve. He attended to our requests with smiles and was very polite. Highly recommend this place.
Coco's has been in business as long as I can remember & I'm almost 70yrs old. The food is very good and always cooked perfectly. Their pies & other baked goods are wonderful!!!
Excellent Coco's. Came here with family and a very large party and they nailed service, food no mistakes and prompt service would return.
I had the chorizo hash with poached eggs and fruit it was surprisingly delicious and flavorful not to knock the establishment but this dish coming from this place was really good they made there own chorizo you can taste it full of flavor and good spice to go with it i recommend this dish
We absolutely love this wonderful find. The food was so fantastic and the service was great. I even brought my husband after going with my sister because it was so wonderful. The food again was incredible.
Excellent breakfast burrito. And the potatoes were perfect, nice and brown and the onions were really canalized. Enjoyed myself immensely. Didn't try the basket, too full!
Went to Coco’s today and was so glad to see that they took our safety during this pandemic seriously. Social distancing was in place and everything was still very accessible. I’ve been going here for years and this proves what a wonderful restaurant it really is.
Good food at a fair price. Good customer service, attentive but not overpowering. Deserts (pies) were excellent. If you want a bit of nestalga this is the place.
First time for my little ones, since we were 4 they got us in right away on a busy weekend. Food and drinks were served promptly, kids ate everything (my favorite part) all in all a great experience.
First of all me and my family had just left the mall and we're thinking of desert so we search on the website for Marie calendars but do to the 9pm time they were all closed so then my wife suggested Coco's restaurant I hadn't been there before well then I shall give it a try they did have a nice display of baked goods to my surprise even sugar free items I ordered the cheese cake pie my wife ordered the banana cream pie they both tasted very good as well as a better price than the competition sorry Marie calendars Coco's now took your desert spot.
My most recent experience wasn't the best, but ever time before that awesome! I didn't catch the man's name but I believe he's the manger... He's awesome! They have the BEST burgers too
Great burger and fries. I always forget the quality of the food and service of a diner like Cocos just for lunch. Price is reasonable comfortable seats.
Cocos is OLD SKOOL. Great place too eat. The waitress was very nice. Especially that my client is a special need person. They puree my clients food. So he can enjoy his meal. Thank You Cocos👍
Always delicious! Out of the chain American diner resturants, Coco's is my family's favorite. The prime rib is always tender and reasonably priced. The pies are always fresh. Lots of choices on the senior and kids' menus. I wish this particular location was larger because it is in a huge parking lot so there seems to be plenty if room for the building to be expanded. Hopefully that eould help with the wait on weekends, especially at beeakfast.
Prime rib was excellent! My husband had the prime burger and loved it. Even my extremely picky daughter enjoyed the spaghetti and a scoop of ice cream. Took home a Dutch apple pie that was heavenly. Great parking. Restaurant was busy but no wait for table and very prompt service. Server and hostess were very friendly. We will definitely be back.
Fun, family environment. My father-in-law in an area manager there. I took my kids to have a family breakfast there on Saturday. The food is outstanding, the servers are great. Very friendly and always checking on you and fill up your drinks from coffee to a soda. The pies are great, you can either take it home or eat it there.bthe managers and servers are always asking about your day and starting a conversation with you. I highly recommend this place to go with your family or even by yourself.
Even on a Sunday after church, we didn't have to wait long. The dining room was clean and well maintained. The wait staff was professional, courteous, and efficient. Our meals were served quickly, and the food was delicious. I got the Tex-Mex Scramble. My girlfriend got the Pumpkin Pancakes with the Triple Mega Combo. It was all served for a reasonable price as well. We'll be back.
Our server, Angel, was really tolerant. We came in with a very large group, even though we had reservations, no one showed up on time. He quickly got us our beverages and menus and waited until we said we were ready.
I ordered breakfast take out from Coco's. This was my first visit to the restaurant. We ordered the gluten free fresh banana walnut and caramel pancakes, 2 eggs and turkey sausage combo and a order of cinnamen roll french toast with a side of hash browns. We also ordered a slice of Apple pie, Peach cheese pie and Dutch apple pie just to sample the pies. The food and pies were delicious! The pies were so fresh. The crust was excellent. My favorite pie out of the 3 was the peach cheese pie. The peach slices on top were so fresh. I'm not sure what's added to the peaches but it was delicious. The customer service was excellent as well. Needless to say I plan to return. This restaurant was such a delight to discover.
