Cafefornia Brooklyn Reviews
Cafefornia serves coffee, tea, smoothies, and pastries in a cute corner spot. Jorge is super friendly and the staff are so supportive of the community. Smoothie and muffins were tasty, service was excellent. Can't wait to see if they add sidewalk seats.
Good coffee place, Super friendly staff!! Delicious food, good food, I ordered Latte and veggie wrap. Highly recommender.
It’s a very good place good fresh coffee , chai’s , cappuccinos and the best thing that I like in this place is the cafefornia avocado toast amazing.
Awesome ciabatta and very fresh ingredients! Would definitely come back and recommend.
Delicious coffee and food with friendly service. A nice place to sit and relax.

Very nice coffee and good services. I recommend this place
Nice addition to the neighborhood, great place for coffee and light bites. Looking forward to seeing their outdoor seating and enjoy the summer weather. Update: Had breakfast in their outdoor tables today, good summer experience. Iced coffee was surprisingly flavor, my wife's fruit smoothie was huge and good, and the round croissants were also good, felt like just made (not sure if they were or not).
Stopped by to pick up coffee for my husband (I don't drink coffee much). Staff was super friendly and they offer many dairy free milk options which is a huge plus. And, the coffee was delicious! Will definitely be returning.
Come here often with my husband and our son, great staff (two young guys) very polite and courteous. Great coffee and pastries (even has gluten free pastries) as is the price, but the prices on the menu are pretty high
I’m not one to leave a review but this spot is very well deserving. My favorite neighborhood coffee shop/lunch or light dinner spot. Consistently fresh and delicious food and pastries. It’s the kind of place you can come with a group of friends or just solo with your laptop to get some work done. Always clean, always friendly. It’s on a corner with floor to ceiling glass doors and walls, so the lighting and atmosphere are exceptional. A+ every time. Big thank you to the Cafefornia team - I commend you!
Their smoothies are GREAT. They never disappoint, the fruit is always fresh. Haven't tried anything else on the menu yet but working on doing so. They are very nice and also follow the social distance guidelines to do their part keeping the community safe.
I visited the little Coffee shop and was very impressed with Friendly and helpful staff. The ambiance is great with a unique taste for design. The shop is very welcoming and you can even sit, relax and enjoy the wide range of house roasted coffee. I'll highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee and their coice pastries.
This place is very nice and super clean. Cozy spot right at corner of Adelphi and Myrtle, & the Best customer service, good people. They have a different kind of muffins that you wouldn't find elsewhere, Scones, loaf cake, Danish, I love the fresh coffee. Thank you for everything.

Pretty good coffee and friendly baristas. Quite a lot of food options too and so much indoor and outdoor seating. The vegan pumpkin whoopie pie is so good!!

I haven't been to this spot since the new owners took over the same space a few years ago. I decided to stop in and just get a coffee with milk. I'm far from a coffee snob and I can appreciate a dark roast. But honestly it tasted like this was darkly roasted in an ash tray. I've had better coffee at shady roadside diners. Please buy some better coffee and or do a deep clean of your coffeemakers because it was rough and like $5 for what is crazily cheap coffee. I didn't eat anything but everything was the typical commercial bakery muffins and croissants you see at hotels. Just cheap stuff.

Check out the matcha latte they made me. It’s basically pure soy milk. Lol When I went in to ask the guy to add more matcha because it felt super weak, he barely added any in. He insisted that this is how matcha lattes looked. I’ve come to know the rich green of the previous 100 matcha lattes I’ve ordered in my life. This wasn’t it. This drink was also a steep $8 which i silently guffawed at. I usually go to Peck’s and not sure why i decided to venture away from them. This place suuuuucks. I can go buy a half gallon of soymilk for the same price at any bodega.
Horrible service. Waited 45 mins for a grilled cheese sandwich and an ice coffee and the server served 10 walk ins during the time we were sitting and waiting instead of making our order. Don't go here if you're in a rush.

Space is great, mostly inherited from former place, so it’s truly a shame the rest of it is a big fat NO. I don’t see how this place can last, given the general unfriendliness of the barista - on both occasions I was treated coldly, in spite of my efforts to be friendly. Coffee was not good, and I was given the wrong milk, then told that I ordered wrong. The place was pretty empty at 9am on a weekday, and I’m not surprise. If you want to succeed Cafefornia, you’re going to have to put some effort in. Maybe just open a deli somewhere else and let another business have this great spot. I won’t go back.
This is the first time I’ve experienced bad customer service at this cafe. I believe the person that opened this morning is brand new. He needs to be retrained on how to make different types of coffee beverages as well as handle customers who are not happy when he makes the beverage wrong. A latte is not mostly foam! That is a cappuccino, I asked for a latte. I was then told I couldn’t get even a receipt when I asked for my refund I was told to come back after 3pm today with no receipt! I paid using my card and I also was given back cash in hand instead of it being put back on my card. Very annoyed. I spent ten minutes of the morning to get a latte and it was wasted and I walked out with no latte! I used to come here almost everyday but after this and the way the employee handled the issue as if I offended him, I will not be returning to spend my money here again. I will go to Starbucks. I don’t mean to be THAT person but when you have a small business the practices and care for customers and training of employees should be important. UPDATE: I have returned after this and my experience has been changed around. The opener has now become very informative on the different beverages and is very pleasant and even has remembered my order. I’m very pleased and appreciate the cafe for their continued training of the employees. The making of the lattes has improved greatly. Thank you
Update: After we wrote this review, the owner chased us outside as we were leaving, taunting and threatening us and racially profiling us and literally telling us to go back to our country, I still can’t believe this happened to us. Shocked! Review: We ordered hot chocolate and coffee. Hot chocolate was average. We asked for tap water and they charged us for that which I think is very inappropriate.
