OMG SO SCRUMPTIOUS 🍕🤤😋 My most favorite pizza of all time👌🏾 I don’t even like oxtails but they way they make it on that pizza, I could eat a thousand slices 💯 This food should be illegal because I’m spending all my money on it🤗 My mouth is forever watering, who is responsible for this deliciousness 😫 Great staff too, they are all so sweet and kind. I had the sangria as well and it was hittin hard🍹

The pizza was crisp and tender. I would have this every day if I didn’t live so far. Aswell as the Sparkling Grapefruit Ting. My Pizza was cut up to accommodate my braces.

INSANE!!! I think about this pizza often. Alfredo lobster and shrimp, jerk salmon, oxtail (🤞😍🥹), and jerk shrimp. You cannot go wrong with any order here! But yall the OXTAIL!!! Easy takeaway. Adore a pizza by the slice place.

And… let me just say this. I’ll be back. You’ll be back. We’ll all be back. Creative pizza toppings. Oxtail teriyaki are my slices of choice. Notice I said slices. Working my way up to a whole pie. Just hold on. The staff here is so pleasant. They keep the line moving on the inside. They keep the line outside in good spirits. Great establishment. I see you’re in line already. Enjoy.

The pizza is very delicious. Came here a few times and even bought a pie of different slices. Was expensive but was worth the price. The have all different types of toppings. My favorites are the sweet chili shrimp, and sweet chili oxtails. They also have really long lines sometimes but it is also worth the wait.

JIMMY Wigfall

I loved it, a bit pricey, but the pizza was that good. I must return to try another slice. I also recommend the Garlic Parm Shrimp Slice. Very good!

B

We had a chopped cheese slice, a jerk shrimp slice and an oxtail slice and they were all amazing. I never eat the crust on my pizza but the dough here taste really good and all the flavors complimented each other. This is such a dope cool space. I will definitely be returning.

Heard about this spot from TikTok and Instagram. Flew in from Florida to try a slice of the oxtail pizza as well as the jerk chicken pizza. Definitely well worth it. A must try whenever in New York. The fact that they take your favorite dish and turn it into a pizza is just amazing. The authentic flavor sets them apart.

N

The oxtail pizza here is THE BEST!! I had teriyaki oxtail pizza and the stewed oxtail pizza. I also ordered the chopped cheese pizza. They were delicious 😋. This spot is 100% recommended. They even have oxtail patties. Top notch ingredients they totally ROCK!

Worth the wait, so yummy! Come early and bring a chair. The line opened at 11am we got there at about 11:30 there was maybe 11-14 people already lined up. The shop opens at 12. So in total I think we waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our pizza. I had the teriyaki oxtail and the jerk chicken, my sister had the sweet chili oxtail in the curry shrimp. The jerk chicken one was a little dry, the other ones we got were really good. Flavorful and not too much cheese. A nice balance of ingredients on the pizza. The customer service was great and the vibe on the inside is really cool.

The wait is crazy and if you never been here, you are waiting outside so you have been warned. The workers in here are upbeat so they truly try to get people in and out as fast as possible. So attitude is not needed... order one of their drinks and chill out. The more you order, the longer the wait. Once you see inside, you realize they are not working with much space but they damn sure get it done. The Shrimp, Salmon and sweet chili oxtail was so damn good. Definitely a once in a blue moon spot to hit up... Be ready to spend, this is not Angelo's pizza for 2.50 a slice...

J

Hands down the best sweet chili oxtail slice you'll ever have! We pretty much ordered 1 of whatever fit in a pizza box so we could taste as many as possible. They were all absolutely yummy!

H
Hardy Cherenfant

I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. The crust is perfect and the toppings are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The toppings stick to the pizza and don’t slide off. A bunch of black women at the counter so I got the most attentive service with R&B muss as ic blaring in the background. I don’t think they sell pies though. I’m coming back!

Came through on our way home after my son's birthday trip to American Dream mall. We waited in line for about an hour(Monday at noon) came in and ordered a whole pizza with different slices. Now let me tell y'all I don't even like oxtail like that but for some reason it of all the different slices I had the brown stew oxtail was my favorite! If I ever drive through again I'd definitely grab that and try the curry oxtail. The lobster and shrimp wasn't as good as I expected though. That was the only disappointment. Oh yeah they forgot 1 of my slices and I didn't open the box until I got to the car so MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL SLICES BEFORE YOU WALK OFF. I went back with my receipt and they let me back in and gave me my slice.

V
Victoria Hardy

Famous for their oxtail pizza, we popped in for a few slices after church. We got there just as they opened so no wait and fresh options. The staff direct you so that you create a line seamlessly and can select your pizza. It's pricey, but it's gourmet pizza. The seating is existent but VERY limited, so if it's a nice day, take them to go and enjoy them in the park across the street. Our favorite was the curry oxtail. Enjoy!

E
Erica Hamer

Cuts and Slices is a level above the rest. Each employee we were assisted by was polite and professional. The owner is so sweet. He even gave us a slice for free. As I watched each customer come in. The owner was the same way with each one. Now the pizza, definitely get the chopped cheese. Doesn't matter what you get you won't be disappointed.

