Great Food and excellent Service. Brunch time is very well prepared with two menus as options. Owner is there all the time and always has a wide selection of music to make your evening pleasurable while you eat.

The waiter Benjamin was very knowledgeable and patient. The guy described in great detail almost all of the meals and appetizers. The food was delicious. I cant speak on the drinks cause I dont drink alcohol. But it was a good night and I would def recommend.

The food is excellent y para Los gringos, there's a menu too! The drinks are good and the atmosphere is for any occasion, even just to chill. Don't take my word tho, go and see for yourself! Probably the best Mexican food in NYC. great people, very reasonably priced. The deli side is old school, the restaurant is the new development. I still prefer the deli, but the restaurant has the same great food and also all kinds of good tequila drinks and so forth.

Good chicken or shrimp tacos. Sometimes you are charged gratuities for a party of two and so times not. They recently stopped accepting credit cards, so bring cash. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating.

Super chill little place right near the Hewes Street station on the J/M line. Call ahead and make reservations and sit in the back in an awesome outdoor patio with candles, string lights and nice wooden tables. Makes you forget you're in south Williamsburg. The mango mojito is excellent as was the tamarind margarita. The food is great, guacamole was on point, mussels were cooked perfectly. Definitely a nice place for a date or hanging with the crew.

Best burrito I've had in this city since Lucha Lucha closed! Hot sauce was spicy and sweet. Structural integrity left something to be desired, but it was a great and well put together burrito plate. We got carnitas, chicken, chorizo, and steak in a variety of dishes for take out; all were very well done.

Glad they re-opened their outdoor space in the back. It’s very rare that you get exactly what you’re craving, and Mexico 2000 came through! Everything was delicious and fresh. The garnish on the margs is always a nice touch. Would’ve taken more pics, but was too busy eating all the things.

Went on a Wednesday night after work, and it was pretty empty. Happy hour was going on which I loved and the food was affordable. Got mojitos and sangrias for $7 each. Food was well prepared. No complains here.

Happy hour has great deals. The staff is great and the chorizo taco is to die for. If you like spicy Mexican food this is the place. If you don't like spicy they probably have something for you too.

The food is delicious and in quality portions. Definitely had to take home some. The appetizers were flavorful. Stuffed plantain ...a 10 out of 10. Ambience is that of a night out, date or bar hopping for food and drinks. Staff is very friendly.

Place was not busy. Went there for a quick bite and drink. Chipotle octopus was really good. Love calamari but was a bit chewy. Waitress was nice. Pretty good service. Especially she was tending bar as well as taking care of ppl at tables. But again was not busy. 4 at the bar and 6 ppl including me at tables. But still not fair for waitress. But a nice place to go to and have a quick bite and drink after work.

Decent prices on food and drinks, especially during happy hours (I was there on Friday). I had the ravioli appetizers with a sangria. Both were phenomenal! I'm helping this amazing local business stay alive as I make my payments through the Cinch Wallet app, which allows me to save 10% or more!!!! It's all worth it everyone!

Very nice quaint Mexican restaurant. They have special days like "taco Tuesday- 3 tacos with margarita for $18". I ordered the chicken burrito on this particular Tuesday. Unfortunately I had to take it to go, instead of sitting down in this swanky and quaint restaurant. The food, I would rage between 8-9. Friendly staff... Everything here is above par ✨️ IMO.

This was my second time here. My food was so delicious both times. Large portions as well. I took some home. The drinks are well made and pretty strong. The service was subpar though. There were literally three tables (including mine) that had patrons but the servers were forgetful, slow and lacked attentiveness. Everything took forever, from the lemon for our water down to the bill.

Place is ok. Food needs work. I had lengua tocos. meat wasn't hard but it wasn't fresh. Felt frozen and reheated.the sauce is transfer thru the tables and I think is health hazard. Noone know what the other person drop in the sauce. My passion fruit margarita had. a weird taste to it as if the fruit juice was not good anymore. . For the place and the area. 15 dollars margarita 🤔 I think is over the limit. Plus. They add the tip 20% and plus they give u a bill with a credit card fee charged on it. Service is not a 20% gratuity is more like. 15%. Well is a place I won't visit anymore.

Vibe: Really big spot with a outdoor space in the back you can’t tell from the outside. Friendly service. Drink: Really back, got the mojitos and the classic one was very limey and the jalapeño one didn’t even have mint.. Hookah: $35 for one of 3 flavor options they have. No refill on the coal so thats pricy. Also big dealbreaker, they reuse the disposable pipes!! They were just washed you can even see it was still wet inside. Which is gross! Pricy spot, would maybe come back for drink or a snack but overall not the best bang for your buck.

Came here after hearing good stories from friends, but unfortunately not the same experience they had. For this price range, you can easily get better and more varied options (also in lower price ranges). Service was nice, and so was the guacamole but otherwise not worth it - overpriced and nothing special.

Do you want to be nickel and dimed? The food was good but the server had an attitude. They charged $5 for chips and salsa. My experience in most Mexican restaurants, it is complimentary. They charged an extra $8 to use a credit card. They charged $6 for soda water with lime. They included a 20% tip on a party of 5, that were regulars!