Pretty good. It was super busy on a Friday around 9 am (it was a school holiday). Huge parking lot with plenty of parking. The 2 of us walked in and waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Coffee and water were brought right away, and the waiter was back a few minutes later take our orders. There were only 3 servers working their tails off serving the entire restaurant. The food arrived quickly and was hot and freshly cooked. We ordered an omelet and the buttermilk pancakes. I had the pancakes, which, for me, didn't quite taste like buttermilk pancakes. They were sweeter and had a heap of vanilla or something added to them. They were okay, and I ate them, but not my favorite. Other than that, all was good.
Muy buena la comida y exelente atencion
Muy buen servicio la comida rapido y rica es un buen ambiente para disfrutar los alimentos
Cocos Bakery Restaurant yo soy feliz cuando voy adesayunar lorecomiendo
The food is 3 ⭐. Four star is for their pet friendly environment. Food is not enough at all. Although the price is less, but I would prefer get full with one entrée.
cocos is always one of my go to restaurants......today it was steak & eggs ir was very good.....service was a bit slow today but not good enough.
Good was very good..hit the spot.. sad that they want to charge for any Sala.. expect some to be free. Also went for peaches and they where out
We came on a busy Saturday and I saw customers that had been waiting for their meals. We ordered asap cuz we didn't know how long it would take for our food to come out.
We like going to Cocos from time to time and it is very consistent. The food is decent prices are good and the staff is friendly. Except one person, the manager Randy. He is all business and has zero personality and is the most unfriendly host at a resteraunt I've ever seen. Never says "welcome" or "how was your meal" nothing. Just to the point. We will avoid going there when we know hes working.
Good service my waiter was doing a great job! His name was David older gentleman but was Great! Food was Ok! Place is a throw back from the 70s that's for sure!
I’ve been eating at Coco’s since I was a little girl. The menu has changed over time but the quality of the food has remained consistently good. I was disappointed that they no longer have their famous house dressing and have gone to the typical ranch dressing. Their house dressing with some thing I look forward to every time I went to Coco’s. It will be missed.
It was a pleasant experiment minus the over booking of the meeting room. Service was good otherwise, after ordering food it arrive quickly and tasted great. Our hostess was very attentive.
I would have given it 5 stars but the service was a little slow and it just seems like they were a little understaffed, and I noticed that management was not doing there part as for helping out the staff waitresses in getting the food out , how unfortunate. For myself being in the Retail business your management team needs to lead by example GET IN THERE AND HELP that way they gain the respect that they deserve.
Coco's is a nice spacious well lit casual dining place. I usually go for the Berger's and pie but the menu has lots of choices. They don't rush you but if you're on a hurry they will get you out quickly. There are lots of locations usually close to the freeway. Always consistent.
Seated immediately. I liked the shorter menu. Senior menu on back. Prices were OK. Soup or salad are extra. It is a nice option. Food was average, but well prepared.
I love this cocos for its pies. They are always fresh and tasty. The Cheese pie is not to be missed, and if your looking for something savory try the Santa Fe Quiche. Yes Cocos is a little dated, but the quality of the food for the price is fantastic.
Not your Grandparent's Cocos...impressed with the menu, such variety, opted for chicken and rice soup, a salad, New York strip, shrimp scampi, veggies and the Dutch Apple Pie...all was great. Service was wonderful, I was surprised...who knew?!! Def will return!
It's getting harder and harder to find Coco's Restaurants the corporate seems to be closing them sadly. They are for the most part a delicious fun happy experience and if you're a senior they have a special 55 and older menu which has great items at a very fair price period always a favorite Coco's has remained for many years one of my best places to go to have a nice meal not to mention the great pies and desserts that they offer
Old Restaurant but still nice. My husband & I ate here 2 days in a row. Both times my husband asked for dry toast & both times it came out buttered. The servers are nice, smile, & are attentive, which is nice. They have a fairly extensive menu & also offer an over 55 menu. The pies look delicious, but are expensive.
Standard diner experience. Classic breakfast plates like eggs, pancakes, bacon etc. For a Sunday morning, it wasn't too busy. There wasn't any wait, and food came out quickly. They also have a good selection of pies. Plenty of parking available in the lot.
Sadly, it is not the Coco's I remembered from when I worked for their company 40 years ago. The food was great and the service was wonderful, however the menu was pared down tremendously from what I remember. Still my dad enjoyed his cheeseburger despite the sort of limp French fries. And we did appreciate free pie Wednesday!