B

Service: line stretching out the door and I still got my slices in less than 20 minutes. Food: very creative flavors and topping combinations. Definitely not your Nona’s idea of a pizza. Atmosphere: can’t really say how often I’ve had my order taken with afrobeats playing softly in the background. Small place with huge character. Price: about $5-15 a slice Overall: 8.7/10

C

I've been here 3x I've tried different slices each time- they're all bussin! This is my ratings started at 1 being most fav down the list in order. 1. Curry Oxtail 2. Sweet chili oxtail 3. Jerk Chicken Truffle Alfredo 4. Lobster Shrimp Truffle Alfredo 5. Brown Stew Oxtail 6. Chop Cheese 7. Tulum 8. Jerk Chicken Ur guaranteed to wait an hr. If you wanna try any of the oxtail pizzas get their early because they run out of those slices in the evening due to high demand. It's worth the wait and the hype.

M
Monique Gabriele

OMG lines may be long but that sweet chili oxtail is worth alll the wait. It was delicious and had the perfect tenderness that is needed for oxtail. The line moves in a timely fashion and on average it was a 20-30 min wait at 3:30. The fried shrimp truffle slice was crunch and delicious. A must try for exotic pizza curators.

Been years and felt like I never left. Got to bring my wife and she enjoyed the once slice review. Supporting this black owned business is a pleasure. So if you want great pizza pull up beloved

I was impressed and excited by the variety of unique options and toppings they have here! Here’s what I ordered: Patties Sweetchilli Patty ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (crust not as flaky but I loved the filling) Brown Stew Patty ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (loved the flaky crust) Slices Curry Oxtail ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Chicken And Waffle ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ #2 (savory and sweet!) Chopped Cheese ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ #3 (tastes like a legit chopped cheese) Jerk Chicken ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ #1 (flavorful and spicy!) Turkey Bacon Chicken Black Truffle Alfredo ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Jerk Shrimp ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ It is pricey but worth it for a different pizza experience The interior was cool and had a mom and pop vibe. Seating is limited so you’re most likely going to have to carry out. The menu is in an odd spot(away from the pizza showcase) and I didn’t see it while I was ordering. Might be worth it to move it to the people’s line of sight when ordering so they aren’t overwhelmed not knowing what to order

I
I hope this helps

A whole NY, Brooklyn experience, unapologetically so. I have come to avoid pizza in most places because most toppings tend to be some variation of pork, that I don’t eat. But here you will find so many selections of chicken, beef, ox-tail. We waited in line outside for about 30 mins. It’s an efficient process, they call you in 4-8 at a time to place your order with samples on display. So so so good. I see why the ratings are so high and the flavor is off the charts. Grab n go style, their is a neighboring park that’s okay sit. Do your research, remember this is New York so the vibe in your face. Enjoy!

The line for the store is a bit confusing. However I enjoyed that there was a turkey pepperoni option. My cousin had the oxtail slight and said it was delightful. For 2 slices, our total was around $30. There's also no seating area, but you can might find some near the park across the street.

This spot really does live up to the hype. The food is delicious and creative- such a brilliant idea and an explosion of flavors in every bite. It's good to see people from all walks of life show up to experience Cuts and Slices. Food has the power to build bridges and connections. The place is small and only has one table with a few chairs for seating. The staff was cool and overall gives off Brooklyn vibes. The pizza flavors I tried were worth the money and inspired me to come back and try other menu items. I also had an oxtail patty which was soooooo good! It gets very busy so expect a line and waiting time. But again, it's worth it. Highly recommend this place.

J

Everything they said is true, smelled amazing when I walked in, and the variety of pizza is crazy. I had the oxtail pizza regular I guess, I ate the whole slice in two minutes . Lol that’s how good it was and the line was almost out the door when I realized I should’ve got two!

D
Dawan Rose

So freaking good. I enjoyed every slice! Definitely worth the hour 30 drive. My only constructive criticism is to be careful when eating the oxtail slice. Small bones were left behind and got my teeth 🦷 good. Other than that I highly recommend trying this place out. Love black owned businesses.

S
Sandie Green

I arrived 5 minutes after the pizzeria was opened, and the line was a block and a half long. I had to wait 2 hours but it was worth it. I brought 6 different slices, and all of them are delicious. So far, my favorite is the sweet teriyaki oxtail and the chicken parm. I love the crust. I'm addicted. It's worth every penny.

A
Anny Martinez

I don't think you understand how magical this pizzeria is from its ambiance the minute you walk in, you know this is a special experience. From the unique pizza slices (I had the salmon/ truffle and lobster/crab slices) to the amazing positive music and vibes. The service is top notch!

J
Jasmine Price

Very busy and had a line. We ordered the chopped cheese pizza, oxtail pizza, and 2 sweet chili oxtail fries. The fries took a long time (20-30 minutes). Was worth the wait though because the fries were SOO good 10/10!

This place floored me. I have to admit it. I have been told about this gem of a joint for sometime now. I finally got to go.... and baby..it was EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Then to find out it was right in my hood,or my stomping grounds as the old timers would say....lol. The selections were crazy. They really put to shame the ole Italian joints we use to eat from. You know the one's where there's at least one Anthony.... and we in the community watched as the owners kids grew up to adulthood and we put them through school.... c'mon fa'get about it!!!!!!... But we've come along way from traditional toppings with these guys. They had enough combinations to make me feel like a kid in a candy store. I couldn't make up my mind. The workers were VERY pleasant I appreciate great customer service. When the young lady found out is was my 1st time.....she was just as gentle with me as the delicate flower I am....lmaoooo. I'm just playing about that, but real talk there whole experience for a pizza joint was through the roof amazing. Congratulations to Cuts & Slices you guys deserve every bit. Of the praise you get.

Oh man this pizza is 10 out of 10! Wish this came to Maryland. This pizza was everything. So fire. I would recommend anyone to try it. The customer service was great. The host helped keep out since it was my first time and suggested some great things to try.

