Blue Bottle Coffee Brooklyn Reviews
This place was fancy. I was cold and walking around stopped in got a coffee. It was a black coffee.I use no cream or sugar. It was close to 6 bucks. My friend got a croissant and a coffee as was close too Getting only change back from a twenty. My coffee was good and it warmed me on the inside. So that's all I care about.
barista was incredibly sweet and took the time to make sure our coffee was just the way we liked it. The café itself was spacious and inviting. perfect for relaxing or getting some work done.
I’ve been here many times, and I have to say that their coffee and food get better every visit! I highly recommend getting their hot cappuccino in a dine in mug since it’s prepped better (latte art is pretty good) than with a takeout cup. The servers are also very friendly and even offered me a free Ham & Cheese Baguette near closing time (thank you for the treat and for not wasting food)! Their Saffron Vanilla Latte is also pretty good. The sweetness level is just the right amount. Overall, it’s my go to place whenever I head over to my office!
Blue Bottle Coffee's Williamsburg location is a standout in the NYC coffee scene. The spacious and well-maintained store is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of joe. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and their espresso is among the best in the city. Blue Bottle Coffee is a must-visit for any coffee lover in the area.
As always, Blue Bottle Coffee did not disappoint. My oat flat white was perfectly crafted and at the right temp too. This site had a very open plan with lots of beautiful natural light in the morning. Plenty of seating space as well as standing for when it's busy. To make my visit even better they even gave my dog Dobby a dog biscuit! Which he loved and he doesn't like most treats so 5 stars all round.
Blue Bottle is pretty consistent across their NYC locations, but there are a few stand out shops and the Berry Street Location is one of them. All the drip coffees are individually brewed pour overs on spot! Now that will take you some patience... a whole 3-5 minutes... just wait, it’s worth it. Americano and Latte are also on point. Small seating area, but great vibe, friendly Baristas and open window bar seating is a win. Great location with lots of other great shops and food options simple walking distance. Excellent Third Wave Shop.
Blue Bottle has the best Mocha in town, and the quality is consistent across all the outlets in NYC (the few I have been to). This one in Williamsburg is spacious, clean and comfortable just to stay for a bit. Compared to the busier cafes nearby, this one gives you the ‘break’ and space you need, one cup of coffee at a time. :)
Great new location. Delicious coffee, some pastries and a few sandwich options. Spacious and so much day light. No wifi
I often stop by this coffee shop when I’m walking around Williamsburg and need a little break. The location is excellent, and the space is very clean and spacious. Until recently, they only offered one size (12oz), but this year they’ve added a 16oz option, which I really appreciate, the 12oz always felt a bit too small for me. I usually go for an iced latte or a regular latte. While the selection of pastries is somewhat limited, they also sell coffee beans and cups, which make great souvenirs. The coffee itself is smooth and easy to drink and I think it would appeal to a wide range of people. A great spot for a quick rest during a walk around the neighborhood.
Blue Bottle Coffee is one of our favorite cafes and I miss their coffee so much during COVID-19. Finally we got a chance to have a cup of iced latte. The set up for the ordering line was pretty clear and the staff was friendly & attentive. Their coffee was great, refreshing with creamy milk.
Blue Bottle Coffee makes excellent coffee, but I wouldn’t recommend wasting money on their ham and egg croissant sandwich- the croissant was fine but the ham/egg part was a disappointing and strange arrangement of egg+meat blocks. Way too expensive for what you get. That being said, the cardamom latte was worth it and I would recommend that. For remote workers: it is a big open space so if you’re trying to get work done, you might find it to be too noisy/echoey. The WiFi also has been spotty for me.
Wanted to love the place because the location is perfect to do computer work while having a good drink but the wifi sucks here and there’s no service inside so using data is also a struggle. The $7 matcha latte was not fresh at all too and tasted watered down what a let down
Warning⚠️ Not a serious place to get any work done – 3rd world country wifi. 600 kbps. Enjoy waiting 15 seconds for every web page to load! Please don't even bother offering wifi if it's going to be this slow.
I went to the coffee shop over the weekend and had THE experience that had me say: that’s it, I need to leave a review. First, let me say that I have gone to this Blue Bottle a few times already. I had good experiences, until my schedule made me visit at times this man, an Asian man whose name I didn’t catch, is working. I am not one of these annoying customers with a million questions and requests: I know what I want and ask for it in a nice, polite way. My order consist of a hot chocolate, with oat milk, sweetened - even if the drink is already sweet. Occasionally, I like my HC in a bigger cup (even if I get the smaller size) - because it fits better in my stroller cup. That’s it guys. The first time I placed my order with him, I got a dirty look because of my “unusual” requests - the sugar and the cup. My following visits have left me uncomfortable as well - he really did not feel welcomed, on the contrary, he made me feel like I was bothering him and clearly displayed an attitude that said: I don’t want to be there (which is ok - but then get another job). Fast forward to this Saturday. I was running errands with my kids and husband and was looking for a changing table. I saw the Blue Bottle and figured that since it is a coffee shop that is a little bit more elevated than Starbucks and with less traffic, the bathroom could potentially be on the cleaner side. Please note I never expected to go to the bathroom without buying anything first. I ordered myself and my husband a drink and this man took my order. When I paid and asked for the bathroom code he gave it to me with disdain. Once I was in the bathroom with my child, he came and put a sign that said “toilet out of order”. My husband heard him complain to his coworkers about how “that was enough” and all the places where there are bathrooms in the area. The bathroom was not out of order. What nasty behaviour.
I’ve been a longtime fan of Blue Bottle, especially as a Bay Area resident where the brand was born. It’s not just the coffee that keeps me coming back—it’s the people who work there who make the experience special. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case today. The barista this morning handed me my cup with what could barely be called latte art, yet seemed completely satisfied with their work. A small detail, but one that speaks to care and craft, both of which were missing. Disappointed to leave with a subpar experience from a place I usually love.
