Pacific Java Broadmoor Reviews
Tried the Rockaway latte which was delicious, just the right level of sweetness. Staff was friendly and serving was quick. Shop is located in a cute little corner.
This is a charming coffee shop just a minute's walk from the beach. It has two floors with plenty of seating, and throughout our visit, there was beautiful live piano music playing. They also offer some specialty coffee drinks. I really love this place!
It's a local cozy clean cut coffee shop with lots of varieties of drinks pastries and snacks. Has decent amount of tables in two floors. Friendly staff with quick service. Great place for study with reading and relaxing. Close to shore for walk and hike trails.
Going to this cafe has a always been a nice experience. There are so many good drinks to order. Great for hanging out with friends, studying, or drawing. My favorite time to be here is when someone plays the piano on the first floor, and I love how well it can be heard from the second. I have to point out that every corner of this place is decorated with charming objects, succulents, and paintings, and the natural sunlight that comes in perfectly sets the vibe. This is truly my favorite place.
Super cute spot! Great coffee options. True Italian style coffees as well as chain style adaptations. Good was limited but were very tasty. Local suggestions as well. Staff was super nice and thoughtful.
Th salted caramel latte was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’m extremely selective with my coffees. The first sip is the most important and this sip put an immediate smile on my face. I came in here after a walk with my son one rainy afternoon for the first time & I was a bit hesitant just because I’d never been here. It’s a quaint little cafe, alongside other local boutiques, with charming aesthetics & comfortable seating areas, including a loft for privacy & quietness. The server (maybe owner) was very friendly and personable, taking time to chat with customers while serving. My son ordered the Italian soda and I ordered the salted caramel latte, which did not at all disappoint. Both drinks were made to perfection and we were both so satisfied. We will come back here again because now I’m craving it. Thanks so much! The beach is walkable, just behind the cafe, so it’s the perfect location.
Favorite spot (other than the beach) to relax, chat, play games, etc when we're in town. They even gave my son a "foamy dog" on his hot chocolate! I love that it isn't a chain, it's quaint, unique chairs and other decor. A gentleman came in and played the piano for awhile, which we also really enjoyed! Great atmosphere!
What a cute spot - found this cafe thanks to Guess Where Trips! Owner was super friendly and my lavender London Fog latte was super yummy! :) Close to the beach and trails, so a great spot to grab a coffee to-go and enjoy the surrounding nature!
Great salted caramel latte. Hidden gem in Pacifica. Has comfy seating and WiFi
Very cute little coffee shop. With really good drink fairly priced. It is spot on with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is classic and good. The staff are gem, beautiful people who are just happy to be here and serve you good coffee or in m'case a Macha Latte. One of those spot, I wished I could give an extra star or something because this is perfectly sweet. Cheers.
I really enjoy this place. Cute and comfortable setting with study space and outlets. 2 min walk to the water. Interesting selection of classic and inventive drinks. Limited but delicious selection of pastries and breakfast foods. And when we were there there was live music on the piano too. A great getaway from busier SF.
“Hey, I want coffee.” Traveling down Highway 1 and made an immediate right into this shopping center. The two girls working this morning were very pleasant and made some of the best speciality coffee drinks we’ve had. Personally, I got one of the local favorites, Rockaway Ricky Mocha. We also ordered a white chocolate mocha and the English Zebra Mocha. Lastly, we each got a maple honeybun and those were something I never knew I needed in my life.
This is such a sweet place. Good coffee and tea choices. Delicious pastries - with some special local treats amongst them. Sit inside downstairs or upstairs - or outside. Play or listen to the piano. Play games, read, chat, watch the world go by. Dog-friendly outside. After getting your coffee or tea, walk over to enjoy the waves at Rockaway. Public bathroom available in the little center where the cafe is located. Parking across the street from the cafe.

It is a small quaint coffee shop it's located close to the Pacifica beach. Close to Nick's Restaurant a lot of beautiful little shops to visit. They have a piano player in the coffee shop. Many specialty coffee drinks, as well as tea. An arrangement of goodies, scones muffins, cookies lemon bars. As well as some breakfast croissant with egg and bacon. They have outside seating. It's a fantastic place to come and relax and have a cup of joe.