S

Man, that oxtail pizza is banging, but the shrimp and lobster slice is next-level. It’s cool that this is a Black-owned spot, but honestly, the unique menu options alone will have me coming back for another slice. If you’re in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens, this place is an absolute must.

S
Shawny B

Definitely worth all the hype. Vibe is hip hip meets pizza. Wife had the oxtail pizza and I had the chicken Alfredo. They do whole pies and slices. We didn’t see anyone famous but maybe next time.

K

I want you to realize just how amazing this place is, so my dramatics are completely necessary, ok? So bare with me. Ok, so my friend hit me up on TikTok and was like, “you gotta try this place! They’re black owned and they have oxtail pizza!” I was like, “wait, what??” As if black owned wasn’t enough for me to go try it, it’s the fact that he said unto me, “they have oxtail pizza”! I have never in my life!! Like, can you even?? Oxtail pizza is GENIUS and I needed to partake in this black excellence! So I think it was no more than 2 days after my friend recommended this place, I was my makin my way downtown, walkin’ fast, faces pass, and I was Cuts and Slices bound, ok? So I pulled up, to find this hip, late 80’s, early 90’s-esque type of setting. The decor was LIVE, hear?! I’m talking Jafar from Aladdin, Chucky from Child’s Play, an arcade game, skateboards and lots more! It is picture-worthy for sure! The music was bumpin’ and the pizza was spinnin’ girl! I was so.ready. Ok, so I clearly knew what I wanted, but seeing that they had so many other cool pizza flavors, I at least wanted to try 2 different slices. I saw that they have this shrimp and lobster Alfredo pizza with black truffle, so I decided on that as my second choice and girl, let me just say, I am sooooo glad I did. This pizza was giving layers and depths of flavors. It truly did taste like alfredo sauce and that black truffle just took it to another level! There was meaty, succulent clumps of lobster on it, as well as plenty of shrimp! They ain’t skimp on the shrimp, hear me?! It was exceptional! Ok, second slice (thee slice I came for), was the brown stew oxtail slice. Girl…………….I just can’t. I couldn’t. I could not. Like, who do they even think they are making a pizza like this?! I felt so disrespected in the best way and I welcome more of it! This pizza had me in my feelings. I needed Jazmine Sullivan to encourage me to pick them up! That oxtail was melt in ya mouf TENDER, ok? It was juicy, moist, succulent and FLAVORFUL! The right amount of fat content added all the richness it needed. I was on a park bench savoring and nursing this pizza down to the last bite. I’m really not sure that I deserved it smh. Listen, if you love oxtail and you love pizza, then you should already be on your way to Cuts and Slices in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. Go buy black, and get you some incredible, well thought out pizza in the process!

Best of best ! Pizza ingredients 100% freshly made. Delicious and authentically tasteful. Very ingenious to think of the blends , jerk chicken , chopped cheese , Black truffle Alfredo shrimp, I mean the entire pizza menu is fire !!!! Thank you for being creative and serving customers GOOD food. May the business continue to grow, and thrive !!

This place is definitely a vibe down to the music service. The atmosphere smacked dead in the city of Brooklyn pizzas $10 or more. I got the sweet chili chicken and the oxtail and a soda that ran like $25 overall pizzas 10 out of 10.

Wasn't sure what to expect but I was very happy with the pizza. Had a variety pie to kind of test multiple waters at once. They're all good but the pepperoni and buffalo chicken stood out. Try it you won't be disappointed!!!

My first visit to Cuts & Slices was AMAZING and let me add that it is a black-owned business 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Oxtail slice was absolutely delicious and I also purchased the sweet chile oxtail patty. Service was great and efficient. I will be back soon. Great job Cuts & Slices!

Omg this the pizza 🍕 spot They got oxtail, shrimp 🍤 Jerk chicken pizza and so much more Must pull up beloved and get you some

M

This hypey place does very out-there, unconventional pizza with a permanent queue, but it’s worth the wait, hype and slightly higher price point. The oxtail slices are outstanding - intensely savoury and generously topped. Jerk chicken and buffalo chicken were also excellent (and slightly cheaper). The crust is unlike any pizza I’ve had too, and reminds me almost of Italian ciabatta. Service on a busy Saturday afternoon was manic but friendly.

Was just visiting NY for some good food at random places & this spot did not disappoint!! The sweet chili oxtail slices were most definitely on point & a must try If you love oxtails like me! The jerk chicken Black truffle was amazing as well! I can't wait to eat there again!!

This place has two different locations at the moment ,one in Brooklyn, New York, and one in Queens New York. I visited the Brooklyn spot. It’s a small place and it only has one table. we got lucky enough to get the table. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. It looks like most people go there for takeout. They also have a delivery service. The whole time I was there the line was out the door. They offer over a dozen different type of pizzas and alcohol, drinks. This is not the typical pizza place. It was all unique type of slices and pies. We tried a variety of slices. Chicken and waffles, Jerk chicken, lobster and crab black truffle Alfredo, Fried salmon black truffle Alfredo, Garlic palm shrimp, Turkey sausage Alfredo and Sweet teriyaki oxtail.

Yoo this is my first google review ever. The pizza and the service is excellent !! I love the sweet chilli oxtail slice snd my girl tore UP that fried shrimp and fish slice. My other friend also loves the brown stew oxtail. Shout out to Randy for making our day, will definitely be back 💃🏾

So I had Cuts & Slices pizza a couple weeks prior but didn't go thru the experience of going to the place til the other day. I think we waited a little over a hour. But they do handle the line pretty good. Also they give everyone free ice cold water especially in the hot heat. I got the Sweet Chili Salmon, Lasagna, Curry Oxtail, Curry Shrimp, and Lobster/Shrimp Black Truffle Alfredo. My fave is actually the Salmon , Lobster & Shrimp and Lasagna. Also the Brown Stew Oxtail I had beforehand. All the different sizes have flavor but these hit the best for me. I would go back if the wait times weren't as crazy. The staff is nice as well and patient.

