Cork & Kale Brooklyn Reviews
I recently visited Cork and Slice with a few friends and had a fantastic experience. The staff were pleasant and very understanding, especially when one of my friends needed special dietary accommodations. They substituted multiple ingredients to tailor the meal to her needs without any fuss. Although our pizza crust was burnt initially, the staff promptly made a new one without any issue, which we greatly appreciated. The rest of the food was delicious, and the overall ambiance was very nice, making our evening quite enjoyable. Highly recommend for both the food and the service!
Wow have I never heard of this place??? Very elegant and lovely vibe, terrific food and great service. Out waitress was friendly and patiently answered all our questions with a smile. Food is terrific, the sea bass tacos are great, plus they offer plenty of unique salad options and the homemade pasta is excellent as well. Also I saw someone say the pizza is bomb and I couldn't agree more! The margherita pizza was absolute 🔥. They also offer cocktails - get the C&S Green and thank me later. 10/10 will def visit again!
Good spot for kosher dairy in Brooklyn that won't break the bank. This place is the old Pescada, and makes sense that they centered everything around pizza. We came with a group of 10, went family style and paid about $160 per couple ($80/person). We got 5 pies, tons of apps, salads and pastas and drinks. Service was great. Our waiter was very helpful. Pizza was pretty good, I liked the funghi and spinach artichoke varieties, although I wish the crust was a bit thinner like at Renaissance. Salads were fresh. Good stuff overall, just wish ambiance was a bit nicer (maybe darker for dinner). Also wish they had paninis.
Abselutely loved this dairy restaraunt. This is the best one i've ever been to ever. Even though it was very packed because it was the 9 days, the staff were still so kind and patient. They are very decently priced and the food was abselutely amazing. The dessert we had was the creme brule and vanilla gelato and it was more than delicious. I would abselutely come back here and definately reccomend giving this place a try.
I came here for Sunday night dinner with 3 of my friends. Reservations were easily made online. I ordered the Impossible burger entrée which I liked came with fries. I ordered it without cheese as I do not consume dairy and it was overall pretty good. I wish the onions it came with were sautéed as opposed to the French's onions it seemed like they used. Pickles on the side was a classic touch. I did not enjoy the bun though, it was piece-y and dry. Huge portion of well-seasoned fries and overall the price for my meal was mostly fair considering the ambiance & service. My friend ordered the corn ribs appetizer and they were tasty and I was glad I was able to try the trending dish. Ambiance is very nice- I loved the chic yet cozy décor down to the cloth napkins that seemed to be carefully selected by a seasoned professional decorator. The only thing I'd say constructively is I wish the music was lowered just a tad- as I had a slight hard time hearing my friends and felt like I had to yell to converse. The service is golden here. Every person from the hostess to the different waiters to the manager/owner(?) were so friendly and welcoming. The staff was understanding and meticulous with my dietary restrictions which I always appreciate. I wish all restaurants displayed this caliber of customer service/patience/kindness/warmth.
I wrote a review a year ago or so trashing Cork and Slice after they transitioned from a fabulous pizzeria to a sit down kosher dairy restaurant. At the start, the quality was not there. I am now editing my infamous review to say how happy I am with the new changes. I ordered the summer pre-fixe menu and was happy with my choices for such a low price, especially kosher. An appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $35. I also ordered a pizza which was cooked to perfection with a thin crust and crispy bottom. Overall definitely recommend. It is packed most nights. 10/10!
A beautiful place to eat great food, well made, and some with unique surprises. The beautiful Ambience and refined food choices make Cork & Slice a excellent place to spend a unique meal for any occasion, or just with someone special!
This pizza is legit the bomb! The crust is crispy perfection, and the toppings are piled on like they're having a party. The flavors are out of this world, and the staff is super friendly. I'm officially addicted.
Restaurant is beautiful. The waitresses are very attentive and caring. There is almost always a line or wait for a table. Reservations are highly recommended. Food is delicious. Prices are in line with good kosher dairy restaurant these days.

Fantastic food, so fresh and delicious! Beautiful environment. The waitress (A tall lady with short black curly hair) was extremely attentive and very on top of her game. The other staff was great as well! Impressed!!!
Salad, pasta and pizza.. all so good we reordered the exact same items 5 days later. Everyone loved the food. Thank you to Alek for all your help with my big order, I appreciate it. I also met the chef, very attentive and friendly. Great food from a great team.
Amazing personal pizzas, margherita and funghi pizzas were delicious. Could eat almost an entire pizza by yourself even after appetizer and salad. Really good Caesar salad and empanadas
I came to cork and slice with friends and had an amazing time. Food was delicious, and the workers were so kind. This place has the best pastas and pizza. Definitely will come back!
Really nice place, great environment, service was a little slow but manageable, friendly staff… food was delicious. Ice cream is phenomenal!!!
We only have tried their take out— it’s actually great, which is difficult to achieve but Cork &Slice Brooklyn gets it done. So we decided to come in for dinner….So grateful to Denise the host, for squeezing us on a busy Thursday night! It was so nice to see the restaurant full with good vibes &the food was so delicious and our server was thoughtful and honest. Overall such a great neighborhood spot!

Dinner was delicious, food arrived relatively quickly and they paced the dishes well. I thought we ordered too little but we ended up taking food home, so portion size was better than expected. Slightly small but overall experience was very pleasant Would come again

This restaurant is wonderful! I have been there several times . The food is delicious. The staff is great ! The service prompt and always good. The bartender Mike is the best he always makes my experience great. He is very personable! I can’t wait to go again!
The food was pretty good. I believe it’s geared more for the health conscious folk. The cottage cheese pancakes were a hit.

Love this kosher Italian gem in Midwood! Cork & Slice nails the brick-oven pizza (crispy, flavorful toppings) and homemade pastas — super fresh and comforting. Food is high-quality with great portions, service is attentive and friendly, and the rustic ambiance (exposed brick, warm lighting) feels inviting and upscale without being stuffy. Perfect for date night or family dinner. A bit on the pricier side for dairy kosher, but worth it for the quality. 4.5 stars — will be back soon!
First time at cork and slice Brooklyn and I must say the 5T location is wayyy better!!! It’s a pretty expensive restaurant, and I didn’t leave feeling satisfied. The food was okayy the other location is better. Also, they are a bit understaffed. The servers are all very nice and helpful. Restaurants should definitely hire a few more people I get it’s the summer And it’s more quiet, but still during dinner time the restaurant did get pretty full.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the owner/managers were very welcoming. Unfortunately that's where the compliments have to end. The food sounded delicious espeically the tricolor pizza with tomato, cream sauce, and pesto! Unfortunately it arrived burnt yet congealed and not very warm. The waiter didn't stop by again after dropping off the food, apparently not noticing the pile of black burnt crisps, and it was not at all busy. Other waiters and bus boys were kind and attentive but paying $68 (before tip!) for two glasses of house wine and a smallish burnt pizza that only my dog could eat, seems pretty outrageous. Won't be back.