Madison and Michelle are great! a breakfast burrito and home fries is delicious as well as the club sandwich. the cop in Chinese chicken salad really good. and for dessert you got to try one of their slice of pie shakes. recommendation choose a pie that's a smooth or creamy consistency amazing. raspberry cheesecake shakes the best!
It was kinda shocking at first when we were handed a single sheet laminated menu . I was so looking forward to having my favorite fish barramundie which I always used to order . Times have changed and I understand the financial difficulties an eating establishment may have right now . Having said that Damian our server was great (very attentive) and I still will go back there . All the other joints around there are always loud , crowded and have horrible parking .
Food was good, hot and quick! Hector was our server and provided outstanding service! Owner needs to replace the wooden tables though. The finish is worn off on the edges where you rest your wrists and even though cleaned, they are still sticky. Otherwise would be 5 star
I eat out often and visit a lot of Brea restaurants. I've both eaten in and carried out from this Coco's location for several years now. I've never gotten bad service or poor quality of food. Not sure what happened to these other reviewers, but I've always been happy at this Coco' s. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners have been four star quality and service has even been five stars. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
The service at this Coco's is great. We wound up seated with the same waitress we had over a month ago, and she remembered us! She is the best! Bummed I didn't catch her name, so I can't give her kudos. The gluten free pancakes are delicious. Easy, dependable breakfast. Great for days when you want to roll out of bed and start your day with something reliable. The atmosphere is relaxed. Decent acoustics, even when it's busy, it never seems to be unbearably loud. We have never had to wait more than 10 minutes, and we've eaten here about 5 times. It's definitely a location we will keep coming back to.
Decent service from the kitchen and staff. Food was average. Server looked stoned, but did his job, was a good laugh. The chicken on my salad was salty and boiled, but the rest of it was fresh. I will admit that I am a harsh reviewer and this is not a five star, and with the food being average they are not deserving of the fourth star. Overall decent meal, decent service, and clean environment. Good place for a plain meal.
Food was good , but service is not really good.
Meh. Overpriced mediocre food. Not so great customer service. Diner atmosphere--cuz it's a diner. Just should manage expectations 😌 prior to dining there.
I ordered a 10 dollar hamburger and it was a paper thin pattie with loads of lettuce and over sized buns. I tell the waiter and he doesn't seem to understand English very clear. I brought it to the management attention and they adjusted my bill to take the hamburger off it.
Always good food and nice staff. However, the wait time for service from servers visiting the tables and bringing the check, paying the bill is way toooooooo long!!!! Ridiculous. Consider hiring more staff immediately
Friendly place, waitress was nice but the food was cold oh, I mentioned it to her she said it just came off the grill,. Must have been a warm Grill on a cold day, wish it was. Outside of that always good I guess when you eat out a lot the numbers catch up to you oh, you have one bad experience for every 20 times you go out
Service was great, staff was real friendly and nice. They took our order quickly and brought everything out real quick even though the restaurant was pretty full. I ordered a scramble that looked like it was a way overcooked omelette that was broken apart. It was so overcooked it was more like a pancake than an egg scramble.
Service was great. However they need to get bacon that isn't so thin. It didn't even look like a whole piece. Also I didn't say anything because I noticed it at end of my meal. Please make sure your books are wearing appropriate head covers. There was a gross little hair on my plate. Wasn't mine 🤮
Typical diner fare but a step above Dennys. Went on a Sunday for breakfast and waited around 10 minutes to be seated. My utensil was dirty but the waitress brought me a replacement after I brought it to her attention. Good place for families. The food was satisfactory. Nothing really outstanding or memorable. As a matter of fact, I already forgot what I ordered but my wife got the country fried steak which was good and the kids were happy with their eggs and toast. The location is next to a freeway on ramp which means that you need to drive in the freeway entrance lane so if you miss the driveway, you'll be on the freeway.
I was waiting for 70mins to place an order. There were many empty tables but they didn’t allowed to have a seat since servers are not enough. It was a really terrible time. And the servers are very very unkind. I dont wanna be there again.
I place a order from Uber eats and that's what I got for a pie shake which cost me 10.99 for 16 on cup I'm disappointed for the price and 16 on cup and not utenciles to eat my coslaw 🤦besides that, it was good.
My wife bought side menu for Thanksgiving Day. When we brought them to home and opened, one of them was like the picture.
