Variety Coffee Roasters Broadway Reviews
The atmosphere of a European coffee shop. Beautiful interior. Great coffee and tea, nice personnel. It was quite a surprise to find such a place on 7th avenue. I wish I could visit this place again.
I’ve been to several variety locations across the city probably over 100 times and this location is one of the best! They are SO efficient with taking orders and making coffees. Also I accidentally spilled my coffee and they made me a new one without me even asking when they were busy! So so nice ♥️ thank you variety!!!
So many shops around the area feel the same, sterile like a kiosk inside a hospital, here is a bit more unique. This place has great tasting coffee and a good lemon loaf.
Quality coffee, lingering/co-working friendly, personable staff. 10/10 would reccomend. My wife and I came in and sat for a while. We both ordered Americanos, hers decaf, mine regular, and they were fantastic. No complaints at all! I know coffee, and thought this was certainly a spot to return to for the brew. We grabbed a window table and sat for over an hour and watched the regular crowd trickle in. I bought a bag of beans to take home with me as a souvenir, and it’s been absolutely delicious as espresso and pour over.
This is a great place to stop in for a tasty treat, quick recharge, to sit for a date or to catch up on work. My favorite drink so far was a dirty chai latte made by Kennedy who was so friendly! Their cookies are always fresh and delicious. This spot gets busy, so I'm surprised that the small staff manages to keep up the demand. Keep up the great work!
Since they opened, I gave away my home coffee machine. The Baristas there know Joe to make the perfect cup every time. They do it with a smile and the coffee beans are fresh and roasted well. Acidity level of the beans is lower, so es you get a smoother, less tangy coffee - Italian style. If you like a French style roast, this is not the place.
I had a fantastic breakfast experience at this café. The coffee was delicious (I had a latte), perfectly brewed, and just the right temperature. I paired it with an almond croissant that was absolutely delightful - fresh and delicious. The café itself is charming and welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff, especially the cashier, were incredibly friendly and patient with my English (I am from Argentina), which I greatly appreciated. Moreover, it offers an excellent value for the quality of food and service provided. Highly recommended ! I'll definitely be coming back for more in my next visit to New York. 😌
One of my go-to places for coffee in NYC. Both locations are good but I prefer this one cause it's a bit more spacious. Espresso based drinks a bit on the acidic side, I personally don't mind. Regular Manhattan prices for coffee. The big plus that this store offers is that they don't do any cooking/reheating/toasting on the premises, as such there no lingering funk in the atmosphere to permeate your clothes as is the norm in most coffee places nowadays. Also, I almost always find a space to sit down and enjoy my drink regardless of the time of the day. One last thing, very pleasing design and aesthetics of the store overall as well as in the packaging of their branded products. One of my top choices for coffee in the city.
Variety roasters has a great espresso bland and a nice looking place. I haven't went to Visit with my sister but once I'll take her I'm sure she'll be delighted. the place smells good from roasters coffee smell, the barista was professional, quick and nice. the seating area reminded me a coffee shop in Paris.
Stopped by to grab a cup of coffee. It’s a cute cafe and lots of tables to sit and relax. I ordered an iced americano with an extra shot, which was pretty strong but liked the taste of it (not bitter at all). It was a bit confusing on where to stand to order or where to line up. They did have various pastries available but didn’t get any this time. The staffs can be a bit more friendlier when taking the order. Otherwise, a decent place to grab a coffee.
Small cafe that seems to be a popular work spot. They serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and pastries. The drip blend they had was Honduras. The coffee was extremely nutty with a smooth aftertaste. Also a very blunt flavor over your tongue rather than a distinct, sharper flavor. Enjoyable blend.
Decent coffee spot in Chelsea. The interior of the shop is spacious, clean, and has lots of seating for you to get your work done at or catch up with friends/coworkers/etc. Service is nice. I just got a simple black coffee and it was pretty decent. The only problem that I had was that their menu on the wall wasn't up to date and my coffee ended up being more expensive than I thought (not a big deal, but I just wish that they had accurate prices).
Stopped in around 4:30 pm on December 26 to grab a latte. Walked up to the counter and said hello, no response. Tried again with a “how are you?” and got a short, rushed “fine” that came off pretty grumpy. I ordered a latte but immediately thought, why am I spending my money here. I said never mind, he scoffed, and I walked out and went to another shop on 7th.