Had this spot recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint! The oxtail slices were absolutely delicious, everything I had hoped for. Especially the teriyaki oxtail slice, that was my favorite. The vibe was very cool. Loved the skate decks on the wall and the old school memorabilia all over. Definitely going back!

First time here. LOVE THIS PLACE. This place is small. Staff is assertive but very friendly. Be patient waiting for your food, as the sign says. But if you’re a foodie you already know not to rush good food. Food was top notch. A lot of thought was put into these flavor combinations. My favorite is the sweet chilly oxtail…. Dangerous lol. Definitely would come back. Hopefully these toll prices stay low. I live in NJ. But there’s something that keeps me driving to the NY food spots😀

Black owned pizza business?? Count me in and I say YES YES YES! It was my first time there and I'm truly impressed with the variety, display, and ambiance. I tried the jerk chicken alfredo with black truffle, chicken and waffle, vegan with toppings, and plain cheese. It did not disappoint and I really appreciate the pizza options that do not have tomato sauce. I asked plenty of questions and the lady who served me was pleasant and didn't rush me. Thanks because I have a new favorite spot. 😍

Great service! The oxtail pizza slices are everything. The slices are just pricey. But the hype is worth it. I can't wait to go again.

M
MONIQUE KIRKSEY

I had the brown stewed oxtail and the fried salmon black truffle Alfredo. Both were ah-mazing. The froze' was a nice unexpected option as well; took the vibes up a notch. It was nice that they don't use any pork products. I will definitely go back on my next trip to NYC.

Somehow we went at the perfect time, and there was no wait or line. This pizza is not typical and was not cheap. It was DELICIOUS! I got the sweet chili oxtail and a curry chicken slice. I loved them both. The pizza crust is also very tasty. I wish I had some softened butter to slather on the ends. Yum!

B

For delicious pizza with unique tops this is the spot. From seafood, beef, oxtail, turkey, chicken, and more! The oxtail slices are a must try so deliciously and melt in your mouth goodness. Careful there could be tiny bones lucky mine didn’t have any. The seafood was good and actually felt like it was legit seafood, no imitation here. Chicken slices were also good and worth a try; jerk/curry specifically. Friendly staff, small dining area to eat, can get crowded so be patient it will be worth it! Definitely go back and try some other slices in the future. Pro tip: don’t take to go, eat there or within 30 mins for best flavor/texture.

my cousins were in town from london & wanted to try food you can’t find just anywhere, so i took them to cuts & slices, where they did not disappoint! luckily we had no line to contend with & the service was fast when we walked in. the sweet chili oxtail slice caused a physical reaction of pleasure upon first bite. i smashed my way through my two slices (the other shrimp alfredo was also fire) & i will happily visit this cozy, local spot when i’m in the mood for pizza a la charming *drama*.

I had THEE best slice of oxtail pizza. I couldn't imagine it being that good but it was so fantastic and delicious omg omg I cant wait to go back. Just amazing so amazing so amazing so delicious. Everything about it was perfect. Thank you for amazing experience!!!!!!!!!!

A
Amber Knight

The food was really good. It’s an infusion of Caribbean food and other styles of pizza. The atmosphere was ok and generic just a place to sit and eat real quick and leave the place is mainly known for the pizza not the atmosphere. The staff are cool, never had bad encounters but i feel like they could be more welcoming but at the same time i get it lol. Pricing for four slices of pizza is but hey everyone gotta eat and nyc not cheap.

My family and I were visiting NY and had a list of places that we wanted to try. Cuts & Slices came highly recommend so we gave it a try. First of all, its such a cute neighborhood pizza spot. Second, the customer service was amazing. The young lady behind the counter was so friendly and helpful, especially because we had never been there and didn't know what to get. We ended up trying a little bit of everything! We loved these unique pizza flavors and would absolutely come back whenever we are in NY! That chopped cheese and sweet chili oxtail pizza.... my goodness!!!! 🙌🏾🔥🍕

The curry chicken slice at Cuts & Slices is a masterpiece. The seasoning is spot on, bringing just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor. Every bite has that rich, comforting curry kick, and the crust is perfection — crisp, sturdy, and able to stand up to all that flavor without getting soggy. On an unplanned Saturday night, the stars aligned because there wasn’t a crazy line — and it made the whole experience even better. Easily one of the best slices in Brooklyn.

I know i waited until the hype died down but, that hype was granted. Greeted soon as we entered the establishments interactive with customer and playing music that 👌 was great for the ambience. Endless topping and flavors of pizza but the award goes to the Oxtail slice with special me to the sweet chili chicken. Definitely will come again

We got there before the crowd came. My girls and I each got 2 slices of various pizzas and we must admit that our all time favorite is the Sweet Chili Oxtail. Hubby and I are headed back this weekend and that’s my 2nd stop once we land!