It's ok, but some of the staff aren't very good. The food is inconsistent, sometimes coming out good but other times coming out terrible. I've gone there multiple times and I have not enjoyed my experience.
I'm not sure.. but the workers there gave us attitude. I'm it seemed as if colored people got ignored a bit too much. I'm not the type to say racism! But this time, for the 1st time, I saw it. Unless they were having a bad day. Who knows.
Food is okay, but the atmosphere is filthy. Lamps above the tables are full of dust, that I even had a tiny spider crawling over our table… and not to mention they even put Christmas decorations over the dusty lamps..
I went in to buy finger foods.... God 100. Bucks later, and a manager teaching his crew on how to not take responsibility over forgetting items in my order. And they probably were the only things that tasted good. Cuz the things I brought home, went to the trash. And I then ordered Arby's. Never again.
I have never been to Cocos before. This was my first time. The service was not great. They took for ever to take our order. The Asian chicken salad was really spicy that we had to exchange it. I had the house potatoes and they were just plain small pieces of potatoes with no peppers and onions. Over all the food was not good, the service not good so I know I will not be returning. I didn't even try their pies.
I went here with my friends and family. The food was pretty good. The service was not that good. Our server was Raul, he was very short and interrupted when we would talk. I saw him with other customers, the older ones to be exact and he was so nice and laughing but as soon as he walked towards our table he had an attitude. I would understand if we were rude or annoying but we had just got there and this came from nowhere. I hope the service can be better next time.:..
They had a lot of available seating, but seated Us in the back for whatever reason felt weird. It took a while to be offered drinks and even longer to get them felt dehydrated, waiting for the food was about average. My meal specifically was bad, the bread tasted nothing like sourdough. The turkey tasted like lunch meat and the proportions were next to nothing felt like I was getting cheated out of my meal. I honestly just wanted to leave but was scared of being accused of dining and dashing, also I didn't want to be starving later when I was going shopping so I decided to finish my food just to get in the calories. Not quite sure on how busy it was, but it was very difficult to even get a refill for my water. After drinking my refill it never got refilled, I had to ask my girlfriend if I could drink her water and that felt bad. But It felt like I had no other choice. Buyers beware DO NOT GET THE COCOS CLUB!
The food was awful. Fries dry, no crisp 😕, French dip served on sour dough bread, not roll. Patty melt, greasey, and hamburger way over cooked.
I went to this Coco's last night with a friend. I ordered off of the gluten free menu and explained in detail that I am a Celiac and I have to be very careful to not ingest any gluten. The server assured me that they would take the proper precautions to make it GF. My meal arrived with a sauce that was not on the meal description. I unfortunately tried a small potato before double checking with the waitress who again claimed it was gluten free. When I asked for a list of the ingredients, she said it was made with wheat flour. That's gluten! The manager, Tonya, came to talk with us. I explained what happened and asked for a plain steak and egg dinner, as per the GF menu. She was completely put out that she had to throw out a $15 meal, and she said that since they were closing in 30 minutes they would not make me a meal. The capper was, as I was trying to explain to the manager- AGAIN- what gluten free is, and trying to show her my GF card, she blew it off and was dismissive. Obviously, she hadn't listened to a thing I said, because, to add insult to injury, she came back to the table a few minutes later and offered me a piece of (wheat flour) pie! Long story short, I ended up getting glutenized from the one little piece of potato I ate. I lost a day of work, and spent the majority of today bleeding and suffering from debilitating abdominal pain. Had I believed the waitress and the manager and eaten the steak, instead of writing this I would be in the ER getting transfusions. Coco's advertises gluten free without knowing what gluten is. They obviously do not train their servers on safe food procedures- pure negligence on the part of the company! The customer service was beyond appalling. Considering that they put my life and health at risk, the attitude and lack of concern from Tonya was unpardonable- this woman should NOT be a manager. We will never go back to this establishment and we'll be sure to tell all our friends and family to avoid Coco's like the plague. We will be contacting corporate on Monday.
The Coco's in glendora. I highly recommend eating there it was very nice atmosphere clean the food was good price accordingly nice location I think there is often as I can.
