National Diner Bronx Reviews
I love a good diner my son and I decided to dine in and from the second we arrived warm greetings no wait to sit our waitress was amazing with options and recommendations next time I have to taster Nutella ice coffee food was delicious thank you guys see yall next week
Liana is amazing at her job. Respectful, funny, positive, pretty, and quick!! 10/10 the best service I’ve had in a while.
This is a good local eatery. Staff is friendly and professional.
My delivery order: egg, sausage & cheese wrap (spinach soft tortilla) with a Large coffee. The wrap would arrive still warm & with melted cheese. So good & at an affordable price! (considering ordering delivery).
Very friendly place and fast at expediting your order. My only thing with the food was the home fries were a little burnt.
One of the things I love most about my beloved home are the family run diners with the gigantic menu and servers with just the right feist to make everything fun.And homey, this is the real new york. Shout out to Vivian, Leona, and Vito the big cheese. I forget all the names but i will be back often enough to know everybody's name
I highly recommend this location food and staff are very great.
Good food. Very nice and clean very comfortable staff!
Stepping into National Diner feels like hitting the pause button on the fast-paced NYC life. It’s classic, no-frills, and absolutely bursting with charm. The chrome accents, cozy booths, and vintage feel instantly transport you to a simpler time—and the food? Pure comfort. I ordered a stack of fluffy pancakes with crispy bacon and a side of home fries that hit all the right notes. The coffee kept coming, and the staff treated every customer like a regular, even if it was your first time. What I loved most was the vibe—a mix of early risers, night owls, and families all enjoying good food without pretense. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, National Diner serves up more than just a meal—it serves a little slice of New York nostalgia. A true hidden gem that’s hard not to love.
We started ordering breakfast from this diner at work. They have been consistently great, which says a lot because my coworker is very picky. We tried their homemade lemonade & it felt like a summer day. Good coffee. I love their western omelet sandwich. Give them a try!
So I found this as I was driving. I went in. I ordered a tuna fish lot of mayo whole wheat 🍞 It was delicious! I will definitely be back. I was starting to have my doubts about finding some place that made an amazing tuna fish sandwich in the Bronx. The place was clean. I would love to go back and eat in. I will definitely be back 😁
One of my favorite spots in the Bronx. I spend lots of money here because I enjoy the staff and the food. They also have freshly baked goods that are pretty tantalising. I highly recommend the tuna melt as well as the patty melt!!! But then again any and everything that I've eaten here has been to my complete satisfaction! I have never ever been disappointed with National.
The pancakes are a 10/10 strawberries we’re so fresh. Toast 10/10, my only critique is the home fries were plain tasting. The cheese used on the eggs is most likely processed cheese so I wasn’t a fan of it. Very clean and welcoming place to eat especially with children. Portions are also a good size. Overall experience was good will definitely recommend.
I started going on and of a while ago but the last 8 months I go at least 2 to 3 times a week I love the all of the staff and owner they treat u like u matter I feel like I'm home some time I have to remember I have to go home . Prices are a $1 or $2 more but good food and great servings how can u argue . 🍰☕🍩🥞🍔🍟🥪
Food was amazing. This diner has been here for years but the service stays the same. Everyone is so nice, especially the lil lady waitress. My husband & I were pleased with our breakfast. It came out fast & hot !! I'm a coffee girl so the coffee was on point too. I ate so much, I had to take my food to go :-)
I ordered from this place 2x for food to be delivered to my home, In both instances, items were missing. I recently called when this happened to express my concerns and frustration about my order missing an entire platter and was told to "relax" by the person who answered the phone. Even though the food is pretty good, the customer service needs A LOT of improvement, starting with increasing compassion and empathy towards your customers when an issue is brought to their attention.
Delivery and food no good taste wasn’t fresh no flavor I throw away the bacon taste old, sausage old , French toast had no flavor.
I had the worst experience ever two families that came after us had eaten and was getting ready to leave before we even got our food we got in at 12:15pm at 1:30 we still had not gotten our food I had to ask for a menu, cutlery and for my sons milk after the server brought the table their drinks and My Son still did not have anything Ten minutes later. After waiting all that time and seeing the 2nd family about to leave we asked to cancel the order and just pay for our juice and conveniently she says your food is coming right now I was just bring it out . At this point we still wanted to leave and the guy Not sure if he was the boss looked at us and just shook his head as if we did something wrong. I would never go here again the service sucked
