Corto Maltese Brescia Reviews
Excellent, very retro tavern. Themed around Giuseppe Pelizza's painting "The Fourth Estate" and Corto Maltese. We had an appetizer of various delicious cold cuts, followed by the classic elephant ear. Nicola, Angela, and Antonella were courteous and very hospitable. Must try! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice place, kind and friendly staff, excellent dishes, generous portions just as I like them, use of quality ingredients, typical Brescian cuisine, paid the right price, we were a table of 11 people and everyone enjoyed it, recommended, we will definitely be back
A typical Brescian restaurant with trattoria-style decor where you can savor traditional Brescian dishes. The cotoletta was exceptional, as was the tagliata. I can't wait to return to try their famous casoncelli.
Delicious restaurant, friendly and sociable staff, limited menu because the dishes are all handmade with love. Generous portions, just the way I like them. I came for my birthday, and they set up a romantic table for two without anyone requesting anything. I felt at home and pampered. Definitely worth a try.
Excellent trattoria just steps from the center of Brescia. Booking in advance is recommended as there are only a few tables. If you want to eat traditional Brescian food, this is the perfect place. Casoncelli with butter and sage are superb, and the elephant ear cutlet is incredibly good. You risk overeating, and you'll go home feeling light, as any restaurant should. We'll definitely be back. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take photos in time, so I only have this one.
One evening for dinner. I returned after many years with friends to try the famous cotoletta. My friend had pasta and beans. Both dishes were truly delicious, and the cotoletta meat was tender and flavorful. The management has changed, but the quality is guaranteed. Compliments also for the desserts. I will definitely be back.

I loved this place because it's awesome. The owners are charming and they serve up some really good food 'for the people'. Lol. I had some ravioli in butter sauce that were right up there for best ever eaten. Thin pork cutlets with parsley and lemon was good and so was the green salad. Good condiments and wine with some fun added in.
The restaurant is reminiscent of typical Portuguese "tascas," family-run restaurants where you can eat very well and enjoy excellent value. We had casoncelli, horsemeat tagliata, and salad: everything was delicious, kudos to the kitchen! If I had to rate it: Food 5/5 Price 5/5 Service 4/5
This is best place in the world to have Milanese cotoletta. If you are hesitant don’t think twice and come to enjoy the best local food you can get. Casoncelli are also insane don’t miss out!

A historic Brescia trattoria serving traditional local dishes. The atmosphere retains the charm of the past. The staff is friendly and attentive. Good food, but as the sign says, "If you're in a hurry, don't order the cutlet." That's exactly what happened. Prices are reasonable, but not quite like a trattoria.
A typical Brescian restaurant that I visited with a friend. The food is home-cooked but excellent quality, and I highly recommend it. The casuncei and the cutlet (enormous) were delicious. The lady serving us was extremely kind and attentive to our needs. I had a vegetarian friend with me, and he was served perfectly. I'll definitely be back because I'm often in Brescia!
Ok
A simple and charming place, perhaps a little crowded with items that sometimes don't fit together well. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. The food was truly excellent and the portions were just right. Very good flavors. Typical local dishes. Easy to find, with street parking.
A traditional Brescian restaurant typical of the 1970s. Retro and simple decor and atmosphere. A limited menu, with just a few dishes, but with substance. The casoncelli and gnocchi are truly what a true Brescian seeks. The (enormous) cutlet, perfectly breaded and cooked to order. The house-made Sbrisolona cake accompanied by local grappa. Two first courses, two second courses, water, beer, dessert, and coffee are approximately €35 per person. If you want to eat here, be sure to reserve; seating is limited and the place isn't large.
“è da poche pretese” classica osteria , nella location nel tovagliato e nel servizio. casereccio al 100% casoncelli ottimi, come la carne e la cotoletta ( buona, ma nulla di che) arrivati a 7.30, fino alle 8 non potevi mangiare nulla perché il cuoco non c’è. diciamo che per il posto in se e il cibo .. 60 € in due è un po troppo..
A pleasant-looking trattoria with a nice blue-and-white checkered tablecloth and cloth napkin. I went there for lunch: two of us had a bottle of sparkling water, a side salad each, and two cutlets. Total: €30. Considering that the cutlet wasn't even veal, I don't think the price is exactly proletarian, like the characters hanging on the walls.
