Big Tiny Brooklyn Reviews
Excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel as if you’re dining in a classic French brasserie. The service is warm, attentive, and highly professional. Fantastic vibes—can’t wait to return!
Oysters were so fresh and the service was good! They had a happy hour for $11 of a glass of wine and $20 of a choice of an appetizer with a glass of wine. I thought the food was a reasonable price and I would definitely come again. The atmosphere is great too, when we came it was still empty, but when it hit 6:30 there were more people.
Amazing service + amazing food = best combination! Big Tiny goes above and beyond to reassure and satisfy their customers. It’s hard to find restaurants that truly are passionate, but their love shines through especially with the plating and the quality of their food. There were many picky eaters at this table, and yet those plates were wiped clean!! Would recommend and definitely coming back 😇👏
Dinner plans that fell through at another restaurant, brought us to this gem. There were so many good options, it was hard to decide. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. From the escargot, muscles, the lamb and beef dish over beans. We had to get extra bread for the garlic butter and olive oil sauce. They also give you toasted bread for the muscle sauce which was flavorful. They also have great happy hour deals which we did one with oysters and another with mushroom on toast. The staff was very attentive and the space was small but cozy. Completely stuffed by the end, but very well worth it.
We stopped by Big Tiny for dinner, and let me just say—if this place isn’t ranked as having the BEST ravioli in the USA, I don’t know what to tell you. It was that incredible. Perfectly crafted, bursting with flavor, and absolutely unforgettable. Beyond the mind-blowing ravioli, everything else was just as amazing—the service was top-notch, the wine selection was spot on, and the cozy yet lively atmosphere made for the perfect Brooklyn dining experience. Seriously, do yourself a favor and get the ravioli. This spot is an absolute gem, and we can’t wait to come back!
My friend and I went here for dinner recently on a chilly evening and were welcomed with a cozy environment paired with delicious food. We started with their ham and cheese croquettes, which melted in our mouth. Paired with the filet mignon carpaccio, which was so flavorful with each bite. For our mains, I chose the cream ravioli and it was the perfect balance. My friend ordered the big tiny cassoulet and potato gratin, both were bursting with flavor. The service was prompt and friendly, making everyone feel like a regular. Can’t wait to come back.
A friend and I were able to walk in at about 7pm on a Wednesday night (the night before Thanksgiving, I should add!) and we were immediately greeted by the staff and given a choice of whatever open table they had. The vibe was warm and cozy, and you could tell that the crowd was a crowd of regulars who were enjoying time with their loved ones over great food and wine. I picture myself spending a lot of time here as the weather is cooling down. I got a glass of one of their red wine specials (apologies for not remembering the name!). The menu has so many good options but we landed on the croquettes, the filet mignon carpaccio, the cassoulet, raviolini, and potato gratin, all of which we split. It’s difficult to pick favorites as all were fantastic and cooked to perfection. Don’t expect a quick meal as everything was prepared fresh and is homemade. The service was spectacular. This is the perfect place to bring loved ones - whether it be friends, family, or lovers - and enjoy wonderful food and conversation. Overall, gem of a spot.
Glad we chose this spot on a whim! Truly a gem of the neighborhood. Great food selection, great wine selection, cozy atmosphere, and extremely welcoming staff/owner interactions all throughout the night. Great prices for quality of food/drinks/service. The seared scallop dish was to die for , truly one of my favorite dishes I’ve had in a while. Henry and Dominic were awesome and super attentive to our needs the whole night. Will definitely be back for more ! Highly recommended.
This was one of our favorite dining experiences in the neighborhood! The place is super cute and cozy with great decoration. The food was also so delicious and at great prices - we had the filet mignon carpaccio (awesome mix of flavors!), French onion soup, the cassoulet (combo of beans and meats), and the beet salad. The wine was a great selection and the staff/owner were all so nice! Will definitely be returning soon to try everything else that the menu has to offer!
Rather a small & cozy restaurant with limited seating. We arrived without a reservation but they managed to squeeze us 3 in a spot by the window. All we ordered were good. Especially like their very flavourful garlic parsley french fries. Unfortunately one of the dishes we ordered, ravioli did not arrived until all other dishes were long done. Two different waiters came by and promised they looked into it but … Finally it arrived but with the tomatoes sauce and not the cream sauce we asked for. At last no complaint as food is good. Anyways would’ve given a 5 stars had the service been better.
We recently had brunch at this location and ordered the Big Tiny veggie omelette, the savory crepe, and the Benedict hollandaise. Unfortunately, the brunch dishes were underwhelming and fell a bit short for all of us—we found ourselves asking for extra salt and hot sauce to add flavor. That said, their regular lunch menu is much stronger. I’ve had the steak tartare before and it was simply delicious. The space itself is very charming, as the name suggests—a cozy little corner spot—and it really shines as an appetizer and cheese bar with an excellent wine selection. While brunch wasn’t a hit for us, I’d still recommend visiting for lunch, wine, and small plates rather than brunch.
