The good came out hot and quickly. Truly done well, I understand why this place had won best whataburger several years in a row, or atleast that’s what I heard. Anyways there was one worker who kept trying to screw me. I told him I wasn’t interested being that I am a straight male with a girlfriend. Even after I denied him and told him this 3 times when I sat done to eat I kept feeling like I was being watched. Every time I looked up I’d see his glare for just a second. He was staring so aggressivelya d not lustly. More like pain. It was really disturbing. But food was great truly recommend checking this place out

The lady on the mic was the loudest and clearest I have ever had the pleasure of working with, at *any* fast food establishment, in my entire life. I just got so used to them mumbling or being overspoken by white noise that this was a shock, and a pleasant surprise. I understood every single word at the ordering board and didn't need to strain to hear her either. Wonderful! And the food was hot and delicious and they got my order right to a tee. Kudos to this team working so well under pressure.

I have stopped here several times while traveling. But have noticed a difference as of late. My wife and I stopped by and ordered from Dora who was very rude. She kept getting our order wrong. It would ring up over thirty dollars for two burgers and drinks. After several attempts she acted like it was our fault when we questioned the amount. After three times we just left.

My colleague and I were from out of town. The manager and staff were extremely polite and fast. Our food was fresh and tasty. We were very impressed. Thank you!

We stopped here on our way from Houston to Austin and had the best experience. We came inside and were immediately greeted by Michelle who was extremely kind. When we arrived the sit down area was decently busy but everyone was receiving their food in a quick manor. The employees were walking the food to the tables instead of just calling out the number and even knew some of the guests by name. The employees working the front were all kind and smiling. There was another employee dealing with all of the trash and he was kind as well, even taking the trash from our table. Another employee was cleaning the air vent and kindly greeted us as well. Also, can’t forget to mention the food. It was so top notch, and we regularly visit whataburgers. The gravy was the best gravy I’ve had from a whataburger and everything was fresh and delicious! I write this review because I was truly impressed with my experience and how well this establishment was being run. Great job to the employees and the people managing this place! Will return on future trips through the town.

The last five times I’ve had whataburger in Houston, they’ve gotten my order wrong and the food was cold and gross. Not sure why I kept trying. But twice this week I’ve gone to Whataburger in Brenham and they were perfect. My order was correct, hot and fresh both times. The workers are young, friendly, sharp and have great attitudes. And they were patient with me both times when I checked my order before leaving. Management has done a great job hiring and training a great staff. Y’all keep up the good work. And thank you for being one of the few stores still doing it right.

The order is correct every time. Service is always on point. Their ketchup is better than anyone else's. Drive-through service is notably polite. What a burger changes up the menu so you won't burn out. Consistently good all around and gneerally less beeping from kitchen if you prefer quieter eatery. The staff will go above and beyond.

Okay, I just had the most amazing experience at this particular water burger. I'm not going to leave a lot of detail. Because it's nobody's business. But the person involved knows who she is.And let me tell you that was just the most incredibly sweet thing, an employee has ever done for me! The food tasted amazing, and it's just the customer service.... That was unexpected, and out of this world. Thank you so much!

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but tonight, I felt compelled to share what I witnessed. First of all, I haven’t been to this whataburger in five years. Back then, the service was horrible, the food was always cold, and I could never understand why the burgers n food in general here, never taste the same as it does in a big town, after all this is Whataburger. Well tonight it’s late (6:45pm) I was craving the chicken sandwich meal deal, so I decided to give Whataburger another try. Allow me to share my observations upon entering. First, I was greeted by a man with a beard named Adam. He took my order and repeated it back to assure the order was correct, then rang me up. I could tell he was management because he was dressed differently and noticed that I haven’t been served…..I have to say, I was struck less by the food alone than by the man who runs the room. The bearded guy (Adam) worked the floor, with his crew throughout the evening — hand-delivering food, checking in with every table, and turning what should have been a routine evening at Whataburger into an unmistakably personal experience for me!! Next, while I was waiting on my food, a lady came up to the counter with her bag, Adam noticed her coming and went straight towards here and didn’t hide behind policy or excuses; he remade her order on the spot, determined to win the customer back. (When he did that- he won all of us back) That willingness to take responsibility and act quickly turned potential complaints into delighted customers, and it changed the tone of the entire dining room. What stood out most was his gift for conversation. He spook to the public/lady with warmth, confidence, and a disarming professionalism that made this guest feel heard and valued. His presence felt genuine, not performative. If I owned a multimillion-dollar company, this is the person I would hire first.

The food was simply amazing!!! The burger was HOT AND FRESH, and the fries were HOT CRISPY AND CRUNCHY!!!!!! Adam is an AMAZING manager and the restaurant is always clean and the staff is super friendly!!! Customers continue to come here because of the fast and friendly service, and the cook to order fresh and hot food. I work hard for every dollar that I earn, and that is why I do not mind spending my money and my time at the Brenham location for my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On a scale of 1 to 10, the Brenham Whataburger receives a 20!!!!!!!!

Wendy is such an asset to the company. Has a great personality and a very welcoming demeanor . I visited this location on 11/16 and she welcomed me into the store and promptly took my order. She even assisted my daughter in choosing what she wanted to eat, which I loved bc she got my daughter to speak. My daughter is a very shy person but Wendy was able to get her to speak. I visited the Brenham Whataburger location today for the first time, and I was very impressed. Amy, the manager, was out on the floor personally greeting guests, which really stood out to me. She even offered my daughter a refill and playfully called her “sugar,” which my daughter thought was so sweet. It was also clear that Amy had a great relationship with her staff, which made the whole restaurant feel welcoming and positive. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the overall environment had an uplifting energy that you don’t always see. I truly wish I lived closer to this location, because I would definitely come here more often. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Who would not like what a burger. It's a better Texas burger joint. The burgers are large and made when you order it. It's not sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be bought.

