Starbucks Broad Reviews
Has to be the most friendly and professional Starbucks I’ve been in -:)
This is my favorite Starbucks in Manhattan. One of the baristas knows my name and drink order and is always super nice. There’s lots of places to sit too, and I often come in to work, really convenient cause they also have a bathroom that is relatively clean and they’re always playing really relaxing music.
The Starbucks at 55 Broad St, in the heart of the Financial District, is a great spot for both convenience and comfort in New York City. The décor is modern and stylish, but what really stands out is an old clock right in the middle of the main hall, blending beautifully with the contemporary design. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a nice place for a quick break or to get some work done on your laptop. The store offers a working area and, as in most Starbucks locations, provides free Wi-Fi for customers. It’s also accessible, with easy access for people with reduced mobility. I placed my order through the official website and picked it up at the store: the packaging was very well made and secure, so I was able to take my latte home safely. Back at home, I enjoyed it with a simple buttered bread I toasted on the pan — a Brazilian touch that made the experience even better. The menu includes many different coffee options and quick bites for any time of the day. The mugs and tumblers available for purchase are also beautiful souvenirs to take from NYC. I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were friendly and efficient with my order. 🌟 Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for quality coffee, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere to either relax or get some work done.
On my way to work this morning, I got myself a cup of strawberry matcha to start my day. This location makes the perfect Strawberry Matcha Frappuccino. The subtle of the strawberries’ sweetness perfectly complement the matcha flavor without overpowering matcha’s earthy and grassy aroma. The interior design of the location is very unique—Romantic. It stands out among other nearby Starbucks in the financial district. My loved one got me the first cup of Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino here the other day (I am a fan of matcha), I was immediately impressed by it. It does not make you feel a sugary of sweetness lingers in your mouth after you finish the whole cup.
The service here is fast and friendly. The best barista is Saige. She has such a kind soul! Also, there’s barely any wait at this location. Maybe it’s better to get there early.
I visited this Starbucks location this morning and was truly impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The team, made up of amazing Black baristas, went above and beyond to make my experience great. They handled my order with care, and when I needed a change, they accommodated it without hesitation and with a smile. In a world where good customer service isn't always guaranteed, their warmth and efficiency really stood out. Huge thanks to the team-I'll definitely be back only at this location, Free Gaza!
After touring the bull statue, I finished taking photos of the stock exchange in New York. I wanted to drink a coffee, and I found that Starbucks had about 1,000 more reviews, and the stars were not bad, so I went into the store. The atmosphere was very good.I see a lot of seatings that are very classic. The whole decoration in the shop is very comfortable and also I see some wireless charging pad on the table. However, when I try to use them and looks like they're broken, my phone was not charging so I just use the electricity outlet which works just fine. I have the adapter any way. I ordered a black coffee with cup. Does that look surprised? I guess there aren't very few people who ordered coffee in a cup. They went in to the back of the store to bring Starbucks cup for me. They don't even have the cup on the outside. I guess there are many people ordering coffee with paper cup. If you go there in summer, be sure to wear your jacket because the air conditioner is very strong and you're going to feel cold if you want a t-shirt.
Much needed coffee stop, staff polite and helpful Was late at night and after a busy day would have loved some seating, but it was standing only. Staff were busy serving and some tidying the store and the floor area. Coffe was good and hot, as already said , some seating would have been welcomed.
The most beautiful Starbucks in NYC probably! 1971 street lamps inside and beautiful little tables, retro stalls with coffee backgrounds and marble tables with charging spots. A long table to sit at by the front window. Unfortunately the NFC charging spots at our table weren't working. Friendly and professional cashier who waited for me to have change by my partner as they didn't have it for a 100$ bill and offered me a warm blueberry muffin just right out of the oven. Clean unisex toilette without need of mandatory purchases (which we did anyway after!). The atmosphere is very old fashioned with a modern beat, loved it overall. Only flaw: it's freezing inside! Turn the AC a bit down please... (See picture of the outside window with condensation showing)
(Update: Yes I have let corporate know. Thank you.) I stopped by early Oct 18 Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. to grab coffee and breakfast before meeting friends with my wife and baby, and the woman working the coffee station (wearing a grey beanie) was unbelievably rude. I politely said “excuse me” several times to ask for the restroom code as the baby needed to be changed — completely ignored. I finally had to raise my voice just to get her attention. When she finally acknowledged me, she acted like I was inconveniencing her by existing. If you’re going to work in a customer-facing job, basic courtesy should be the bare minimum. The attitude and unwillingness to even respond made the whole experience uncomfortable and unnecessary. It’s early, sure, but if you can’t handle being polite to paying customers, maybe it’s time to rethink working in hospitality. To the manager and owner of this location: Is this really what Starbucks head office considers acceptable from franchise employees? If so, it reflects poorly on the value this store places on customer service and proper staff training. Being polite isn’t optional when you’re representing a business. It’s not that hard to treat people with a little kindness and respect. If engaging with customers feels like too much effort, maybe it’s time to reconsider working in a customer-facing role. Absolutely disappointing start to the day.
Honestly as a starbuck customer I had the worst experience ever..I stopped by and asked to use the bathroom, the manager was so rude and disrespectful after she told me I had to buy something in order to get a code, I just had coffee at another location and only stopped there because I was desperate to use the rest room..I then saw another customer and asked her since she was buying something if she could let me use her code..The little short disrespectful manager screamed at me and said she would called the cops. I was so embarrassed. I hope this starbucks will be amongst the ones closing. This policy is a real slap in the faces of their dedicated customers. I will never visit that location again, and Honestly since then I haven't been to another Starbucks.
The guy who took my order. Tip himself with 5 dollars without my permission. I pay with my Apple Pay for a medium cappuccino. That is like 6,50 dollars. At the end at the day I saw my balance and they took like 11 dollars. Went the next day and the lady in charge say she can do anything about it because the guy didn’t give a receipt that day. But I show her the purchase on my app with the store location and time, but she said she can’t do anything about it. Be careful with this place cause baristas would put any tip they want in your order without your permission. Always ask for the print receipt.
The dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been in. Not a single person working there cares about clients or cleanliness. Just look at where the soap is for washing hands....in a Starbucks coffee cup that everyone has touched. If it's soap at all!!! The place is disgusting. Coffee is also average. Avoid.
