Bay Ridge Pizza Brooklyn Reviews
I always order catered food from Bay Ridge pizza for the holidays or for birthday parties. They never disappoint. Most recently yesterday for my daughter‘s birthday. All of my guests were asking where I got the food from because it was so delicious. One of the shrimp trays I got was phenomenal. The shrimp was huge and high-quality and so good. And their prices are very reasonable. I love this place!
Came here a month ago first time, got a whole pizza siciliana with pepperoni. Its an old school pizza joint. So good and the kids of course loved it. They were super busy but cranked it out during peak dinner rush. Now I'm hungry just thinking about it.
Cheese gluten free pizza rocked. My son has Celiac and this was cooked well. No gooey dough that some places struggle with cooking right. Saw guy walking an order out to someone too. This place cares! Great job everyone and thank you!
Gaspare really does make some of the best pizza in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and New York! I had four different slices in one sitting.
First stop from JFK, it was truly the best. We ordered a mushroom Alfredo mini pizza and a gluten-free, black olive pizza and meatball roll and a single cheese slice. When I tell you that Alfredo straight from the pan 🤤. Everything was hot and fresh. Amazing host and good people.
Pizza was delicious and Gaspar was so knowledgeable about Gluten free and cross contamination matters. They also have GF pasta. So happy we found this place. Our go-to pizza place
We’ve ordered a few times at work—delivery always quick and friendly! Yesterday I finally went into the shop and it’s just such a classic pizzeria vibe with amazing service. Growing up in Bensonhurst I know a thing or two about classic pizzerias! 😂 Fantastic regular slice! Thin and gooey and delicious. The potato croquettes are out of this world as well. Great spot for a slice after a long day at work!
I’ve been here for years and just started eating at this place! The lasagna and tiramisu are out of this world! And their prices are so reasonable. And their calzones are excellent too!!
Stopped in for the first time for a quick slice while in the neighborhood when I saw they’d been in business since 1978. They had just brought out a tray of square pizza. I ordered a slice and it was so good, I got a second. I can’t speak for the other slices, but a half-mushroom, half-olive pizza fresh out of the oven looked delicious. I’ll be back!
THIS IS THE BEST PIZZERIA IVE EVER BEEN TOO. 10/10 Recommend. 😋 Anything and everything you eat here is the best, the quality in every ingredient, the portion size, the variety, etc. This place is a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere, and is wonderful for people with food allergies such a gluten intolerance and other allergies. They care for their customers, are very cleanly, and so much more. In the pictures are: potato croquettes, Sicilian slice, mozzarella sticks, and a grandma slice. ❤️
SOLID slice, 4 out 5. It’s well balanced from tip to crust and nothing about it is wrong. With that said, for me, it does fall slightly short of just the extra special something. However, there’s enough here to make go in intending to only eat one slice but then immediately returning for a second. This pizzeria deserves its popularity. I saw a guy eating a slice while sitting in what had to be a 70s Lincoln Town Car, so they have a loyal following. I ordered a regular plain slice first, enjoyed it thoroughly, and then returned to try “a square.” The square definitely has a better more buttery crust. I like that the pricing is fair ($3) and they don’t charge extra for squares. I might not travel from Staten Island just to get their pizza, but I would definitely return if in the Brooklyn area.
The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. The Italian food was average. The pizza was O.K. Hero size is good. I ordered a fish entree with pasta. The fish and pasta came together in one tray with a tomato sauce. I requested garlic and oil but they do not offer this typical option. The pasta amount was basic.
Honestly, one of the grossest things I’ve eaten in the neighborhood. I had two “OK” experiences with this place, so today, I decided to try ordering online for delivery. Their online menu is incomplete, and I mistook the pie I wanted for something else. I took ownership of that and prayed it wasn’t terrible. It was. The business called me to confirm the size of the pie, so it got off to a bad start. When I realized she said “Buffalo chicken,” I immediately called her back and said, “listen, I think I put the wrong thing through because the menu appears incomplete. I want a chicken, bacon, ranch.” She puts me on-hold, angry arguing in the background, and she comes back on the line to tell me it would be an additional fee to change the order they hadn’t even started. I let her know it was the same price and I wasn’t paying a fee. Well, I got it, and the chicken tasted awful, the pie was doughy, and I threw it in the trash and wrote it off to a bad time. This probably could have been avoided if they just switched my order over to the thing I’d had before and trusted, but here we are. I definitely won’t be back.
I am very upset with this place, I ordered chicken ceaser salad and meatballs. First the chicken was not fresh tasted like leftovers. The meatballs wasn't fresh but no taste. I don't understand how you servings people those kind of food.
First time trying this place and really disappointed. I've had vodka slices in the past. I've had gluten free thin crust. And they all had taste and looked amazing. This was not it. No taste at all. Did not look appetizing one bit. Waste of $20. This is not a vodka pizza. I only had one slice and forced myself to eat it since I paid for it. It is so hard to look for a place that does GF thin crust vodka pizza. And the one place I found here was beyond disappointing. Covering the slices with all that mozzarella cheese? No thank you. And the sauce underneath had no taste. First and last time trying this place.
Ordered 2 gluten free pies. Delivery took an hour and a half. The pizzas were the size of my hand, the crust was too hard to chew and the sauce ridiculously hard. Completely inedible. These days, there is no excuse for gluten free food to taste bad. I have frozen gf pizza that is absolutely delicious. There are so many options that in some cases are superior to non gf food. My whole family orders the gf pizza from Campania on a regular basis even though they don’t need to eat gf. The crust is fluffy, the pie larger, the quality far superior. I’ll stick with that.