I went as a party of 3 and the service was not good, we had to ask for the same item more than once, it wasn’t busy and we had to wait a long time to receive our food and drinks our server wasn’t attentive… also the sliver wear didn’t look clean so we ended up asking for plastic utensils… the enchiladas verde were pretty good but not worth the trip if your traveling . And they are a cash only restaurant!

Took so long I changed my mind and “other” people who came in after me had Been tended to. When I wanted to leave the manager kept asking me why. After telling him 4x I just don’t want to eat here anymore as he stood there like he wasn’t going to let me leave. Such an odd experience. The place looks nice service is just trash.

If I cold rate this restaurant zero stars I would have. The worst mexican food I ever had! Besides receiving the food cold, we were given the incorrect items. The food was overpriced for the quality. The chile rellenos were two very small, thin, greesy and dried up chiles with cheese that tasted hard and stale. The type of tostadas were incorrect, we received vegetarian instead of what we asked for. It was gross, the potatoes they put with the vegetables were raw. The whole experience was just awful!

If you are trying to order from the grocery next door, be warned, THIS IS NOT IT BUT THE RESTAURANT. I have found the food to be worse here than the actual deli. Also, when I called, they did not clarify that it was the actual restaurant despite the picture of the deli being the first photo on google (they’re trying to pull a fast one) Plus they got my order wrong. And the food tasted stale. Particularly the tortillas tasted old. On top of it all it is more expensive than the grocery. Be warned, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU WANT THE GROCERY. Either way I won’t be ordering from either place now as they seem to have become untrustworthy.

I really wanted to try this place out I knew it was going to be busy it being cinco de Mayo today had a 6 PM reservation off the bat the girls had a bad attitude they told me they couldn’t find my reservation I asked what was the waiting time for a table for 8 people I was told one hour I said fine I’ll wait gave the girl my number to call me told her I will wait outside at 8:30 PM went in to check got more attitude so I decided to go back outside when a table was ready it is now 9:13 PM i never got a call back. Please make sure you call and confirm your reservations before getting there so there’s no confusion

Attended a party there in the back. It was a nice back area and the weather was perfect. However, my wife's food and my food was terrible. She said her chicken quesadilla taste rancid so she didn't eat it. Then my steak quesadilla taste tough. The drinks where watered down and they tried to over charge the rest of the party. Worst of all the next day I got sick from the food. Never again will I go back.

I rarely write poor reviews but I felt inclined to do so because I never experienced a dining experience like this before, as an avid diner in NYC. My friend and I made reservations on Open Table for 2:30pm for outdoors. We were not seated until 3pm and was informed that outside was completely full and they only had inside dining available. When we explained to them that this was unacceptable the host/server walked away when we were mid-sentence. My friend came all the way from Jersey and we just wanted to catch up, so we said let's just sit indoors. After 15 min, I had to flag down the bartender to bring us water. It was a hot day and the ceiling fans were not on. It then took another 10 min to bring a menu to our table and they only had one, with the explanation that it was the last brunch menu they had at the moment and brunch was ending at 4pm. At this point, we were really appalled at the service and we decided to leave. On the way out, we saw a couple that was seated after us had their drinks already. I do not recommend this place at all. I understand restaurants are short staffed but why accept the reservation in that case.

First of all there’s a deli with the same name right next to it so my friends and I were confused but we found it. Now when we got there it was no one to greet us which was unwelcoming. It was either you sit inside or outside I recommend sitting inside, we seated ourselves and had to wipe our table down because no one came to do it. We were sitting down for twenty minutes and no one came with no menus so I got up and took menus from an unoccupied table. Still sitting there and the workers were just walking past us my friend stopped one of them and told him we were ready to order so he took our order, long story short it was bad service, unseasoned food and rats running back and forth from the kitchen to the street. I know it’s Brooklyn but they can do better

This restaurant is a bit mysterious in term of how they run their business. I was checking some personal finance today (15 Feb 2024) and found out that this restaurant had deposited $16.93 (twice) yesterday (14 Feb 2024). The last time I have been in this restaurant was around between Aug-Oct 2023. I tried to speak to the manager over the phone today (15 Feb 2024) on why they deposit this amount yesterday. But the conversation just got shortcut to “we’re busy, call at another time”. Not only I was being nice on the phone and trying to get some answers but the man over the phone was rude and not willing to help since he also mentioned that he’s the manager. I am currently in Canada and there’s no way I can use my bank card yesterday in the US. Not to mentioned I’ve been in Canada since Nov 2023. I need some answers and this needs to be investigated.

Server brought wrong drinks and wrong order to the table, no remorse or effort to make corrections. Took over an hour to receive drinks and never received food order. Server never even brought water to the table after we asked. Understandable it was a busy night however we watched other tables receive much better service and attention. We were basically ignored for close to two hours.

From the moment my friend and I entered, the service was terrible. We waiting almost 20 minutes for the first drink and the second drink ordered never came. The food was so bland that I took it to go to give to a homeless person on the way home. We waited forever for the bill and we were charged for drinks we didn't order and they had the nerve to charge us an 18% gratuity for the worse service ever!

Food taste great but without hair. Second time I find hair in my delivered food. They are quick with getting me a new order but second time this happens. They will not argue and apologize but def someone needs to oversee this!