Food was average and the service was below average ordered a Cheddar Cheese Omelet, side of sausage as I'm eating I was missing the sausage I said to the waitress you forgot the sausage she rubuttled "oh it's in the Omelet" as part of her job is advise patrons of out of the ordinary menu offering's. Mad a point to discuss the disatisfaction. Brea Coco's buyer be- ware! :(
I had two negative experiences here. The first was last July when I bought a peach pie with mold. I came back within an hour and they were not happy to honor my request for a refund , they told me they do not refrigerate fruit pies only cream pies. It was hot and humid, a breeding ground for bacteria. Second time a couple months ago I asked for a prime rib sandwhich but they only had steak . It came after 47 mins ( only one waitress for the entire restaurant) it was hard as a rock I couldn't even take a bite off of it so I left it . Waitress offered us one dollar off our bill and threw threw the sandwhich away.
Following this review is my review from 2 yrs ago. It was good then but yesterday was a disappointment. My wife and I were happy they could do dine in so went. Had Ribeye steak. The steak was very poor quality. The waitress was friendly but forgot about us got busy? Don't know. On paying we told the fellow at the register that the steak was not good. He asked, "Did you tell the waitress?" in an acusitive manner. Wife told him, No, she didn't cook it she just delivered it. The fellow just shrugged and said Well, or some such. He continued being flippant, antaginistic and should find another line of work. We have been visiting Cocos for almost 30 years. Never had poor quality food or bad service before-not the waitress, they do get busy, they are human. But the register guy, whatever position he holds--Doubt we will return to this location again. Just sad actually. The food was good and the service was too. Coco's has the best Oriental Chicken Salad. Price is competitive for this type of restaurant.
Our Waiter made a Rude and Hurtful Comment...He Stated that his Manager gets Upset if They give out too many Coffee Creamers !! My Wife and I, were Enjoying Breakfast, until that Point 😭 I could Understand if We were only Buying Coffee. Our Bill was over $40.00+ Tip. The Staff needs to be Trained Better, so as NOT to Offend The Patrons !!!! No Wonder The Waiter brought out Small Portions of Creamers each time we Requested more 😭 We stayed but did NOT enjoy our Meals, my Wife did Tip The Waiter, 20%
The service here is terrible! Extremely unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. I placed a pickup order and it was ready 20 minutes after the pick up time. Now normally I wouldn’t make a complaint but I the first time I went in it was already 10:16 am, five minutes past the 10:11 pickup time. They didn’t greet me with any politeness, simply told me it’d be ready in “a few” minutes, I was like okay whatever and I waited in my car, came back in about 5 minutes. Saw that it still wasn’t ready, they told me it’ll be on the shelf when it’s ready, again didn’t give me an estimated time. I left again and came in about 7 minutes later, it still wasn’t ready. I go back to my car and I’m talking with my boyfriend, about 5 minutes later we say we should just call them. We call to ask if our order that was supposed to be ready 20 minutes ago was ready yet. Here’s what they said: “Yeah it’s been ready for about 10 minutes, the girl that came to pick it up appears to have disappeared.” I know it wasn’t ready for 10 minutes, because I came in 5 minutes ago. Secondly, I don’t know why they’re saying I disappeared, I was clearly coming in and out to check on my LATE order. My boyfriend said “oh really? cause she was just in there.” We hung up and I went in and the server said “it’s over there.” There was no smiles or positive energy from anyone working there. And on top of that, we had asked when placing the order online to substitute the eggs for extra potatoes, and they did not.
This place is a shell of itself. I could care less about their pies but I used to frequent this place for a bowl of their broccoli cream soup and complimentary breads, specifically the sweet brown bread which now they have completely stopped serving and the soup is tasteless. Things are just isn't what it used to be just like any other restaurants after Covid. Everyone's stingy and expensive.. sad. I'm done with Cocos forever.
Ordered Fish and Chips. First time I've ever got two pieces when every where else I get three pieces. Bla tasting. Looking at pie for dessert but none had prices in menu. That annoyed me so talked to manager. He said he prefered prices in the menu too and blew me off. Have been going there for over 30 years. Never again.
Came in today for lunch. Ordered the chicken Alfredo. Wasn't all that great. Lil bit of chicken w/ watery pasta sauce. Place is food for breakfast tho. Don't think I'll come here again. Not to much on the menu
Very disappointing experience. Group of four went for breakfast specifically for cinnamon toast breakfast. At 8:00 am on a Sunday they had none. We each chose something else but mine was still extremely disappointing. I chose the harvest grain pancakes but they were nothing like they used to serve. They had no grains in them and we're just made with wheat flour. This made them really tough and dry. Restaurant is worn out and didn't seem clean. We decided we would not be back to that location. Very sad. 😞
I ordered the herbed chicken. The menu said it was a chicken breast but actually it was only a thin slice of a breast . It came with instant potato’s . I asked waiter why no butter or gravy. He said naturally I’d have to pay extra for that.
