Super friendly & attentive staff, intimate ambiance with candle lit tables & greenery throughout, great cocktails(esp. if the bartender that night happens to be Eric), clean restroom, delicious food, fairly priced for the area. This a great date spot, a great spot to hold good conversations, a great spot for a hearty dinner & so forth. I RECOMMEND HAPPILY!

Came here with a girlfriend for drinks and aperitifs. I ordered a mocktail and she ordered an espresso martini. We had both ordered the tuna tartare which was actually incredible! It came with chips as well as bread and the tuna was so fresh and nicely minced. Not super thick which I appreciated a lot. The service was wonderful as they checked up on us frequently and I believe even the chef herself too if I’m not mistaken which was very kind! It has a homey feel with a Parisian ambiance which we adored. Will definitely be coming back!

I had so much fun here on a random Sunday Funday! We had the most engaging bartender that made the most delicious cocktails. We let him decide for us, and he did NOT disappoint. Fun atmosphere, great music, yummy snacks. 10/10 would go back!! I’m not local, but every time I’m in town, we end up stopping in. Also love the original location - Pasta Louise!!

Beautiful cocktail spot in Park Slope. Went there for celebration and grabbed drinks and small snacks. The chips and nuts were great and so were the drinks. I got their version of an old fashion. Food/snacks: 5/5 Atmosphere: 10/5 Customer Service: 5/5

I had the best experience at Bar Louise today. Our bartender, Diego, was friendly and welcoming and made phenomenal cocktails. Every plate of food that came out looked amazing - will definitely be back and try the food! Ambiance is also great, back patio looked really big, bathrooms are adorable.

While we were there opening night, it seemed like it’s been there for years. Professional, cool vibe, amazing staff, extra special cocktails and the food! So yummy. Cozy and welcoming. Great attention to detail. I’ll be back and highly recommend going for drinks , small bites, and / or dinner

What an amazing cocktail bar and restaurant that Brooklyn is so lucky to have in Park Slope! I had the Party Dress cocktail x 2, made by a phenomenal mixologist, Victoria. Victoria and Naomi have a special cocktail menu they developed starting next week that I will definitely be back to try. The service is impeccable and the ambiance is cozy yet classy. This is truly an establishment made for the grown and sexy, who relish in coziness, class and kindness.

We had such a lovely night here on Halloween. I wasn't sure if we'd find a seat, but Victoria managed to accommodate us not only once but a second time when friends showed up and we moved to a larger table. It's so pretty inside, the food was very good, and the drinks excellent. More high praise for Victoria: toward the end of the night she made a couple of us specialty cocktails that she came up with on the spot. Mine was absolutely delicious--gin with spicy peppercorn syrup and something that made it a beautiful red color.

Wow. This place is such a gem. I’ve seen it before while walking around town and finally came in and we had such lovely service from Kelsey! I was overwhelmed by all the delicious options and she suggested I get the Best Western drink and the pigs in a blanket and they both hit the spot! Would 10/10 return - can’t wait to bring friends!

I have been walking by this restaurant for months and finally decided to give it a try. I was very impressed with the food, cocktails, staff and atmosphere. The french dip sandwich was DELICIOUS - and I am very picky with french dip sandwiches. I also had a spicy margarita and loved it. The service was excellent. The GM came over to check on us personally and was extremely friendly. Overall I loved it at Bar Louise and will definitely be back!

My wife and I met two friends for Halloween dinner and drinks. We were very impressed. The restaurant has a great vibe and atmosphere. Unique menu and the food was really good. Our server, Victoria, was exceptional. She was lovely, made us speciality cocktails that were delicious, and took time to make us feel welcomed and the night fun despite the place being busy. 5 stars all day and I’m a 4* guy.

A neighborhood gem for drinks (and food)! The bartenders and waiters have had great wine recs each time while the cocktail menu is fresh and exciting. The food menu is different than parent restaurant Pasta Louise and features fantastic small bites - including our favs: meatballs and rolled lasagna. Can be intimate for dates or a place for groups alike.

