The Clonard Albee Square Reviews
Didn’t try the food but had plenty of creamers. Competes with Hartley’s for a perfect Guinness pour in town. Awesome vibe for big group! Them servers all super cool and quick.
A fantastic bar I stumbled upon by chance on a Friday evening for a beer! The staff are very friendly and cheerful, the music is great, and the atmosphere is wonderful! love you guys!!
Loved the vibe here. Enjoyed the Christmas decorations. It is a nice space inside but I really enjoyed sitting in the backyard. People are friendly here. The prices are good. I didn't try the food so I can't rate it. My only complaint is that I paid cash and was charged the C.C. fee anyway, I guess it's on me because I didn't check the bill in that moment. However since I paid cash it should never have been on there. I definitely would come back and next time I might try some food.
We found this great spot on Grand st. We were actually in our way to Whiskey on Grand but it was closed. We bounced around a we other bars that were open but non of them took cards, so right off the bat this place has already some big points. It is open early for champions league games and they take cards. Their happy hour is great!! $6 wells, $6 bites!!! They have a bunch of tvs and they will play whatever game you’re looking for. Also, for my NEW JERSEY football teams, they give free shots with every touch down from our neighbors the Jets and the Giants. Great spot, can’t wait to go back good Bills!!!
Awesome spot! Great ambience for a Sunday crowd. We left our Credit card there and they are offering to mail it to us since we live in DC. Such good people
The Guinness is top notch, the bartenders are always amazing, and all the food is delicious (bangers and mash!) I love coming here every time and will keep coming back. They also show all the big sports matches (I usually don’t care, but they will try to get whatever game you want to see on one of the TVs if possible!)
Very happy with our decision to stop in for dinner at The Clonard. Split a "spice bag" which I've only seen on social media, and was glad to try the American version with fries, chicken and peppers in a savory curry sauce. Burger was juicy and side Ceasar hit the right spot. Server was nice, good draft beers. Would go back. Fun decorations for Halloween.
Had the best breakfast here thanks to Nessa!! She was so kind, attentive and friendly. The food and vibe was great, and the Irish breakfast is the best I’ve had in NY! Can't recommend enough, and thanks again Nessa!
Wonderful bar in Williamsburg with a very warm welcome for all! We visited twice and enjoyed the relaxed cosy atmosphere, drinks and the delicious breakfast menu. Irish breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the French toast was to die for as well. Would highly recommend!
This is one of the best new bars in Williamsburg! The place is very warm and inviting. The staff are friendly and are ready to serve you and make you feel welcomed. The owner Kieran came up to us and welcome us. He treated us like he knew us for years. The beer selection was top notch. The bartenders were amazing! We had the Clonard burger, it was very good. We will definitely be back. 5 Stars Absolutely!!
Chill atmosphere and awesome service. Great food as well!!! Nice to see this classy Irish bar come to life in the heart of Williamsburg!! Check out their Happy Hour!!
Such a nice, quiet, comfortable Irish pub. A really nice backyard area to hang out, a great selection of drinks, and the staff is top notch. My favorite bar in the neighborhood when I visit Brooklyn.

An absolutely brilliant night. Popped in as saw some live music was going to be playing. Fantastic Guiness, up there with Irish quality, loved the food and the live music was great. Service so friendly and welcoming.
Loved the energy here. Honestly, best decorated Irish bar in Williamsburg. Cillian was such a welcoming vibe, excited to find a new spot to bring friends!
Food is delicious. Trad music on Thursdays is great. Such a lovely Belfast pub in BK.
Fantastic bar food! Totally above and beyond delicious with a really professional and friendly staff! Definitely worth stopping in
Every aspect of the experience satisfies what I'm looking for. Excellent staff attention with speedy meal delivery. They offer generous servings at standard prices. The restaurant keeps the menu simple. The app steered me to a great place.
It's obvious the owner loves this niche he's carved to the benefit of all locals and tourists alike. The food is unmatched and the service is as instantaneous as their welcome. My only worry is it'll become too popular. 5 stars

dangerously close to a boston bar in brooklyn but its allowable because the mango slush is excellent. the wall paper at the backbar said some disturbing things about nate robinson.
Curry chips fantastic. The burger not so much. I went during brunch on a Saturday. The burger did not look like anything in the photos. I thought this was am upscale Irish pub. Seemed the food was a bit dive bar quality.
