18th Ward Brewing Brooklyn Reviews
I suppose the atmosphere of the place is evocative of a grunge concert. I'm not a fan of grunge but I like the beer. The Password Pale Ale was crisp and refreshing. One can mix and match any 4 pack cans of beer to their choosing. They also fill up 32 ounce crowlers.
Fantastic brewery for pre and post show drinks and food. Highly recommend their draft beers and quesadillas! Great music also ! Can’t wait to go back !
Nice selection of drafts and a great flight deal with 4 good little pours for only $11. They have a lot of space outside for actually spaced out seating too, which is nice. Plus individual boxes of jenga and other board games, for anyone so inclined. Also would recommend the chili lime peanuts.
Great place for beers, drinks and live music across from Brooklyn Steel. I’ve made it a regular post up because of the friendly bartending from Ethan. Definitely recommend stopping by for a few brews if you’re in the area.
One of the best breweries we visited in Brooklyn with THE best selection of craft beers. Great food truck too
Really fun place and chill vibes. Can get flights here which is nice compared to other breweries near by so you can try everything. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area
Guli and Terrance hosted an amazing beer tasting at UBS delicious beer and awesome presentation
Great space!! Love the beer here, and the snacks, Music venue Brooklyn Steel across the street, can’t beat it!! 🍻

Great beer, live music, fun crowd. If you’re lucky enough to have Shaver as your bartender, he is one of the best and most knowledgeable brewers in the entire city, and definitely the friendliest.
Great beer, amazing service! Also the food truck is STELLAR. A great place to unwind and have good conversation with other guests and bartenders. It gets a little wild after Brooklyn Steel shows but it makes for a great atmosphere and the staff is always so helpful. love this place and will definitely come back.
Chill vibe - went for the 2 Wheels Tuesday. Great crowd and such beautiful motorcycles throughout the years. I tried the I'm Not Even A Pumpkin Guy - I am a die hard Shipyard girl, THIS BEER was one of the best Pumpkin beers I had since Shipyard.

Nice selection of craft brews, cool and helpful bartenders. What more could you ask for in a brewery. They have a full bar so if you are looking for a place to get some craft beer along with some cocktails this is a great place.
Got a couple plastic cups of beer after being across the street for an event. Seating is ample. Service seemed nice. Beer good.

A band was playing live music when I arrived here on a Saturday night. I hadn't intended to watch the show and the space was fairly small. The beers I had were alright, far from the best. Overall it's a short walk from the L and it's worth checking out once.

Brewery with a sports bar vibe. Six house made beers and an additional six guest beers on draft. Get a pint, or a flight of four if you want to try a few different ones. Complete with a full bar, jukebox, some merch and skee ball.

The beer was great. Delicious hot pretzel. Nice space. But I was turned off watching the bartender take three shots in the hour I was there. Not very responsible. Other than that I’d have give. 5 stars.
Great place for motorcycle meet ups, especially on Tuesday nights. The neighborhood is an up and coming developing residential out skirt, with very little commercial traffic. Cozy brewery, nothing fancy, but all entertaining. If you have a friend whom can enjoy a beer, check out this place. And on two wheels tuesday, during the riding season, you can view all the pretty motorcycles.

We were disappointed that the bartender kept ignoring people waiting to order drinks so she could tell stories at the (not busy) bar. Was truly weird. Closed tab later with a different bartender and he walked to our table & aggressively asked why we only tipped her 18%. Told him & haven't gone back since.

This place was fine? The food was serviceable and the beers were decent. Tried a couple of their cocktails which were basically just juice. Also the bartender gave very weird vibes- like he seemed real high but also oddly aggressive. There are worse places to have a drink while waiting for a show at Brooklyn Steel- but there are also definitely better.

Would love to be able to tell you if the beer is good or not, but unfortunately never got the chance to taste it. We had booked a table for a Sunday evening 5pm. Date, time and location had been confirmed by email. When we showed up at the location the entrance was closed by roller shutters. You could hear typical bar noise coming from the inside, but despite waiting for a some time, ringing door bells etc. we never managed to get in. I still can’t judge if 18th Ward Brewing is good at brewing or not, but what happened to us is definitely an unacceptable no-go.