I've been meaning to come here for some time and it was worth the visit! I've come to the place fully aware that the pizza here is gonna cost more that what you would get from the regular Pizzeria. I decided to visit the Bushwick location first because it's nearby one of the Blink Fitness gyms I go to. I wouldn't say it's a hole in the wall joint but since it's located around a residential area instead of a business strip, it has the appeal of standing out while not being present. Coming into the place, it's a bit on the condensed side but you can eat in as long as there isn't more than maybe 8 people there which was fortunate for me because I had the area to myself for the majority of the time I sat in to eat. Their Oxtail slices are their signature slice (since where else can you get a slice like that) so I had the Oxtail Stew slice and the BBQ Chicken Slice right above it. Completely forgot they also had the Chicken and Waffle slice but I'll get to that another time. The Oxtail Slice was superb! You can taste the meat and sauce of the Oxtail along with a few bits of Collard Greens, it's a piece of soul food in one slice, it was definitely as advertised. The BBQ Chicken Slice was no slouch either, well cooked chicken, the sauce must've been pretty smoky because there was also a spicy kick to it but it wasn't overwhelming. They do have beverages but they're standard fare. Wish they had root beer or creme soda but that doesn't take away from the overall score. I recommend this place and they have 2 other locations in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and St. Albans in Queens. Go for it! You won't regret it.

I ordered the curry oxtail slice and it was SO good. First time trying oxtail at all actually but I wasn't disappointed. Prices are a bit steep but it's a unique food choice. Will definitely be back to try another slice.

Been meaning to come here for the longest to try their famous oxtail slice and I was surprised they also had a shrimp/lobster slice! Both were delicious, but I ended up loving their shrimp/lobster slice more. Prices are on the high side given the ingredients, which I get. I would recommend giving it a try for sure!

I'm giving this place 1000 out of 10. I'm from Texas and we barely have any good pizza out here so when I'm around the NYC area I always grab a slice. But the pizza here is on a different level from the others I've had when I visit. Me and the wifey grabbed three slices. The original brown stew ox tail, jerk chicken, and the shrimp and crab black truffle and let me tell you every one of them was excellent. Aside from the the toppings the crust was fluffy but crunchy at the same time and tbh I'm not a big fan of crust but I tore these up. So going forward this will be the spot to hit up for not just pizza but my first meal when I touch down. I'm going to throw this out into the universe and say if the owners want to open up a spot in the Dallas area it would be greatly appreciated 😁

I've been trying to visit this spot for some time now, but there were always hours wait lines whenever I would be in the area. One lucky Sunday I got my first chance. I was immediately greeted upon walking in ( appreciated, especially since the counter server was ringing up 2 people while answering questions of a third) and I immediately ordered what all my friends told me to get- curry oxtail slice. I also ordered a chopped cheese slice out of curiosity- I love a chopped cheese! The oxtail slice has absolutely nothing about it beyond the fact it's served on a triangle shaped slice of bread. That being said, this is the most delicious and unique slice of pizza I've ever had. The oxtail is soft, tender, bountiful, amazingly flavorful- this oxtail tail is better than a lot of the braised oxtail I've had at different Caribbean restaurants throughout Brooklyn. I honestly wish I had a slice in hand right now. The chopped cheese slice was equally amazing- generous amounts of meat and cheese, seasoned well, and a little bit of heat. It's as good as some of the chopped cheeses I've had around the city (can't compare to the Bronx, haven't had any there yet) I know they've been successful enough that they've started opening other locations. Gonna try the East Village Cuts & Slices next!

So good! Came here for their famous oxtail pizza and it was delicious! It was pricey but worth it. As expensive as oxtail is you’d think they’d be skimping on the meat but thats not the case at all. The meat isn’t overwhelming because of how good the flavors are but for preference i wish there was tad less meat and more cheese. In some bites i forgot i was eating a pizza. To solve this problem i may order an entire pie and have it customized. All in all its a must try.

Let me start by saying this place came HIGHLY recommended! Of course I had to try the world renowned oxtail slice. I was a bit hesitant because who puts oxtail on a slice of pizza. But babyyy let me tell you. It's worth the hype. The store manager is also extremely nice, professional and has a great presence. Truly the entire staff were wholesome but the Manager Z 10/10 just like the slices! I'd highly recommend the pizza. My friend had the shrimp slice and can't stop talking about it. I also had chicken/turkey bacon slice. Delicious. Also the slices are really filling. Worth every penny.

I finally made it after nearly a year and a half I made my way down to cuts and slices and the first thing I will say first and foremost based on my truth is that they did not have 2 of the 3 slices that I want it being the chicken and waffles slice, the lasagna slice, The Shrimp and lobster black truffle Alfredo & The turkey & beef pepperoni slice. You’re probably saying they didn’t have two of three, but you listed four that’s because they didn’t have a back up for my back up. I must also add that it took me an hour and a half to get there. So I basically ordered a chicken and French toast slice, A curry oxtail slice & Fried shrimp and lobster black truffle Alfredo & A chopped cheese slice. The total came to $90 plus $10 tip made it $100 even . And honestly, the Spidey of the slice in my opinion was a tad small, but you do have to take into account that they have delicious exotic toppings, and that is ultimately what you are paying for . The chicken and French toast was decent. I would prefer the chicken and waffles. According to my girlfriend, the chop cheese slice was better than the chop cheese heros is that I buy around the neighborhood. I definitely plan on going there again as it’s definitely a foodie thing to do and it’s worth the experience. However, I will make sure to call before I make the trip out there to make sure they have the slices that I actually want to eat. I will have to add, however, to have spent over $10 for a pepperoni slice that only has three pieces of pepperoni is down right unacceptable

Delicious pizza with lots of great toppings you wouldn't normally expect like oxtail, curry chicken, and various shrimps. We liked the specialty pizzas better than the cheese, but both were incredible. Will definitely go back if I'm in town. Things to know: if you're looking to sit, probably not going to happen, since it's busy and there's only one table, but there is a standing area. Service is pretty quick if you're getting just slices, but there's likely to be a line.