What a great place! Cool vibe, delicious food, and fantastic service. The cocktail menu has lots of fun drinks. You’ll want to try so many. The atmosphere has a retro feel but still of the moment. Definitely a place you want to go back to again and again

I stopped in Bar Louise the other night for a glass of wine and a bite and what a total gem! The space has a welcoming vibe and the staff was helpful and friendly. The bartender Kristan suggested several wines and let me taste three until I found the one that hit the spot. Smoked trout dip was delicious and I loved the party dress. Highly recommend for an after work drink and snack!

My sister and I came here on a Friday night for drinks and dinner and had a time! The food is phenomenal and the drinks are outstanding. The cocktails are unique and delicious. Victoria and Naomi made sure we were good at the bar, and they are so talented. I highly recommend this spot for a date night or a night out with the girls! Try the pomponella spritz :)

Bar Louise has a great atmosphere that feels both relaxed and lively. The drinks are wonderful - well made, consistent, and thoughtfully crafted. The staff is truly the best: friendly, attentive, and knowledge about the menu, including the extensive wine list! The decor is stylish and upscale without ever feeling stuffy, thanks in large part to the warm, down-to-earth staff.

Went into Bar Louise on a super cold day recently and it was the perfect vibe. It was warm and cozy, and had a great selection of red wines. The bartender was very knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely a new neighborhood fave for me!

10/10 Killer cocktails, stellar service, vibes on point AND a beautiful backyard? Started with a dozen oysters and martinis then shared the lasagna flowers. Don’t sleep on dessert. The chocolate budino is out of this world. Can’t wait to sip martinis outside all summer. Good stuff, Bar Louise!

A much needed high end cocktail bar in Park Slope! The cocktails were exceptional (!), but the food and atmosphere have room for improvement. Keep in mind, this review is based on Day 4 of being open, so small kinks can get worked out. With the exception of the octopus, which may be the best I've ever had, the food was pretty underwhleming. Given the owners experience with Pasta Louise, I'm sure they'll figure it out. Pairing down the menu may help, it felt ambitious for the space. The food prep area divided the space in a weird way. The front bar is pretty cool and has nice light and materials, but the larger back room is standard wall benches, tables, and chairs. Some nice intricate chandeliers, but otherwise a slightly mismatched ambience.

As a relative to Pasta Louise, we were excited to give this place a shot for some drinks. The staff were lovely, no complaints there. However, the rest of the experience left something to be desired. The drinks were underwhelming. One (top left in photo) flat out tasted as though they’d left out the gin entirely. Somehow my first drink (bottom in photo), despite being effectively an espresso martini with fairly rich and strongly flavored ingredients was oddly watery. The second I got (All The Rage) had a properly strong flavor but still fell short of what I’d hope for in an $18 cocktail. We did not end up getting food but, judging by what the table got beside us, the portion sizes were unfortunate. The main seating area in the back was quite stuffy and has a strong smell of… something. Like off gassing vinyl or fake leather. I’d imagine this is just from things being new, but surely they could have cracked a window for some ventilation. It’s not a bad spot and I’m sure things can improve with time while they get the kinks worked out. But there’s stiff competition in the area, where for the price you get a better atmosphere and better drinks.

The drinks were great and the staff was very friendly. But the food was not good. One of my friends sent back the deviled eggs very vinegar heavy and the fish roe tasted off. Then the tuna tartar came. I’ve never not finished a plate of tuna tartar in my life. But i would definitely go back for drinks and the pigs in a blanket.

The encounter with the host felt very stale. You never know who you’re speaking to, and I would hate to think that the color of my skin influenced my experience. There was no sense of enthusiasm or attentiveness—it may have been welcoming for others, but unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. I simply asked about happy hour times, as if that were a crime, and was met with a very dismissive tone. I hope everyone is treated fairly and equally. It’s never about who you support in a bio or statement, but about character—and that includes self-reflection and appreciation for all people, no matter who they are.
