Boardwalk Cafe & Pizzeria Brewster County Reviews
Pizza was very good and the service was great. We also tried their seasonal coffees and cookies. Everything was wonderful.
Omg! It's one of the BEST pepperoni pizzas I've had. Chessy, scrumptious, and the crust wasn't too thick. Great iced coffee. They had my favorite flavor...AMARETTO!!! Definitely will hit them up next time I'm in town.
Pizza was wonderful. Was nice to stumble upon this location. Great if you are hunkering for a snack.
Very friendly staff. Pizza and ice cream coffee are excellent.
Best pizza I ever had. So delicious 😋 Very lively and friendly staff
Great pizza! The latte and Lolache in the morning are great as well.

Great place to get coffee and bake goods. This was a short walk from our room and the staff was friendly.
Ordered a pizza for dinner. Had read online it could take up to 45 minutes. I asked for a time est so I could come back as we were enjoying drinks on the thirsty goat patio. She offered to deliver it to us and suggested grabbing some paper plates, etc to take with me. A few minutes after sitting back down on the patio, the cafe chef came out and replaced our paper plates with real ones and delivered fresh Parmesan. The pizza arrived in about 15 mins and was fantastic. A great experience all around!
Great modern and clean coffee shop in the Big Bend area right outside the Big Bend State Park. Located in a beautiful and surprisingly very green golf resort (we weren’t guests), the food and drinks were good and customer service was top notch. Hours when we went were 11 am to 9 pm (10 pm on weekends) which is helpful since most other places around close early. We had some tea and did some work on our laptops (good free wifi). Then we had their pizza and salad, both freshly made, and they also have veg pizza for us vegetarians. For a good coffee, quick bite, and friendly service would highly recommend.
When you are the only pizza place in the area you don’t have to be this good! The whole family was impressed. The kolaches were excellent as well, particularly in the jalapeño variety. Important note: though called a “bakery” this location does not have any fresh bread (baguette, etc.). Bakery items are limited to pastries.
The area is next to golf resort and they do a great job of making it seem like you’re not in the desert. Not a very good place if you’re looking for culture, but the food and service was amazing.

Great pizza. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Wide variety of canned & bottled beverages.

$16 for one sandwich, which was so-so. Restaurant and area is nice, as was service.

Pizza was fine... the review is 3 stars based upon the amount of flies in the restaurant. I know it’s a desert, but they could have tried swatting a few. They were everywhere and you couldn’t enjoy the pizza.

I didn't taste the pizza because of the 40 minute wait but I was really confused by this place. It's on the property of the golf resort and seems as though it's for the guests staying there more than it's a public place. It's WAY smaller than it looked online. That being said the blue berry muffin and HUGE cinnamon roll were very very good. The fruit in the fruit cup were fresh as can be and very good. I wouldn't go back unless I were staying at that resort. Not a place to stop at driving by.
This place is hidden from the road within a group of small stores including a bakery on the resort property. Adequate parking available. Only one size pizza so we got a meat and a veggie (island). Each probably feeds 2 normal people but my husband ate one all himself. I Liked everything but the crust which was in the cardboard category and not crispy at all. However next day cold pizza was not too bad. Will try another pizza joint up the road that always has a crowd next but in a pinch this one will do. Very convenient to RV park.
I wanted this to be good - decent pizza in the remote town of Lajitas. Based on the reviews it must just be people who are amazed to get pizza in such a remote location. It was fine but just a notch above frozen pizza. If your expectations are medium you will be ok but this is NOT 5 or even 4 star pizza. OK is the verdict.

Pizza oven was broken most of our stay. Cinamon rolls were dry with little cinamon or sugar not worth the money or calories threw them away.
Beware. The chef may profile you as not being a "guest" and kick you out without checking, regardless if you are a paying customer, guest, local, realtor for the area, with a guest or potential property owner/member/buyer. This is the third time that I have been asked to leave a Lajitas food establishment despite making it clear that I am allowed to be here, not that the rules are clear ar all as to who is able to patron. It is unacceptable to me that the has occurred even once, much less multiple times. Funny how I've been a paying customer in all restaurants here for years, but then out of the blue at times am asked to leave, even when the restaurant is empty. Do better, Lajitas. Respect is free.
AVOID THIS PLACE. My family and I waited almost an hour for 1 pizza. After playing and walking near the property, we realized we had still not received the pizza. When we went to check on the status of our order, the cashier told us the pizza cook had never received our ticket SMH. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE of the entire establishment. What a waste of time and gas driving here.
I never write reviews but...I ordered a muffin and americano. It pained the clerk to take my order. The americano was very very weak. Both employees looked upset and said it must be because it was one shot and asked if I wanted another. Americano is always plenty strong for me. I told them it didn't have to be americano and got the regular coffee which was very good and VERY strong. And there were no other customers. This is a very upscale resort.