4.3 | the wait at this spot was THREE HOURS, but I was committed. I think their systems need a bit of work structure-wise but obviously with the demand and the right space, they can only do so much. anyway, on to the pizza, AMAZING! the oxtail sweet chili was sold out [quite sad], but the curry oxtail and the brown stew oxtail is what I settled for and it was farrrr from settling. the pizza was made fresh [I asked for the two most recent out the oven], and the oxtail was so juicy and fresh. the thin slice, the cheese, the flavors. this place is not overhyped to me. I loved it. I would recommend trying it and maybe trying to go a little before they open to get a leg up on the wait. I wouldn't be surprised if they open another location soon, the demand is HIGH!

My husband was a little upset because he’s been following them online and had his mind set on that lobster and shrimp Alfredo Pizza and of the course the day we go, they didn’t have any! Great pizza .. if you not spending $50 or more your not ordering it right. I'm going back for the oxtail because it was soo good.. Plenty of parking on the weekend. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the line was only about a 10 min wait and 10mins for my pizza to get heated.

I saw this place on IG and decided the the next time I was in Brooklyn I would try it. So we went and two hours forty five minutes in line we made it in. These unique slices are definitely worth the try. We purchased them by the slice so we could see which one would be our favorite and ALL of them were good. I must say the chili salmon was really good and my husband loved the oxtail slice. If ever you're in Brooklyn and want done unique pizza slices I say try Cuts and Slices...

Number one the food is amazing. But be extremely patient. Long wait!! There should be a better setup for calling complete orders like a texting system. People sit in there cars because the wait is so long. But it is worth the wait. Oxtail, Beef pepperoni & Jerk chicken pizza is what we ordered. It did not disappoint. The staff is extremely nice.

If you're just like me and you love quality Jamaican food And pizza and you wish you could have then both then stop thinking about what you want to eat and just send it. The line is crazy so I would suggest coming at least an hour before they open because if not you might miss out on the slices you want, they sell out quick! Top 2 recommended 10/10 - Sweet chili Oxtail and Jerk chicken truffle Alfredo

The pizza was good, that's one thing they have down packed. The specialty slices we had were great, which is what you go there for. Only one out of the 8 slices we didn't like. Unfortunately, the service needs some major work. I understand it's a small shop with limited space, but I think it's things they can do to speed up the service. NO WAY I would wait in line again that long. Over 2.5 hours from start to finish. If I had to estimate, it was only 25-30 or so people in front of me, and we got there within minutes after opening For one, have the correct signs in front of the display so people will know what it is. An employee gave a customer in front of me attitude because she was asking what which pizza was which, which wasn't really her fault because the signs in front of the pizzas on display were wrong. I'm not even sure what some of our slices were, because after waiting in line so long, we just asked for the few we know we wanted to try, and the rest we picked at random because we didn't want to wait for the pizzas that were still being cooked. Also, people had to keep repeating themselves because the music is loud, and some people couldn't her the employees right away, or vice versa. Simple way is to turn the music down, or have the employees write the order down so they not asking people multiple times to confirm their order. I've been to places with the hype and demand like this place, so waiting in line was expected, but it's no way they were operating as efficiently as they could be, especially since they weren't selling entire pies, only slices. I definitely recommend their specialty slices, but if the line is even half of what it was the next time I visit, I'll keep going and find somewhere else to eat. I went on a weekday, so I could only assume weekend wait times are way worse. Hopefully as time goes on, they'll improve the service and wait times, they definitely have a good product. Worth a try if you're willing to get there before they open, or wait in a long line for hours. I wasn't wowed from the pizza as I was expecting, especially for someone who LOVES oxtail, but definitely not bad pizza at all.

C

The pizza is delicious!! We ordered the sweet chili oxtail, jerk oxtail, curry shrimp and chopped cheese. The only problem is that since they have went viral the wait time is extremely long and they don’t have a great system after standing on a long line to get in the store to order your pizza, you have to go back and stand outside and wait for them to yell out your ticket number it would be better if they have automatic text service or vibrating pagers so you could wait in the comfort of your car.

Great new options for toppings you won't typically find in any other establishment. If you're a fan of carribean food you need to try this pizza. The jerk chicken black truffle pizza had a kick to it but all the flavors went well together. Sweet chilli Oxtail slice, oh man it's really good but you should get something else and leave it for me. Shrimp & Lobster truffle pizza - when my 3 year old gets older I'm going to give her this and say we invinted Italian food. This is really good as well.

The Oxtail pizza was Highly Overrated.. But they have so many other hidden gems that you can't go wrong. From sweet to savory and spicy.. they will have something to meet your needs. It was pretty good experience so much pizza slices to choose from. The store is not that big and you have to arrive early to find parking… The pizza is pretty good a bit over hyped to be honest… but is an experience. I drove all the way from NJ to brooklyn it was a super long drive… The decor was modern and chill vibe… If you are in the area I would say stop by and support pizza slices a bit on the pricey side paid almost $20 for one slice yikes…

This place was dope I was very surprised by the quality of food. Oftentimes places like this are a gimmick and the food isn’t very flavourful. I was really happy about the flavour of the dough, it was soft and had a good texture and flavour, also the meat options were amazing. I tried the Sweet chili oxtail and the jerk shrimp. Both were fantastic. The jerk shrimp really had the spice combinations that make the food authentic and the oxtail was succulent and flavourful fusing both Caribbean and east Asian flavours. This was a hit. It was pricy but worth it.