Amazing coffee , amazing bagels, amazing people, amazing location. I went on Monday morning the two young men working there were amazing very respectful very good energy. Thank you, you guys made my day better 💕💕😘
Their single espresso instantly brought me back to my homeland in France. Amazing how a good coffee can make you travel. I also tried their snickerdoodle cookie it was perfectly balanced and had a good texture; it was one the best I’ve had in a long time.
Cute coffee shop for a latte and dessert. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered lattes, banana bread and a peanut butter cookie half dipped in chocolate. All were pretty tasty. There are some sitting spots indoor but we moved the table around outside towards shade and enjoyed the breeze.
came here on a saturday afternoon and there were tables available! ordered the rockaway ricky and the toasted latte. both lattes were flavored well but wish the coffee was stronger. the atmosphere is very cozy and quaint, with board games and cards available to play. whoever was on aux was doing great with the music as well, a good mix of indie chill. the decor is also very on-theme and complements the vibe. overall, nice cafe to hang out at for awhile.
If Pinterest had a beach baby with a caffeine addiction, it would be Pacifica Java. This tiny seaside café in Pacifica, CA is so charming it might actually be judging you for not wearing Birkenstocks. I went with the Salted Caramel Latte iced, which was basically dessert disguised as a beverage—and I’m not mad about it. Sweet, salty, cold, and sassy. Like me, if I were a drink. My wife, ever the connoisseur of drinks with animal names, got the English Zebra Mocha. She was very pleased, which means it was either delicious or just didn’t make her raise an eyebrow. Either way: win. If you’re not into delicious drinks, cute vibes, or tiny shops that make you feel like you stumbled into someone’s well-curated dream journal, then maybe keep driving. But if you like caffeine with coastline and a hint of quirk, Pacifica Java’s your jam. Want me to crank it up with some poetic sass or turn it into a Yelp-worthy roast? I’m all ears.
This place is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat and have a cuppa coffee with a friend. It is close to a lot of little shops and a very short walk to the beach. The food is good they have a good assortment of pastries! I personally like like iced teas here.
Very cute place! Seemed a little understaffed, you could tell the baristas were stressed this morning but nonetheless they persevered! I got the Matcha latte with vanilla and oat milk, and while it wasn't too bad, there were still chunks at the bottom of my matcha unfortunately. I'd definitely love to give this place another go if we're ever back in Pacifica!

Great cozy spot to read or relax. Coffee is okay, but would be great if they had more food options. Bring in pastries from local shops or more basic sandwich options would make it a more regular spot for me.

I love this spot! My sister used to work here while I was growing up as well as a few friends while I was in my teens. It has always been a peaceful place to draw, read, catch up with a friend, and sip coffee with a snack. They have changed ownership a number of times and always retained good quality! From time to time a man will come in and play piano on the out of tune wooden one. Mostly 60s-early 80s music, he knows all the lyrics too! The landscape artwork by Pam Anderberg is really phenomenal and matches the coastal energy of the cafe. Couldn’t speak higher of a cafe in Pacifica! The line can be a bit overwhelming on weekends if there is an event. When there was a running event I think it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and muffin. Reducing a star because of a female barista here that gave terrible service. I asked if I could order two separate single shot espressos, instead of a double shot to which she responded “take your scam somewhere else this is a small business etc.” and generally took a harsh tone. I still ordered and just got a double shot. When I gave her cash for this, she tossed the change back across the counter from my purchase which slid onto the floor. This interaction has stuck with me as I’ve never had a problem visiting this cafe before. Anytime I see this barista behind the counter I decide I’ll just have coffee at home instead.
Pacific Java Cafe is still okay for food. But has a couple of problems with drink and access. If you are a tea drinker then you might want o think about either, bringing your own tea ball, or disposable tea bag. The strainer currently in use here must be damaged because tea leaves are being let through the strainer that is in use. Also, they no longer will provide their loose tea inside of a disposable tea bags they had previously done. Another issue with current tea strainer use is their tendency to over-steep the tea. Be very specific with your instructions, and follow up, for your tea preparation requirements. WiFi access is currently kaput! If you need an internet connection then go to some other cafe or restaurant. Mobile service in this part of Pacifica is also very poor for every mobile provider. So don't expect to use your phone for internet while at Pacific Java Cafe. All this is either a curse, or a blessing, depending on your needs at the time. Other than the problems above expect a cute and clean little cafe with good drinks and food only block from the ocean and hiking trails. Maybe Pacific Java Cafe will have their issues resolved on the next visit
