Andrea's Taco Shop Brenham Reviews
The food was amazing and the baddie that took my order was very nice 👍🏼 very nice place to eat
Excellent breakfast tacos. Everything was fresh and homemade. Really tasty homemade salsas provided also.
The food here is amazing!! And the burritos are huge for the money and delicious. Its not fast food, they make it when you order so some things can take 10 to 20 minutes but it's worth the wait for fresh cooked delicious food. I stop by everything I am in Brenham and get extra breakfast burritos to take home. All the girls that work there are very friendly so you will leave full and happy. One of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend!!!
Passing through from Houston and stopped at Andrea’s—so glad I did! Great prices, super friendly, and the food was fresh and fast. Tried the chiles rellenos and gorditas, both delicious. Definitely worth the stop!
Absolutely incredible food! I started with the tacos al pastor, and they were hands down some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. While there were a few hiccups with the order (likely due to my limited Spanish), the staff remained patient, and the quality of the food made it well worth the wait. I’d gladly come back again—highly recommended!
One of the best taquerias around! Been coming here for years and even though we moved away we still make frequent stops here as they have some of the best burritos, enchiladas, nachos and tacos around. We’ve only ate the Carne Asada so can’t say for the other meats but that beef is Incredible! Also the Shredded Beef Burrito is killer!
Love the breakfast burritos and chicken fajita tacos here—they’re easily the best (and healthiest) items on the menu. I always order the bb’s with eggs, ham, and potatoes with either guac or green salsa (sometimes both if I'm feeling extra fancy), and my go-to order for tacos is chicken fajita, pico, and guac served on a corn tortilla. Can’t speak for anything else on the menu as I haven’t ordered much else here, but I'm not as much of a fan of the beef dishes as the breakfast or chicken (the beef is a bit greasy or tastes like lard). Staff is always friendly, and this place has been a local fixture in the area for over 20 years.
Best tacos in Brenham, and you know they're going to taste good because they take a little while to get ready. I've never been inside but they're always friendly at the drive-thru.
Great place but needs more seasoning ! Sometimes you get the right cook that seasons food then at other times the cook that doesn't add enough seasoning But overall just a great taco shop for this small town ! !
Good but not great. The quality of the food was adequate but the flavors were a bit meh. Still better than big-fast food, but maybe not by much. Spent $25 on two combination meals with sodas and a tip. Clean environment. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Small space but wasn't a problem finding a table during lunchtime on a Saturday.
Found this place on our way to Somerville. Really good prices. The food was served piping hot. The Mexican rice was void of the usual vegetables (crushed tomato, onions, celery) but other wise well seasoned. Meals are served on disposable plates which was okay. My tongue burrito was excellent. Tender and garnished with fresh cilantro. Will I go back? Maybe. It was a tad warm inside, temperature was in the high 80’s outside. I recommend checking it out next time you’re in Brenham Texas.
Too arrogant, semi decent prices , depending on what you order ; good, oK or great but; nothing bad, that I ever experienced. I'd give it 4 stars if they were quicKer
Potato, egg cheese tacos… potatoes are super under cooked. First time there and could be the last. Great little place and super friendly register man but the cook needs to try his own food.
I have been here before and loved their street tacos. Brought my family back and placed a to go order. I ordered 3 street tacos and specifically told them to add extra cilantro and onion. He asked me if I wanted rice and beans and I thought he meant as a side so I said no beans extra rice. My husband ordered a torta. We got to the park and my street tacos had 2 pieces of cilantro and a few onions and my husbands torta had pretty much no meat. we were really disappointed
First visit here. Tried breakfast tacos. $2.10 each. Extra charge for cheese seems a bit much. Service time was reasonable with an order of 8. Somewhat disappointed with lack of flavor. Very little seasoning. I definitely expected them to taste better than a Whataburger bacon egg cheese taquito, but they didn’t. Salsa lackluster. I did check out the regular menu while waiting. Ive heard good reviews from their nachos and some other items. Ill give those a try and maybe update the review. Prices on regular menu were appealing. Appears to be a drive thru take home Mexican fast food location rather than a sit down restaurant although there is small space inside. We’ll see what next visit presents.
Was mad about the price increase but understood it. But the owner needs to buy a scale or do something on his portion sizes because I may pay $10 for an entree but I’m getting the $6.75 pricing worth of it. I only say this because most days I can get a random assortment of portion sizes each day, I mean ask for extra cheese and they give you barely and the next a lot(mind you I pay for it too so it’s not free extra) then if you order just a regular $3(taco cost less with more stuff) quesadilla it had no cheese and I mean you are eating tortilla at this point 😅. I don’t know this place used to be the best I didn’t even have to order extra anything. I understand inflation but I don’t understand the shrinkflation part that you are imposing on many who dined here regularly for decades. Charge what you want but remember people will always come to good food but this is not that. And take that Californian burrito off the menu or fix it that’s an affront to that amazing delicacy: The California burrito, created in San Diego, is traditionally loaded with carne asada, French fries, guacamole, cheese, and sour cream. If you are charging more better add more and yes they can cost $10 they usually do if done right… how do you not have Cheese on it 🤷♂️… Seen below is my $10 order of fries… my seven dollar burrito is literally heavier. It is such a shame that you do this to your customers… I don’t even know what to even say it’s insulting when you spend about $20 and all you get Walmart sized burritos and enough fries for a small fry at McDonald’s(new cartons not bags)
I go here sometimes. I understand that the prices on everything has gone up but the quesadillas were already low on meat. Now over $7 with a toddler size of meat. $7.31 to be exact...I went through the drive thru and when she handed me my food...seemed like nothing was hardly there...You will do better making it at home...smh...
