Midnight Cafe Brookfield Reviews
You have to order online or at the restaurant. Good service and good food late at night.
Just had the BBQ pork sandwich - absolutely bangin. Forget your crappy beef sandwiches in Chicago, this is where it's at.
The shrimp fried rice is to die for
I’ve only tried a few things on their menu, but their banh mi is soooo good. Best I’ve tried in the city. Their vietnamese food has been great and the Chinese is decent too. Great late night spot!
This is a hidden gem. Especially for late night Asian cuisine. The food is delicious and the service is quick and efficient. There should be more people talking about this place
I ordered midnight Cafe on doordash it is a fairly new restaurant had a bahn mi sandwich pork the bread was so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside the flavor of everything was just delicious perfect amounts of sliced jalapeno daikon cilantro and carrot. Besides here I have only had one really good Bahn mi (and it was in North Carolina of all places). The general tso's chicken was fresh a little crispy not too overpowering in sweetness or spice just the perfect mix. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious perfect flavor. The lo mein was all right but needs a little more flavor besides that it had a ton of fresh vegetables. And my kids loved the Thai tea boba tea. Everything came fresh, hot and delicious everything had a bunch of fresh vegetables it looked appealing tasted wonderful also not too much on the grease which is wonderful!! My new go-to favorite place for Bahn mi sandwich BEST IN MILWAUKEE 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!! And they have the best little sesame red bean paste balls ❤️ sorry I do not have a picture of the Bahn mi because I devoured it...
Ordered on DoorDash, got the most tasty and fresh Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. I will definitely order again! They are generous with portions, and the depth of flavor in the pho broth and Vietnamese beef stew was amazing. This is a special place!
The yellow curry is delightfully flavorful. I ordered the vegetarian curry, but they make it with meat too. Loved the pork egg rolls! Everything was really fresh, I can’t wait to try the Pho and the tempura shrimp! And heads up: they have buy one get one free right now on Door Dash and also 20% off on select items!
A Hidden Gem of Asian Fusion – A Must Try, this Vietnamese-Asian fusion spot is a culinary treasure that deserves far more attention than it gets. Blending traditional Vietnamese flavors with touches from other Asian cuisines, this place delivers an experience that’s both familiar and refreshingly creative.
Love the varieties of selections and just the perfect touch of seasoning. Not too much and not too less. Crab raggoons are sweet! Taste like homemade!
Love the food but the pho is my favorite, the best so far i ever had😍 . Very quick as well and easy to order. Love the diversity of Asian punch , I enjoyed it can't wait until everyone gives its a shot. It has a punch of Asian soul food. Thank you for your service definitely will go everytime I get paid .
Love the pho and bunmi sandwiches, best in town. Will order again.
My bf has DoorDash me food from here and it was great! I got the egg roll rice vermicelli noodles and it was a little too sweet but still really good. The one bad thing I would say is that their phone number doesn’t work so I couldn’t call the store.
Foods were delivered. I am sure they would have been better if eaten at the restaurant
My fiancé got food from here on Christmas Eve. The Singapore noodles were good, cooked well albiet a little bland on the flavor. The General Tso's chicken had good flavor but unfortunately the chicken itself was severely overcooked. I tried contacting them through their online contact form but never heard back from anyone. We also own a restaurant in the area and stress how important customer service is, especially when it can be easily rectified. I was looking forward to returning to try more items, as I am Vietnamese and was excited to learn of this place, however I am turned off by the lack of response or care to remedy an easy fix.
The bánh mì immediately felt like a letdown. For the price, I expected something more substantial, but instead I was handed what amounted to half a breadstick. While the BBQ meat filling itself was decent, mild and not overly strong, the portion size simply didn’t justify what I paid. The bread was the biggest issue. It was overdone to the point of being unpleasantly hard and slightly burnt, which completely threw off the sandwich. A bánh mì should have a light crisp texture, not feel tough to bite through. More attention to balance and less overdoing the bread would make a big difference. The crab rangoon was the most disappointing part of the meal. The outside was cooked nicely, golden and crisp, but the inside was not fully cooked. The texture made it seem rushed, and it was honestly off putting. I ended up feeling sick afterward, which made the experience even worse. Next day and I’m still sick because of the crab Rangoon:/
Came in for a late night bite. Called to place and order and was told they’re open (as stated online) but couldn’t take an order, despite talking to me over the phone. I proceeded to try to place an online order but was unable and went in person to place an order. No one was there available to speak, greet or very less take an order. I placed my order through a kiosk and 32 minutes later (time quoted was 7 to 20 minutes). I also needed to use the bathroom but was unable to as it was closed off ‘for paying customers only’ which I was, but with no one there to unlock it for me, I was out of luck. Overall such poor service, that despite how good the food may or may not be I will not be a customer here again.