I’ve been waiting awhile to try this local spot. I was overwhelmed by all the choices, and to be clear there’s no such thing as a plain slice here. I ended up choosing the jerk chicken slice and the chopped cheese slice. Both were super fresh tasting and had a great texture and crust on each slice. It was also cool how after you order your slice they take it in the back to heat it up and dress it up with some kind of final touch. Customer service was spot on. She was fast, efficient and easy going. Place was on the tiny side and some nice memorabilia on the walls. With all that said…. I was a bit taken aback when my total came up. Just under 18$ for two slices. No drink. But it was pretty solid and it feels like it’s not an every day “pizza shop” so I would be willing to go back and try another one of their slices.

Ordered on uber eats, just to try it out. I live close by and always been kinda curious. We ordered a few different slices. Now, the food wasn’t bad, BUT the oxtail slice was a little bit soggy on the bottom. The bbq chicken tasted like any other bbq slice I’ve had before. So overall, the food was good but in my opinion it’s didn’t live up to the hype. The slices were more flatbread-ish. Ima note though, that the oxtail itself tasted nice.

Yo I'm very much so a classic Brooklyn pizza lover and I believe it if it ain't broke don't fix it.. but I'm not going to lie the oxtail Pizza is delicious. It's such an unusual yet perfect pairing. And I really enjoy how to setup is on the inside for like a arcade kind of feel. The chopped cheese pizza is delicious too. Wish it was bigger to dine it but that's what makes this place unique.

I finally got to try the much-talked-about Cuts & Slices in Brooklyn — this spot has been at the top of my must-try list for a while, and it did not disappoint. I started with the brown stew oxtail slice, and wow…it was incredible. The flavor was rich, tender, and honestly lived up to the hype. The only downside was the price — $12.50 per slice — but considering how expensive oxtail is, I get it. I couldn’t stop there and decided to try one of their white/alfredo options: the fried salmon slice. It was good, but not quite on the same level as the oxtail. It was also a bit oilier than expected. Overall, I’d rate the oxtail slice 4.5/5 and the salmon slice 3/5. The customer service was great — friendly and efficient — and I’d definitely come back to try more, especially their sweet chili or curry oxtail slices or maybe even a shrimp or lobster slice next time.

To support black owned was great! We brought about 6 different slices. Sweet Chili Oxtail - Chicken, Turkey Bacon Alfredo - Chicken Alfredo - Chopped cheese - Fried Salmon Alfredo & Crab n Lobster. Prices range from $11 to $16 a slice. Crab n Lobster was ok ( I was expecting a party in my mouth) Fried Salmon Alfredo (👎🏾 definitely not for me) Sweet Chili Oxtail ( I'll pass)... The crust was outstanding (I don't usually eat any crust but this was lightly crusted, not doughy just prefect Customer service was great, they were patient, made sure you were getting what you ordered. Friendly and polite! No you can't eat inside. It's small, they let about 5 to 6 people in at a time, you order then exit and someone will bring your food out to you. Yes you're waiting on line outside.

I've been to Cuts and Slices on a couple occasions now. I would recommend a couple of their slices as a 'try once, maybe twice, but never again' sorta deal, but I can't see myself having this pizza more than a small handful of times a year. Much like the very popular chain, Artichoke Basille's Pizza, Cuts and Slices is expensive and rich to the point of near-nausea. While the idea of a teriyaki salmon slice or oxtail pizza might sound appealing, it is only a novelty for the first few bites and a chore to finish the rest.

Had to see if this was worth the hype. Unfortunately, it did not meet the hype. The line is ridiculous. You have to be online at 10:50am if you want to be the first 10 inside. When I arrived at 11:14 a.m., 27 people were ahead of me. Finally got in and waited agian outside after paying. Got my pizza after 10 mins. No big deal started with the oxtail pizza because I love oxtail period. But this pizza fell short. The oxtail was very dried out, and it really did not have that flavorful taste. the dough is different, not your traditional pizza dough reminds me of a beef patty crust. And that's not a bad thing. The garlic shrimp pizza was definitely my favorite of the 2. Was it worth the time and money absolutely not....... one and done

This place is being marketed heavily on social media. However, it's truly false advertising. First off the exterior of the building is off putting. More money should be spent on beautifying the space. From the street you can't tell what kind of establishment this is. When you enter the place, there is no menu or prices in sight. I had to stand there and ask the server to read off a list of at least 10 different pizza combinations that were there. Then when I proceed to the register, I'm shocked to see that a slice is $11. The price point is a little on the steep side, $6-7 would be more appropriate. Lastly, the pizza was bland. Oxtail is a very savory and flavorful meat and it tasted like nothing on this oxtail sweet chili slice. The cheese is not inviting and the crust leaves little to be desired and there was nothing sweet about the chili, if anything the slice was acidic. The garlic shrimp pizza tasted like liquid butter and bread. Again the pizza was very bland. The shrimp tasted fishy and rubbery. The salmon slice had huge pieces of salmon but still bland. As excited as I was to try this place, I'll pass. I will not be back. For basically $100 for a box of pizza, it needs to be absolutely delicious and this is NOT.

