Eppig Brewing Broadway Reviews
Great location and delicious beer! The tasting room is right on the water, has plenty of seating with views of the marina and has regular food pop-ups. They don't have a huge variety of beer but everything they brew is delicious. The Japanese lager is is particularly good.
This brewery is in a great location and offers an excellent selection of beers. You can grab food from nearby places and bring it here to enjoy alongside the wide variety of beers, all while taking in the beautiful views of the yachts and piers in the fresh air. I absolutely recommend this place for a fun evening out.
It may be one of the best tap locations I know. Sitting at the marina front, drinking beer in the sun, and seeing an occasional seal in the water was priceless. On top of that, their beers are really worth the whole buzz and acclamation they get. The place itself looks great. The service is quick and knows their beers. A must see if you are in the area.
This place rocks! Staff is a good time and they always take great care of the guests. They have pop-up food vendors on most nights of the week. Golf simulator going on inside as well.
Amazing little open air brewery with quick service, a small menu from an outside grill and awesome views of the water and bay. Great for fair weather. Great for families and parties. Food offerings are simple but good. Beers range from Pilsners and Mexican lagers to Ciders and a German FiestBier.
This is one of my favorite breweries of all time! Beautiful views right on the water and great beer
We hosted our wedding welcome party at Eppig, and can't recommend them highly enough for your next event. We had the hardest time finding a venue to host our party at-- we wanted something casual and fun, but elevated enough to show off San Diego's beauty. Eppig fit the bill and couldn't have been more perfect. The whole team was super communicative from the outset (another issue we had with other venues we considered!), and answered all of our questions in a timely and kind fashion. The party itself (via our full buyout of the space) was amazing. The views from the Biergarten are stunning, we were permitted to cater food from Salud Tacos which was delicious, and the beer was incredible. The prices at Eppig were super fair given all that we were offered: great beer, great views, great party space. But beyond all of that, the servers and team the day of were so kind and wonderful to work with. Can't recommend Eppig enough. Thanks for being such a special part of our big weekend!
This is a great brewery! Had an unexpected layover in SD and this was a highlight. Great beer on the bay here. Really enjoyed the cherry sour—with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. It was amazing and I still think about it. The patio was really nice either way benches at large tables for groups and Adirondack chairs with heaters by the water. The staff were knowledgeable and incredible personable. Would recommend Eppig to anyone visiting SD.
Last stop on our Escondido San Diego beer trip was Eppig Brewing on the waterfront. Straight up, their beers were the best we had so far. Their traditional German Brewing Techniques creates some of the best beers you'll have. My favorites were their Octoberfest and Dry Rice Lagers. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Moreover, the place in general is visually awesome. Right off the waterfront, next to all the boats docked in the harbor. This place is an absolute MUST visit.
Great place to grab a drink with a view of the waterfront. Good variety of beer styles. The only negative is the parking. You will have to find parking on the street, and depending on the time of day, it may be several blocks away.
I stopped at this brewery as I was eating at a restaurant nearby and had I not, I probably would have missed this brewery all together on my visit. Turned out it was some of the best beer I had in San Diego (and that's saying a lot!) Granted, I was only able to stay for one but it was a tasty one! The space is great as well, right on the water and with both covered openaire and sun-filled seating. Make this stop a priority on your visit to San Diego! They also have a location in La Jolla.
This brewery offers one of the best views of the waterfront, making it the perfect spot to kick back and relax. The chill atmosphere is ideal for unwinding, whether you’re solo or with friends, and the affordable beers make it easy to stay for a while. With the combination of great drinks, a laid-back vibe, and breathtaking scenery, you’ll definitely want to vibe out here for a couple of hours. Highly recommend stopping by!
This brewery has excellent, diverse beer options and an incredible spot right on the water. My favorites were the 10:45 and the Special Lager (Japanese style dry). There are plenty of food options nearby. Good seating and very friendly staff as well.
OMG, best place for a cold brew next to the water. I had the 10:45 to Denver IPA, delicious.
Fantastic place right on the water next to Point Loma seafoods. With the pandemic we had to wait about 20 minutes but we were then seated at a fantastic spot overlooking the water. The beers we ordered were all great and we will definitely be coming back soon!
Wonderful and friendly crew and a great selection of tasty brews to try.
Eppig is the brewery I keep coming back to when I visit San Diego. I love the location right by the water with chairs available to sit and enjoy the view. Michelada option is not too much mix like a lot of places. Crisp/delicious unfussy beer options. I think there is something for everyone and the vibes are chill/relaxing
oh my word! what a bar!. Just go, beautiful views, great beers, friendly service, nice clean area. All you could wish for. We visited with our child and it was fantastic.

Really good beer and great service. And of course you can't beat that view.
Wonderful and friendly crew and a great selection of tasty brews to try.
Great beer and atmosphere. To top it off they had an amazing food vendor, Beach Bum Burgers. Best burgers in San Diego. Beautiful views, too.
Eppig is the BEST! We were lucky enough to have our wedding welcome party here in September and it was such a fantastic experience! From the moment we inquired, we were treated with such professionalism and warmth. Eppig went out of their way to accommodate us and made sure our event was perfect! The location is hard to beat, and the beer is delicious. Our out of town guests had the best time and got to experience their first San Diego sunset from the most beautiful brewery! Shout out to Britten for her stellar communication, thanks Eppig!
The best place to park is at Fisherman's Landing. Street parking is very limited. Outdoor seating only. If you come here at night, wear something warm because they have limited heaters. Love their porters. The only bad thing here was, I waited for 5 minutes before I was seated. The staff could be clearly seen chatting and laughing. There were lots of tables they could've seat me. Thy saw me standing there and didn't care. Bad service.

This is a fantastic tasting room that I've visited many times over the years. Simply amazing views and true SD vibes. The thing that disappoints is that Eppig Brewing is not longer owned by original family, and sold to Grant Tondo (Mason Ale Works). Now all of the original beers are now contract brewed by AleSmith and in doing so the overall quality of the original beers have been ruined. Nothing tastes the same and that's a shame for all of us that loved and supported the Original Eppig Family Beers. 2-Stars only for the room. ~Sad.
