Chuan Yue Brooklyn Reviews
It’s a fun place to go. They can let you decide the tv channel, give you free nuts to eat while you drink, and give you dices for games. It’s a very good place to spend nights out with friends🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Definitely the most amazing place at Brooklyn area so far, authentic Chinese food, classiy bar, great asmesphere, highly recommended‼
Delicious szechuan food. Must try!
I came here on my day off with my parents .... and my dog because I was expecting a hole-in-the-wall kind of Szechuan cafe. I was surprisingly mistaken. It was a high ceiling, well lit, beautifully decorated restaurant. I highly recommend their Ma-La Cold Noodles - the noodles were chewy and soft, the sauce slightly tangy, sweet and spicy. The ox tongue and tripe was a close second - the flavor profile was similar to the cold noodles, but I got a lot more of the szechuan pepper's famous tingliness throughout my mouth. Service was quick and friendly, prices were fair, and portions were satisfying. I'm definitely coming back - without my dog next time!
Soft opened Chuan Yue offers late night snacking. Servers are really attentive and patient. We ordered the beef noodle soup, clams, and chicken. Beef noodles was super tasty. Soft beef. What was interesting was the noodles they used...spaghetti An appetizer chicken and entree of clam with just enough spice Til the next time
If you love spicy food, you can come here. The favor of the dishes are pretty good. The foods are not really spicy, therefore it is more family friendly. The service is superb which the waiters are very helpful.
Comfortable place, waiters are nice, foods are great, alot of drink selection. Only one thing is little hard to find parking there.
Staff was kind, if you like spicy food I recommend coming here

Delicious szechuan food. Must try!
[COVID-19] They have outdoor seating but I did not dine out. Only takeout. [SERVICE] They called to confirm the pickup time I noted in the online order form. The call was just a few minutes after my order. Found this place from a web search for wontons in chili oil... they don’t have it but still a good spot 👌🏻 [FOOD] dan dan noodle 担担面, medium spicy - very good flavor. A bit diff from what I expected based on Han Dynasty’s dan dan noodle. Could be a bit spicier with a little more ground meat. The noodle was a bit soggy but could just because I ate it 80 minutes after it was ready. Don’t underestimate the pint—it filled my usual bowl at home. Fish Filet in hot oil 水煮鱼片 - slightly spicy - the dish was SO RED and it was slightly spicy as ordered. Biting the chilis by accident 🔥 🔥 🔥. The soup/oil wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped but the fish and veggies were so good!! Boiled some vermicelli to add into soak more flavor. Such a big dish—cannot wait to eat the leftovers with rice. Soup dumplings - good but since I ate it 80 mins after pickup, it got a bit cold (less soupy and skin more firm). Have to try again and eat it sooner 😅
Chuan Yue has a beautiful outdoor seating. Their services were phenomenal! They were very professional, patient, and really care about their customers. Go there if you want 5 star service!! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to customers and to our community!!
The taste got improve alot. Don't order the frog and duck blood they suggested you. They are not as good as they suggested. The rest are great, especially the cabbage.
Flavor was great, comparable to mala project. Seems a little dead during the day but food is still great. There's a cute photo area located in the entrance as well.
Recommended this place. Nice place to hang out. Foods quality are so good!! All the server are so nice!! Nice environment so comfy!! Will come again. Thank you for you guys super nice service!!!!
It was so good there, the places was nice and clean, their food is cheap and good, and for sure their service was so nice, i would definitely come back again
Great food and staff. Constantly refilled water and gave us more peanuts when we were finished. Great service
if you like spicy. this is close to the best in brookyn. the variety in alcohol is vast.
I’ve been here a couple times since their opening. The interior is very spacious and comfortable, with a nice decor. Unlike places nearby, it doesn’t get loud. Overall nice and cozy ambience. Service is great, the owner is really nice. The menu has also been improving, their pineapple duck fried rice is my favorite. Price is reasonable, pretty much the same as a typical restaurant in the area. I ordered takeout today, and they literally took way less than 5 minutes to prepare my fried rice👍🏼. The portion is huge, and it came in a nice paper bag instead of the cheap plastic bags. Also like how they use paper boxes for takeouts. Some serious thoughts were put into these.

I should of been aware of the red flag the moment the waitress asked if we wanted to adjust the saltiness of the dish even though we only requested to have the spice level adjusted. Despite going along with it and have our saltiness level lowered as well, the dishes still came out to be overly salty (just picture dipping everything in salt right before you eat it). About half the dishes we ordered were barely edible (now imagine if the saltiness wasn't adjusted at all)! It was as if the chef idolized Salt Bae wayyy too much and decided to douse each dish with an additional handful of salt before they were served. Also, we ordered an virgin pina colada (no alcohol) but was charged $15, the same amount it would of cost if it did contain alcohol... Would of been 1 star but I gave an additional star because the waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was nice and ambient. Not sure if that is how local people at Szechuan prefers their food since I don't often eat this type of cuisine but needless to say, I would not be coming back.

The dish portion is less than before. Also they charge the rice $2 a bowl, which is so ridiculous!!! Will never return again and would not recommend to anyone.