⭐ Honest Review: Overhyped & Overpriced – Needs Serious Improvement My husband and I drove in from PA to finally try this spot. As original New Yorkers and supporters of Black-owned small businesses, we came in excited… but left highly disappointed. We’re not worried about price – we understand inflation and don’t expect “stone age” prices. But if you’re charging premium rates, the food should absolutely be worth it. Sadly, it wasn’t. What We Ordered: • Sweet Chili Shrimp Slice – $10.50 • Buffalo Chicken Slice – $7.50 • Sweet Chili Oxtail Slice – $12.48 Food Breakdown: • Sweet Chili Shrimp Slice: The shrimp itself had good flavor, but the slice was so soggy it was practically mush. I couldn’t even finish it — more than half went in the trash. • Buffalo Chicken Slice: My husband said this was the best of the two, but still nothing memorable. • Sweet Chili Oxtail Slice: The oxtail meat was flavorful, but the sauce was overpowering, making the dough just as soggy as the shrimp slice. Sometimes less is more, and this was one of those times. Service Experience: While ordering, I told the young lady at the counter that my husband is allergic to seafood and asked her to keep the slices separate. She got distracted mid-order, chatting with her coworker, and still placed them together — even after we both reminded her. When my husband mentioned it again, her response was, “You should have told me.” 😑 Final Verdict: Not worth the hype. Not worth the drive. And definitely overpriced for the quality and service we experienced. We genuinely wanted to love this place, but both the food execution and customer service need serious improvement.

Overpriced pizza. Uber Eats had a promo where I could buy four slices for $45 and I’d receive a $15 discount. I did that for pickup. Overall, service was good and they were nice. Some slices had to be substituted but upon arrival to the shop, I was able to get what I originally paid for. Curry chicken slice 3.5/5. The better of the flavors I had. This was pretty good but nothing I’d get again. French toast and chicken slice 1.5/5. It was nasty. This was not French toast and the chicken…was not fried. I did not like the taste of this. I initially wanted chicken and waffles, it was not available. Oxtail slice 2/5. This was terrible. Hard “shredded oxtail” pieces, barely any flavor. The dough was tough. I would never recommend this. Jerk shrimp slice 3/5. It was just okay. Nothing to be crazy over. Jerk flavor was barely noticeable and again, tough dough. The slices are also very small. The dough is not good. It was not an enjoyable experience at this small shop. I am utterly disappointed at what they offer here. I came here on Saturday, 9/20/25. Can sodas are $1.50 and they do offer some sort of alcoholic mimosa-like drink. Inquire about the prices if you decide to stop by. Overall, 2/5 rating. I do not believe I would ever come back here. Mediocre pizza!

Hard, dry, nasty, expired, old slices. Oxtail under seasoned. Shrimp rubbery and tastes like frozen. Crust bland. too thick and soggy. Wait way too long for pizza slices. Lack of cheese with no pull. Understaffed. Overpriced. Rude. If you get these types of slices demand to get your money back.

Bowling alley quality of pizza that lives off the hype and novelty of its toppings. First off good pizza should be good plain. Their crust is terrible. Oxtail topping tastes great but who cares when its $12 for one slice. Its absurd. The ambiance in the restaurant feels like a smoke shop or a teenagers bedroom. Way too much tacky supreme merch. If flight club is an aspirational aesthetic i guess you would be impressed. No clue what that has to do w making good pizza though. If it wasn’t for tourists theres simply no way this place would survive off the quality of its product. Also be prepared to wait. And theres nowhere to actually eat the food unless you go next door to the park but thats a nitpick. I wanted to like it but it feels like pizza for non pizza people. More for yall tho im good on it. Ive seen the business owner reply and say essentially that its a “different type” of pizza in response to criticisms about the crust, using the wrong type of flour, etc. making a technically substandard pizza and calling it “different” feels like a lazy shield to valid criticism and not wanting to improve. Detroit makes different pizza, chicago makes different pizza, hell even look at what they do in brazil. Theres really no reason you should be able to get away with wet soggy over-proofed overly thick crust in brooklyn. Where are the standards. This is the heart of pizzaland USA.

I was super excited that they decided to offer delivery on UberEats. I placed an order for 4 slices. Very disappointed. The pizza was stale and burnt! It’s like they reheated the old pizza and boxed it up. The shrimp was tough and dry. The cheese had no pull to it. The garlic parm sauce was all congealed. The crust hard like rock. I couldn’t even reheat because that would have just made it worse. I have been going to cuts & slices for years and have never experienced anything like this. So why start playing with people’s money now? The oxtail slices are $14 each which is expensive. UberEats fees are crazy! So when I got my food and saw the quality of it, I was really taken aback. This is not the quality I’m used to from cuts & slices. I won’t be ordering for delivery again. I will go to the restaurant moving forward because it’s harder to serve terrible food when someone is present.

I bought a vegan slice and it was terrible. To begin with the crust was quite thick and hard. The sauce tasted like it was from a jar/ bottle straight from a grocery and not made with quality ingredients from scratch. The cheese didn't melt and I've had vegan cheese before which melted, the toppings were onions which tasted sour and sweet peppers. They said the vegan "meat" was soya but it looked and tasted like an overprocessed vegan store bought sausage which they cut up and used instead. Within 2-3 hours of consuming, I had acute food poisoning (medically diagnosed). I will not be buying from here again. I also order 1 slice but was given 2. To not make a fuss we paid and left. I did not even finish it. Extremely overhyped, overpriced and the poorest quality in food I've ever consumed.

I have how good this place is but it is my first and last time ordering/ eating from there. I paid $12 for a veggie pizza and the slice didn't have alot of vegetables but to top it off the slice was so small! There slices are for kids under 5. I would not recommend this place. I ORDERED 4 SLICES AND THEY CAME IN A SMALL PIZZA BOX 2 in each box. Pizzas were not worth the price I don't know how they received a 4.5 ratings. The box says Pull up beloved it should say Run Beloved!! I don't care what toppings they put NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!
