Don Huang Brooklyn Reviews
The service attitude of every waiter in the store is particularly good, and they are also very beautiful! The environment of the store is also great. I have been here many times, but I will come again next time.
I ordered the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle. The food was tasty and flavorful. Loved the chili oil. Definitely worth the price. Will come back! 🫶🏻
The food came out so fast for a place that was packed and busy. It was my first time here and sure won’t be my last. I had the beef sirloin soup, the side noodles, the beef and lamb sticks and a lamb bun. We also had the spicy chicken app. It was so so yummy and I love every moment of it. This spot hits especially when it’s winter. It’s also affordable too.
This restaurant is a hidden treasure. If you want to try beef noddles or experience the culture. You're in the right place. The beef broth was nice and seasoned, perfect for a cold day! It’s also good for the weak stomach or a hangover. Slurp away! The skewers/BBQ on a stick were tasty. The non spicy seasoning has a hint of heat and salty/sweet flavors. It was so good, I ordered more!
Great inexpensive soup that warms the sound on a cold day. Bought an order of brazed beef noodle soup the other day it was cold and raining. I got it to go and warmed it up when I got home. I was very happy when the noodles came free in the broth, I could tell they were fresh and quality made. The broth was nice and salty with a good hot oil on top. Mild spicy but not overpowering. The beef was fall apart tender, and a few pieces still had the tough membrain on them, but that just keeps good flavor. Plus, what do you expect for around $10? Waygu? Either way, an awesome, inexpensive soup spot that also servers other dishes.
The best handpulled noodles in Brooklyn, hands down. Great food at an amazing price point. The best leaves a little to be desired, and the cumin lamb burgers we're okay. Everything else though from the fresh noodles to broth was on point. This is one of my regular lunch spots now.
Tasty and inexpensive noodle with genuine beef soup. Great for a rainy day and less crowded than expected. Clean interior and good quality.
I really love their food and have never been disappointed.
Food is delicious here! It's also very clean and the past few times have been no wait. The food comes standard not too spicy. Just the perfect level of spicy. If you like things super spicy then you might have to ask them for it. Highly recommended to try! The beef noodles, garlic eggplant, and spicy beef tendons are must tries!
The noodles are so good and so bouncy and the broth was really tasty! Also got the eggplant which was super good but a bit too salty. This place is definitely a must if your near or around the area. The spicy isn't that spicy so I'm glad they have chili sauce ready at the table haha

This is my second time here. Flammulina velutipes are not as delicious as last time. Maybe I came too early and there are no customers. Generally speaking, the food in this store tastes good

The food is pretty good at this Dun Huang location. Service is great. The employee is attentive with the tea refills, napkins, and taking away finished plates. The food is pretty good too. Noodle texture is good, spice level good, and just a right amount of meat to top it all off. The skewers were meh. Definitely better at the street carts for that smokey taste. These taste more like they were cooked on an electric flat top. The popcorn chicken was alright too. Could've used some basil and more spices, but it was good value. The atmosphere is great. There is always some fire Cantonese/Mandarin songs playing in the background. Good stuff!
Casual dining experience. The food was lovely and inexpensive per individual. Noodles were cooked just right and the texture is ideal, the thickness complements the soup well. The soup is not overly salted and seasoned well but lacks a little bit of depth of flavor. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.
The noodles was good. The beef broth had a lot of flavor in it. The spicy noodles is good. Not too spicy. They serve skewers here.. The food came out quick. They don't have a huge variety in drinks.
jun hai ok la, looking for replacement for the tw noodle house. the classic lanzhou and beef braised noodle had good beef, but noodles kinda starchy, perhaps shouldve tried hand pulled. got the combo which came with a greek or jndian type oia with lamb skewer meat inside .
Pretty good place for noodles. Decided to stop by here with my girlfriend and I got the Dun Huang Cold Noodles while she got the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodles. Both of the dishes were pretty good but I prefer the cold noodles more since the flavor was all there and the spiciness of it was just the right amount to compliment the dish. The Lanzhou Beef Noodles were also marketed as spicy but when I had it, it wasn't all that spicy but the noodle wasn't bad. If I were to recommend something, get the cold noodles. You wont regret it.
Very good and clear beef noodle soup. The hand pulled noodles had good texture and the beef was very thin and tender. The potato salad was crispy but a bit salty at times. The big pan chicken was decent; the chicken and potatoes was good but the noodles was a bit lacking. The texture wasn't the best. Overall a nice noodle spot, worth the visit.
This place has pretty good beef noodles. I had the Non Spicy Lanzhou Beef Noodle which I will rate a 3/5 because the broth and noodles didn’t have much taste and the beef itself was pretty tough. However, the Soy and Wine Braised Beef Noodle was a 5/5. The beef was nice and tender, very flavorful and the broth was especially good. I would recommend that the most.
Solid spot for authentic hand-pulled noodles in Brooklyn. The big plate chicken was flavorful with tender meat. Prices are reasonable and portions are big. However the “burger” was average — not crispy or flaky. I would definitely come again!
Good noodle shop with reasonable prices, I usually get number 4, the braised beef sirloin noodle. The eggplant side dish is fantastic here, lightly fried and doused with some soy sauce. If you try one side here, get that.

I love Dun Huang but they don’t really have spicy options. Noodles are amazing. My favorite dish is chicken salad. Must try.
