Taste Of China Broadway Reviews
Great Food, first time I tried in and wow, everything was excellent, including the man in the front that helped me with my order! I got the General Tsos Chicken white rice, I would have to say the best Tsos in Queens. Also got broccoli garlic sauce and wow garlic sauce tastes like a grandmama make it! 10 stars if I could.
I find it to be the best tasting Chinese food area in the place. I'm not talking about five star Chinese I'm talking about the normal Corner Chinese store. And it tastes great. Nothing is overly cooked or undercooked or water down. Food is great and clean
This place is one of my favorites, they are SO nice too. Never had bad service or a bad meal, EVERYTHING i ordered here was good they do NOT miss. Highly recommend if you live in the neighborhood and even if you don’t!
I love this place. It will definitely be my go-to Chinese food restaurant in my neighborhood. And the family that owns it are really kind and sweet.
Excellent experience, very fast service and reliable in terms of closing time. I ended up going by the last minute and they still served. I tried speciality S.11 I love how much variety they have, spécially in white meat, very fresh the scallops, crab and fish, beef fried rice was awesome. I would be back, Simon was amazing too, helped a lot with my questions. Also I am very picky with food, they use 100% vegetable oil and no MSG. They have also Teas! That's lovely.
The best takeout Chinese food there is!! Food is always cooked fresh, the family is really sweet and super accommodating as well. HIGHLY recommend the sesame chicken, bean curd home style, and hot and sour soup
Ordered delivery — scallion pancakes, Szechuan wontons, pork egg roll and house special lo mein. Everything hit the spot, but the wontons — I expected something spicy as advertised (tossed in chili oil etc.) but they had no spice, tasting smothered in peanut butter. Just really sticky, chunky and weird.
They are soooo nice and even remember our order. We go a couple times a week and we always look forward to it. A staple of the community. The food is awesome and decidant. I suggest the general tso tofu! Great vegan option.
My wife was in the hospital for a few days leading up to, during, and after a complicated childbirth. I was bouncing back and forth feeding cats and stopped twice to get late night takeout from this place. Got the wings, egg foo young, and moo shu pork. Everything was cheap and surprisingly really good. It helped me through a stressful time and we will definitely get food from here again.
The food tasted terrible and made us sick. I stopped eating my Homestyle Bean Curd after a few bites because it tasted like burnt oil. Seems like the pan was likely not cleaned in between dishes. My partner had the Vegetable Udon and said it was bland and maybe undercooked. He had terrible stomach pain on our way home. We're both having indigestion for hours now.
I placed an order at 10pm with this place, i never recieved my food and the phone number goes to a fax machine. This is no way to run a business and i will never order again.
I won’t even feed this food to my dog. It tastes terrible and the dumplings are deep fried flour with tasteless cabbage inside. We also waited 30 mins for this food and paid $21 for a soup and dumplings.
This has got to be the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever ordered from. The rice taste disgusting. I can't describe it. If I could give one star I would. Food also sent my mother who loves Chinese food to the hospital, not sure if it was food poisoning or not. Waiting to hear back from the Emergency room now. Also made my stomach and my fiances stomach ill. DON'T EAT THIS GARBAGE 🙏
See the pictures? There’s a BUG in our food! Food was not good at all!! Some lacked overall taste others were too salty. Chicken with vegetables was just pure salt whereas the lo mein had no salt. Inconsistent. The only thing that was GOOD was the STEAMED dumplings. Just order from Great Wall of China.
