The Drift Brooklyn Reviews
Drinks that are strong and well-priced, and love the chill vibe. Plus JJ's Southern Vegan food in the back is amazing!! The spicy "chicken" sandwich is definitely spicy though, so watch out! You MUST get the Mac and Cheese
Always a great time st this bar. Yummy snacks. Legit cocktails. Perfect spot for locals.
Taxidermy+Busch draft+Wood panelling... a place to take the sting out of an ever-growing duplicative bar scene across NYC.
I dig the wood panel mountain vibe and has a decent pool table. Good local spot. If I lived closer by - would probably be here more often~
The perfect bar? Probably. I’m visiting NYC on a film shoot and my local DP and long-time friend takes me to his local watering hole... mid conversation we walk in to the bar and immediately I had to stop and look around. The place looks a little like a Wes Anderson set but not in an try-hard kind of way.. it’s a great balance of rough and ready; designed and lived-in. Then we met the bartender who was a sweetheart and a killer DJ setting a great mood for the joint. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. If this was in my hood back home, I’d be a regular for sure.
Bartender was awesome, didn’t grab his name but he was super hospitable and friendly! Very dark inside and he was playing tame impala. All green flags to me, will be back hopefully that guy is still bartending!
Great local bar that we stumbled across on our way home from a show. Friendly vibe, good music and cheap stiff drinks. My kind of bar. "Mountain" ski bar vibe is cool, too.
don’t sleep on the AMAZING VEGAN FOOD in the back! great dive bar with good music and small backyard! -++ PHOTO HUNT machine on bar
Always have a good time at the Drift. Nice atmosphere, good crowd and a nice backyard. They had a basic but good selection of beers and nice cocktails.
Love everything about this place. The theme, music, atmosphere, food, and pinball in the back. It scratches a particular itch VERY well.
Calm spot. Backyard area is chill. Pool table is chill.
Nice relaxed environment to enjoy a drink. Bonus points for hosting vegan place in the back

Just hanging out hearing good tunes, having good beers. They are so nice there

This place feels much more cozy and welcoming than Boulevard tavern ever did. An improved drink menu and ambiance goes a long way. We were with a large group and everyone had a great time
Chill neighborhood spot. Same owners as The Commodore and El Cortez. Try the Frito pie, sloppy Joe and chili Queso. Great drinks too.
Pretty nice spot. I enjoyed the cozy vibe and the big booths. It wasn't too loud which made talking a bit easier, and their drinks were priced well. It's in a good area as well so if you're around it's worth a stop for a drink.
A classic-feeling bar, great place for grabbing a drink on your way home from work. The prices are what you'd expect (a bit expensive) and the selection isn't amazing, but Jamal (the bartender) brings it up to 4 stars nonetheless.

It would be nice if the Owner / Manager cared about the place, the atmosphere is calm, and the Bartenders are great. However, they run out of popular products often, and customers are left to find alternative options which makes you drink less. Many things are broken during any given day, Chairs, Heat/Ac, Cash Register, Music, etc.. I like the convenience of the local neighborhood bar, with the cozy backyard, but it's difficult to make the establishment your place of choice, because of the inconsistencies.
Walked in and out. Bartender looked at us like we were crazy when asked if they had a food menu! Lol such a bummer since it was on my list for a long time.
I was here a few years ago. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my lifetime! The bartender was not just rude, but aggressive waving her hands in my face. I was disrespected by her several times for being foreign. She also said: "This is New York, don't expect me to be nice to you!" Ridiculous.
They removed my review … but putting it back up service is trash food is great they don’t answer the phone. Never know when they’re open are closed.. you gotta chance it
Bad Vibes! Rude bartenders, in this economy I will spend my money elsewhere in the neighborhood.