Excellent customer service! We stopped while traveling and found lots of very hard working employees that went above and beyond. Our order was correct and met expectations.

Employees need to actually listen to customers. Hamburger ordered with pickle and lettuce only came with mustard. Hamburger ordered with the works, including cheese, had no cheese. Ordered a chocolate shake and got vanilla. The Dr Pepper shake had very little Dr Pepper taste. Both shakes were extremely thin. Fries were great, crispy and flavorful.

This location graciously allowed us to bring a large group of teenagers and parents for a late dinner after our event, and the food came out pretty quickly after each order was placed. We completely filled the dining area (standing room only), so serving all of us was no small feat. Thank you!

Always busy and understandable yet always understaffed besides the morning time

The drive-thru was very busy, so we decided to eat inside. The space was clean and welcoming with only a handful of tables being used. Our order seemed to get lost. When I asked about the delay, they took care of the issue with out any hassle. It was a delight to be in a place where the employees care for the customers. I did try there crispy chicken sandwich. It was good sized, tender, and juicy. But it had no favor. Even the special sauce was tasteless. Too bad. I guess I will stick to the burgers.

The only reason this is getting 4 stars is because of the manager Mark. This was a very chaotic evening due to negligence of other employees. Mark was having to complete every task at hand such as: Take orders, Run food out to curbside, Used the fryer, Correct wrong orders given out, and deal with frustration of other customers. Despite all of that he still Mark kept his composure and was sincere with every apology due to the long wait times and incorrect orders. To reiterate Mark is the only reason for a 4 star review tonight.

This is my go-to fast food. Number 7 meal, no cheese. Two or three times a week. I'm surprised they are not more crowded.

I've had workers point and laugh at me and sometimes cashiers aren't listening when they take your order. Otherwise the food is good.

The food was great but they seem to be training a lot of new people. But they made it up to me so I'm good. The atmosphere through no fault of their own got very busy just as my family was wrapping up having dinner. A whole bunch of what seemed to be high schoolers in varsity jackets came in. they seem to have no concept of how loud they were talking. And the manager seemed to do nothing to correct how much they were bothering other customers by the volume alone.

Bathroom smelled HORRIBLE! Wait, only about 10 minutes which is fast for Whataburger. Food, ok fries were old and refried. We went to fix our drinks and one of the workers yelled EXCUSE ME!!! Real loud causing everyone in the restaurant to look over at her. As she rushed behind us, as if we were purposely standing in her way, she rushed passed and hit a customer sitting down in the head with a tray! Rude! This is an older Whataburger that could use remodeling, especially in the tight fitted drinking area.

I would give 5 stars but it's the 2nd store I been too where the Dr Pepoer shake is still on the menu and they say they no longer carry the Dr Pepper shake! Then why still advertise it then, I think a free shake is in order lol

The food tastes fine, and there isn't any problem with it, just your typical Whataburger meal. The location looks clean and standard, but I think that the biggest problem lies in the drive-thru. They seem to really struggle with getting the orders correctly and have missed the mark every time.

It must have been someone's first day, so I am not mad, but I asked for two egg sandwiches (clarified for no cheese, clarified that they were biscuits) and I got two egg and cheese sandwiches (burger bread). Kinda laughable.

Always like Whataburger. Stopped at this facility while traveling through Brenham late on a Tuesday afternoon. It did not impress me as one of the better Whataburgers that I have been to but it was OK. I did notice a worker wearing a bright safety vest in restroom who did not bother to pickup paper towels on sink. Then proceeded to restaurant behind counter and just walked around talking with everyone.

I came to this side of town to check out the Blue Bonnet scenery. On the way out, I figured I'd pay this old timer a visit. This whataburger location is very laid back. When I got in, there was a bunch of people all in front of lolly-gagging, or so it seemed 😅 After I ordered, I asked to sit in. I ordered my Patty Melt meal with an extra patty, with a side of Onion Rings and Strawberry Milkshake. After a few moments, food was brought out in a to go bag. Which didn't make any sense since I am dining in. Then, I had to ask for condiments and a tray. Not the service whataburger is usually known for. I looked past all of it since it looks like a teenager, and maybe he just didn't think it through. I thought the burger came out great and juicy. Bread was toasted the perfect amount. Onion rings could be a little crisper, but Milkshake made up for it since that was fantastic. They just need to tidy up their services, and it could be higher on the rating scale.

Sat in line for 25 mins, finally got my food but still couldn't leave because the car in front of me was still waiting. Tall bald guy who is the manager at the Brenham location is trying to pocket money big time. I order my same order no matter what location and it’s $13.57 #2 Cheese (add) pickles , ketchup, mustard, jalapeños(add) only. Medium meal lol the way around. At first I thought he missed my order somehow so I repeated it back to him and he back to me and said $15 and some change and my mouth dropped. I’m like noooo sir that’s not right I’ve never paid that at any location no matter what. He said “I can show you the receipt “ I said “yuuup I can show you all of mine too. I get this very often and it’s the same price at any location I go to. (He looks at the screen and kind of shrugs like I’m not sure what to tell ya type of manner ) I told him I’m not paying that. That’s not right and I’ve NEVVVER paid that. I offered to show me transactions of the same order with the same $13.57 I pay. So stay far away from this location. He’s clearly pocketing and upselling and thinks people don’t order their usual and we are clearly dumb. Same thing when I go to get coffee. I have my usual. Same price no matter when I go at the same branch. I called corporate since he’s the manger and trying to scam people and filed a nice complaint and they will be investigating him soon.