Called in an order when we got there they don't know what we are talking about. If this was my place at this point someone's getting a discount or a free pie. I even showed the lady the number I dialed because she acted like it was no big deal. Eat here pretty often but I guess ill pass next time.
I usually only order the cod dinner for my elderly mother, but today I ordered a rib eye steak for myself and my daughter. I was greatly disappointed to find that our steak was not medium like I asked but extremely overcooked. I mean way beyond well. In addition to this it had a strange taste and smell. I ended up throwing it away and taking my daughter to McDonald's. I spoke with the manager but he was unapologetic and gave me the line "I just ate the same thing and it was fine". I hope all that read this have a better experience than I did.
The server and manager were great. The entire restaurant was very dirty. At the exterior near the entrance, spider webs are all around and are more noticeable due to the build up of bugs caught in the webs. Upon entering food and paper covers the carpet and its clear the dining area is not being cleaned enough for the volume of clients entering. Once seated I picked off a chunk of food left on the table by whoever was there last. I verbally advised of the filth to the person who seated us and she just kept walking away. The seats are worn and had hair on the backs from the previous clients. Terrible for cocos since the food was great.
Not sure if it was because of race. But we were ignored for o er 10 minutes. So we went to IHOP. Instantly we were greeted, seated and asked what we wanted to drink. Big difference in customer service. Cocos must not care about customer service to new customers.
Upon entering the establishment, there was no one to greet me. I proceeded to walk further into the restaurant, and to my dismay, I was met by the manager, Antoinette. She asked me, “Can I help you?” in a tone as if I didn’t belong there. Not a “Welcome to Cocos. How many in your party?” She looked at me up and down. I told her no, I was going to use the restroom. I wanted to wash my hands before I was seated. Her microaggressions made me not want to eat there. When I exited the restroom, she looked at me repeatedly. She was in the same spot when I came in. It was the most unwelcoming environment I’ve ever been in. This is unacceptable behavior, especially for management. Is this Coco's core values as a company? This was my first visit there, and it wasn't enjoyable.
The restaurant was very busy and understaffed. Our wait for our first cup of coffee was VERY long. Our breakfast of two pancakes, two eggs and two slices of bacon were stone cold and not edible.... Very sad day for Coco's. The Asst Manager was running the place and he did not even ask us how our meal was...very, very sad.
Probably our fault for going on Christmas day. However, our money is just as valid every day and good service should be high priority no matter how busy an establishment may be. On top of the terrible service it was very cold outside and once inside you could barely feel the difference. People were in the waiting area huddled close toghether to stay warm. After waiting to be seated, it took another 15 to 20 minutes before our waiter came to our table. When ordered, by that time, my wife and I were starving. Sadly, it only got worse. We waited another 20 to 30 minutes before we received our food. When we did get it it was cold. This means out waiter let it sit on the counter until he brought it to our table. My plate looked like it was put toghether with what was left over of their home fries and about half of the portion to be served. My pancakes were hard like they'd been premade then microwaved to serve. They tasted like rubber and difficult to chew. Ate them anyway because we were very hungry. Overall this was terrible service and my family and I will never be going back. There are many options in restaurants and we'll take our business and hard earned dollars to them. No one should pay for bad service, cold atmosphere and worse, terrible food. No thank you, have a nice day.
This restaurant was horrible, atmosphere, it smells old and food was blah! I thought it improved.....NOT. My mom's bible group, 8 ladies go every Sunday after church, and visit throughout the week. I thought I'd give it another try, and after 3 visits, it failed again. Then, last Sunday, the bible group went back and finally experienced the same bad food and service I have. One of the women had strawberries on top of their waffle, and they received 2 thin slices of the berry. After politely showing the problem, and asking for better service, nothing was done, and they decided to never go there again. They have been going there for over 20 years. This entire chain EXCEPT for the one in Rancho Cucamonga (of course, too far to go, 25 miles) stink. Zero stars is a compliment, and they are at the bottom for sure, but I can't post this without at least one star!
En fin de año.fui a comprar un pastel y no tenían cajas para llevar.y la actitud del hombre que me atendió era de enojo.no voy a volver a este lugar
